I am in my motorhome in Bayreuth stellplatz, Germany – the home of Wagner. Here I show the stellplatz which is located around 1,600 metres from the amazing historic centre – which is a UNESCO site.

I live in a motorhome full time and travel around Europe in it. I spend most of my time in Poland, Germany and Italy. Vanlife is my life.

In my YouTube channel, I present reviews of recreational vehicles. I do this by regularly attending trade events such as CMT Stuttgart, Abenteuer und Allrad, Caravan Salon Dusseldorf, Warsaw Caravan and Camping Show and sometimes others.

I cover equipment, including 12v electrical equipment and talk a lot about lithium batteries.

I also show some of the places I have visited in Europe in my own motorhome, as well as the places you can stay at! I try to give as much coverage as I can to official campsites and free places which I use for overnighting. Therefore you can find here the aire or stellplatz that you are possibly looking for.

this is the motor home Stell plat in BYO and it’s really brilliant and as you can see there’s lots of vehicles here this is completely free of charge it comes with uh a point over there where there’s a um water and a a dump and um uh sewage uh place it says 72 hours you’re allowed to stay here lots of vehicles here as you can see somebody Park it’s 35 places I didn’t quite manage to uh count them but it certainly seems to me as there’s something like that here now uh unfortunately in the just say up there grow Vasa and uh since I’ve been here been three different Vehicles parked on the grow Vasa I’ve only spent one night here and so before doing the video I wanted to actually uh see what it was like at night and it’s uh pretty it’s pretty good to sleep here in fact I’m going to walk over the side of the road and get a better view of the facilities as well that are here so you can see there’s a petrol station at the other side of the road so it cost now 1 67 here at that fuel station uh so nor has a shop there as well now byro is an um from is an outstanding place to visit and it’s got uh it’s historical this is the town of rard Vagner of the nean and the music used in Apocalypse Now and that type of stuff and so this is where the um concert hall is uh here where they have the Vagner festivals and that type of stuff the inner part of the city is uh wonderful it’s got UNESCO um whatever it’s called and uh it’s very attractive this river runs through it this is the Rota mine so of the mine which the main you might say Frankfurt on Main mine um is the uh largest tributary of the Rin and the mine’s made up of two rivers the the red this is this one the rotor mine and the white and it’s called red because uh it picks up um some sediment or something and it looks red it doesn’t look very red to me it looks uh blackish but uh that’s what that’s what it that’s what it’s called hard to believe though that that that small River uh before long uh becomes the the main when I think of how big it is for example at Russel’s just before it flows into the rain itself and over here we’ve got more parking and in fact we could even see this as a bit of an overflow for the the the uh St blats over there there’s a number of vehicles here as well and so I mean so there’s no problem with the parking free of charge there’s electricity as well as I don’t need it in summer um uh I don’t I didn’t didn’t have cause to actually plug my vehicle in or even think about plugging my vehicle but my neighbors actually did there was a lot of people though here last night now um I’m standing here because I wanted to show you a little bit of the greenery which we’ve got around it’s a bit too far to actually walk into town to give you a view of the the town itself but it’s um sorry in in a short video that is I mean it’s what uh about 1,500 M the center of town something along those lines so it takes what 20 minutes um on foot easy walk and uh you’ve got this cycle paths by the side of the river as well and uh to me this really is a great destination now what’s it like at night because you can hear the noise now in my opinion although I’m not a light sleeper uh so I will I can manage um even when there’s a bit of noise outside uh but for me I I didn’t hear it obviously it’s a bit less but but there there are vehicles that go past so from that point of view I think this has been really a a great place to actually stop the night here let’s have a look at the river on this side as well cuz here it sort of splits up can’t even really hear this uh noise either from the uh River now I stayed here a bit longer but I’m under slight bit of pressure to actually make a move which is why I I am uh making a move it’s time time wise things to fit in I came here cuz I was doing videos for my history site and I’ll leave you a link below so I’ve done sort of the background filming a little bit extra research and so that is why being in byro uh before was in Newburg which Al outstanding I mean what a wonderful place to to to to stay in fact in fact in Newburg I spent 3 days there two nights but I left cuz I thought I didn’t want to see it all I thought I’m here now by myself be better if I came with someone and then to look at nurburg I didn’t I wanted to leave things to see uh here in byro I think in uh two days one night I suppose really uh I’ve more or less covered uh um there’s one or two things I think I’d still like to do but uh I think I’ve done uh what I can as always best to have the bike uh in my case I’ve got so much junk in my my garage as I didn’t fancy emptying the whole thing out though I did in nurburg uh there we have the S station for the uh sewage uh the cassettes and um I might even try using the um uh what you call the gray water release there as well so look at all these vehicles here isn’t that great so um nice walks alongside the river as well this path uh goes up much further and uh oh you know it’s really it’s really really good so uh I really like this place and thanks very much to the author is in by ro for giving this place which I believe is relatively new as well relatively speaking look at all the vehicles though that that are here on somebody on park for night wrote that uh the authorities can be uh they check if you’re sort of stuck within your uh marks you your the lines and I don’t quite know how did also in Germany they’ve got this um disc thing here you know disc you put the time of arrival on so I’ve got I’ve got one in my vehicle so I started using it couldn’t see the point you supposed to be for 3 days it only goes for 24 hours anyway there you go that aart so I’ll leave you know in Sunny B Bavaria yesterday it was roasting today it was freezing but it’s all over the place Northern Germany today was hotter than most of Africa but this isn’t Northern Germany this is Bavaria not in the South and it’s been pretty cold so back to my van thanks for watching and bye for now and lot more lots more like this on this channel
