I really like him as a guy I think he’s very personable I think he’s um he’s honest he’s raw with his emotions he wears his heart and slave and I think that’s a really admirable thing to look at him as a player for like it was interesting just as you were talking about when he came into the squad first with trapeton and I can remember him playing for der City uh before he got his mve to England um over to Sunderland and like this fell was absolutely burning up the league of Ireland he was Sensational and everybody thought like where this guy go to how high can he get on the football ladder and he was fantastic when he went to England he seemed to just hit the ground running when he got over there a fell who looked after his physique really well he was always fit he always trained hard and he worked really really hard to get where he got like he’s not what you would call a player who was absolutely endowed with skill and talent natural footballing Talent he’s a player that had to re work really hard I think to get where he got I think that’s something that maybe people do appreciate about them I also think that how many centurions have we got now there’s Robbie Kane Damen Duff Richard dun Kevin gilban John O’Shea John O’Shea that’s five I can think off top of my head we don’t have that many centurions really when you think about over the last couple of decades in that span Shay given us another one so say from the late 90s up till now it’s still a handful of centurions so to actually get to 100 caps is an amazing achievement
