    1. I found in my area, I get more per mile and make more running short trips. Ex: 2.5 miles: 5-6$. 4 miles, 6.50,. Getting mostly well over a dollar per mile. Ex: 12 miles: $9. 30 miles: $24. Now I am making less than a dollar a mile. Go figure, simple math. Be consistent Uber.

    2. I need help, I've done delivery on/off. Just started driving, my Uber app doesn't tell me where I'm going after I pick them up, it's just a general idea. It's very hard to know which ones to cherry pick. When I deliver, I know how where, etc.

    3. In many countries Uber does show all information about the ride in the ping including the exact pick up address , drop down address , the milage and ETA as well how much money the driver will be paid. IN Western Australia it only shows how far in kms and minutes the rider is . When you move to gold tier having 85 or Higher % AR , 3 or less % CR and 400 points ( back in days it was 1000) you will see as well where is the rider ( North , North West ) the duration of the trip ( so you need to calculate on spot whether there is traffic or not ) to estimate roughly how much you will be paid , and the direction from the pick up point ( south west ) . It's very hard to cherry pick when you have 30 secs to keep an eye on road and do your calculations. If you drops your CR or AR bellow level mentioned above , then again you won't see anything other then John is 5 minutes away. And how on heck i should know how far John is travelling, unless its 35 km and plus …

    4. $6 surge??? My area must have plenty drivers. We generally have $1 – $1.50 at peak times or what I assume are times we don't have enough drivers to operate smoothly. $6 surge….wth

    5. Do chase surge if there are larage gathering in the area, but set your filter so you don't go very father, thus taking shorter rides and returning. I got three $12 dollar surge pick-ups within one hour during a huge late concert in my area. At times it takes time for large gathering to clear on a night that is pretty busy. I kinda since Just when and when not to by know my city.

    6. My favorite is when you get a ride to the zone thats been surging all day and when you get there the surge is now back at your house in the suburbs where it's not busy

    7. If it's surging everywhere around me on the map except where I'm at, which they do a lot, then I just won't accept any rides that arent surges. If they keep sending me rides without surges then I'll just go offline and check Lyft or wait

    8. Does some one want to tell him lol? Every one is up against a bot. The bots job is to give out the least amount of pay to the driver while ensuring uber makes the premium profit. The whole thing is run off an ai algorithm

    9. Uber eats about 85% tip and tip big. Uberx 20-25% tip. 5 star rating. People know they have to tip as seen in my Uber eats tips but they don't on Uberx. I drove taxi, black car, limos and the tip rates were almost 100% but Uber forget it the worst. Also I did take all the trips but now only take them if they are over $1 per mile.

    10. About the last tip, I match my riders' energy. If they want to talk, I'm more than happy to engage in a conversation. if they don't want to talk, I throw on some relaxing jazz music and we ride in silence.

    11. My market only pays .36 a mile not good for Uber x. A message to everybody out there Uber and Lyft they are a bunch of crooks and scammers they are just scamming you so remember fellas cherry pick cherry pick cherry pick and get the rides that make more sense to you🎉🎉🎉
