Here’s Cody Gakpo. Robertson takes the defender away, Gakpo’s ball, here’s Salah! It’s in this time. Mohamed Salah returns for Liverpool and turns the ball home. He’s hit the bar, he’s hit the post, now he hits the back of the net. Oh, what a spot by Mac Allister to find Alexander-Arnold, and here comes Robertson, and Salah! Wonderful save, Robertson’s there – and scores again, for the second week running! They’ve deserved that second goal, they’ve had to wait for it, Andy Robertson has supplied it. It comes to Salah, Emerson Royal did well – but he’s lost it, Elliott all over him. And round the back is Gakpo… It’s a lovely header and a lovely goal by Liverpool. Harvey Elliott absolutely relentless in winning the ball back, creating the chance, and Gakpo gives Liverpool further daylight. Andy Robertson. Emerson has put it straight to Salah. Here comes Elliott. It’s a goal to take your breath away, a wonderful strike. One thing on his mind, and he picks out the top corner quite perfectly. Nice ball inside Gomez, and Richarlison is there – and scores. Really well-worked goal from Tottenham. Here’s Maddison. This is going to fall nicely for Skipp. And Richarlison, and Son… And it’s 4-2.

    1. Darwin Nunez will get those inches on his side sooner or later. To lose him would be a terrible mistake. He's in the ketchup bottle stage in his career. When the goals start coming, they will come in numbers. Give the lad a break, for Christ's sake! If Arne Slot is the man I believe he is, he will play Darwin until there won't be no bar or a tip of a finger or toe in the way. If Liverpool sets him up on the transfer list, Barca will swallow him whole. Darwin will go places, but hopefully not next season or the following six. ❤
