I love the shoes, and can only find a few pairs in LBSs. I've used their online guide and it… confuses me.

I measure my foot size, the length as 257mm and the width as 110mm. So according to the guide, given a +10mm in length, I should have 41.5. I found a pair at one LBS and it feels like it might be too small still. The chart says that if my feet are wider than 105mm, I should go for the wide shoe (which was the one I found at the store).

So, my question is, should I use my 110mm measurement as the minimum width (guide says 44.5 – 45), even though it will be like 20mm longer than my feet? The cleat position will defenitely be an issue with that big difference in length.

Anyone have any experience with this specific shoes, and the guide? All the LBSs don't have stock for larger than the 41.5 and the order time is significantly longer than just ordering it myself online. I know I really shouldn't buy shoes online without knowing my size…

    1. This a very beautiful shoes. I wish I could have found my size.

From my experience I’d say Fizik are pretty accurate and consistent in their size. I have bought 3 different pairs over the years (terra powerstrap/ tempo overcurve / infinito carbon 2) the last two both in wide version and it fits me well. Length are similar, only the width varies a bit depending on the model. I would assume, top tier model are racier so a bit more narrow.

As for the size I chose based on my foot size. I usually wear 44.5 or 45 shoes but I guess my foot length is more toward 283mm ish so went for 44.5 every time. Try some model that are close to this one at any LBS and give it a go.

      Good luck!

    2. You should probably get the recommended 41.5 size and wide width.

Cycling shoes do not fit like regular sneakers or running shoes. They’re meant to fit close. Too many people size up because of this. If the pair of 41.5 wides you tried in the bike shop are big enough for your toes to not touch the end of the shoe, it’s the correct size.
