behind you can see deari getting out the way over they come now right inside big 90° turn and there it is everybody going for that left hand side one rid has taken it you’re at the way you’re going to lose 30 position there’s a big slowdown behind you’ve got to accelerate again as they go under the bridge now they come up Beyond it thankfully no major incident that is what we were all fearing it was in your scen of who won that battle they’re going to come into this right hand turn now 3 and 1/2 km to go and gentlemen for now we can all breathe but smoothly in so anybody who got a bit fur caught a bit further back we’re thinking well lucky for me it’s smooth I’ve still got a chance Ben Swift continuing a brilliant job at the moment coming up to that magic number of three kilm to go and Shan Kelly there will be some reliev GC contenders yes everyone will be happy they got through that real danger zone there and uh in doing a really good job and you can see the moment they got around the two right uh right handers there was a little bit of slow down down there and deep breath were through that section but we can see here ja l in a really good position um little Tre all there’s just a little bit of waiting for the moment as we go through the three kils to go three KS to go same times if any accident or incident breather for the GC guys Robbie now it’s up to the sprinters teams it is but by the same token on the front inos grenadiers they won’t just swing off and drop themselves into the melee behind go as long as possible keeping Gant Thomas at the front front out of trouble but when the Sprint teams come when they inevitably swamp the front of the peton it’ll just be a matter of staying as safe as possible for the GC Riders and then move out of the way let the Sprint teams do their thing who in turn they want inos grenadiers to go as long as possible no Sprint team wants to hit the front yet they don’t want to use up lead out Riders at over 2 km to go saving sitting in the wheels and soon the push is going to come someone’s going to Blink first hit the front and all hell is going to break loose that was pogacha trying to move up Molano his teammate H Oliva just getting bumped out there Pacha gets onto the wheel where he wanted to take his Sprinter but his sprinter’s not there and he just heard on the radio 2ks to go it’s Sheffield here on the left we look at bide now taking it up for JA alula they’re going relatively early here Robbie that is very very early to be hitting the front with Max walide I would say don’t do an allout effort just yet it is stringing things right out but in the box seat maybe behind them well I sudal quickstep and alpon to King the teams of Tim M and Caden Groves just behind what you see the purple monster Jonathan Milan can’t miss him well there’ll be no big turn from poacha today he’s just done a massive turn and just dropped further down the bunch now as he go to 1.5 km to go it’s still Max valite we know he can carry on for a long time but after him it’s Luca mesit then it’s caleban looking to win his first Grand Tour stage for 3 years now AR samik move up towards the front remember David Decker and Y Beerman for them here come ala kernick and Robbie they’ve got numbers coming into the final kilometer they got numbers 1.2k to go the key there walide now swamped he’s pushed back mesg has to bring Caleb yö slot into the wheel which they’ve done so ala inning for Groves and then behind little treack then they’ve got Riders from sudal Quick Step in between for Merle then it’s the Riders from ja Merle a little bit further back so all the Sprint teams lead outs and sprinters themselves all jumbled through each other someone now needs to make sense of the chaos and get out into 750 m to go and you can see on the left hand side me’s there then it’s Chim Malai will it be time for gavidia he looks like he’s boxed much further down though and he’s following the wheel of Med Le on the center you can see Le Tre waiting waiting conon hasn’t gone yet this is messy it’s left and right a reminder it’s a head wi Sprint here now through the center mzet makes his effort but on the wheel he’s not there is you and you look around he is not there and it’s BB now with me on the wheel then there lonard is not far away on the left hand side mulano tries to move they’re left they right they’re into the wind and there is gavidia he’s made his move you and on the wheel as well but on the left hand side it’s Med is going for it Milan coming through the center Med and Milan Med Milan oh the big man in purple takes it and Jonathan Milan Powers home a packed Sprint at the J of Italia that was like it was in slow motion with all the headwind headwind but the power and that stage win for Milan very much like a few days ago in andur a lot like last year his first stage win in the Jiro he’s too big he’s too strong he’s too powerful he does not blow up in a Sprint and he just holds them it’s like a force field emanating off the purple jersey the chick lamina force field just keeps everybody in his wake he has made a massive step forward on his way to the defense of the Mia chiclamino there Shan Cy he has won in wonderful Style

  1. Merlier got his result canceled? Seems a bit harsh, seen much worse with no consequences. He got in the way of Molano but didn't seem too dangerous to me, what do you think?

  2. Just my two cents, but the Ciclamino is the most unique, beautiful special jersey in World Tour cycling. Color goes great with the pink, as Pog showed us to the UCI’s chagrin! Milan has just those few extra pedal strokes that make all the difference in these sprints. Wow. 😅

  3. They all let the big guy with all the power sit in for far too long. 😂 They saved every single one of his matches. Any wind in his face was not going to hurt him when it came to final 150 meters.
