    We’re Dean & Nala, and we’ve been best friends since December 2018. I was actually cycling around the world when I heard Nala meowing out for me somewhere in the Bosnian mountains. With no intentions of keeping Nala, I knew i had to save the wee kitten and take her to the vet – but I was well aware of the fact that it might be a bit of a challenge considering I only had a bike. However, despite my concerns, Nala quickly climbed out of the front bag on the bike handle and straight onto my shoulder. Since then, we’ve been travelling the world together.       Probably something like this has happened to all of us who have camped solo like this, so sorry it happened to you, it is not a nice experience, I know. Though, I have to say, a boy trying to attack a big fella like yourself is a bit kooky! Glad you and Nala came out of it okay and you got your stuff back. Thinking that perhaps your next tent should be one of those 2-man popup motorcycle tents that has a covered "lobby" where you can park your bike and all your stuff right in the entrance. Keep safe! x

      . I am amazed at the backroads, paths, foot bridges that you find. And the primitive camping opportunities as well as lack of vehicular traffic. I'm glad you fought off the vulture! We are all with you two! Many thanks for taking us along. It's so enlightening to see the actual countries behind their names instead of just the news & politics which colors one's perceptions.       Glad you got the better of him, stinking robber; that's probably the last time he tries to take advantage of somebody like that. Seems like the day was sort of a "Murphy's Law" kind of day. Hopefully things will get better soon!

      I just came across these videos yesterday and have so far watched about 5 of them. It is so relaxing watching Dean and Nala on their travels. The scenery is great and it's so enjoyable watching Nala take it all in. Just love the relationship that Dean and Nala have. Just ordered the book from Amazon yesterday. Dean, what a great thing you are doing for this adorable kitty you have adopted. What you are doing is so wonderful to watch.       I think you handled the thief perfectly. Not much makes me more angry, than a thief. I'm small, 5'2", and I've chased thieves off before. The bunch I caught trying to steal my bike, were 😳😳😳, 🀣!! You easily could have killed him, and you did not.

      I'm still fairly "new" to your channel. I watch this, in particular, because ADVENTURE ITSELF, is in my bones and I saw the first video of "some nice bicycle-guy and cat meet each other by accident, and Guy keeps cat" thingy.
      So, I watch "clever girl, Nala" and you with picturesque countries and beautiful countryside landscapes.
      You, Dean, share and bare your soul. Uniquely, like no other. It is no wonder why you have so many viewers.

      I bet that TEEF local boy shat his pants when he saw a huge bear of a Scotsman running towards him, swearing and shouting, and then giving him a good wallop or two!! And showing your knife, he had no chance. He won't be doing any more teefing in a hurry! Glad you and Nala were safe.

      18:50 instead of just holding the gopro all the time, could be worth having a chest/head strap. Could be worth
      thinking about for future video's, at least then you have both your hands free to hold the scooter.

      That last shot of Nala…that is the epitome of snug and secure in Dean's love for her right there. Snug and smug and totally trusting in him.
