[Music] welcome back folks to a brand new video so I know what you’re thinking French summer destination that combines history culture and Beach life thece is definitely the answer located on the French Riviera you can soak up the sun on the pebble beaches but also if it’s a great location to see many other places in one go so let’s take a look at 10 beautiful places to visit in N first up we’re going to head to the most characteristic Street in N the prominade desong which is a gorgeous pedestrian area that follows the curve of the bange beaches Angel’s Bay and it’s actually a legendary Seaside Boulevard lined with planted palm trees and filled with elegant Gardens now this should be the first thing you do once you arrive as well as to end your nights so originally this was just a small footpath the prominade was developed by an Englishman but I have to say this is a great introduction when you arrive in nce and to really start your [Music] holiday on a hill overlooking the N Coastline sight of Castle Hill was the first area of n to be inhabited by the Greeks to Millennia [Music] ago so in the park at the top of this Steep Hill right on the east side of the city you’ll be able to see some of the French Riviera’s great panoramas so you can look back over n and the Sea and it’s quite a sight to behold and you can pick out all the landmarks like the hotel in the gresa but if you’re feeling fit you might reach the top on foot from the old town but there’s also a free elevator so make sure you use that during the [Music] summer and within the picturess surroundings of Castle Hill there is another feature that can offer a very Serene Retreat amongst nature now this Hidden Gem features a Charming artificial waterfall that Cascade downwards around Lush Greenery and it does create that kind of tranquil Oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city down below so this is a great way to escape after a long days walking around and you can literally sit down and relax around soothing sounds of flowing water [Music] [Music] spending a day at the beach in N is literally the perfect way to soak up the French Riviera’s stunning scenery now each of n’s beach has something unique to offer making sure that there’s a spot to suit everyone so for a touch of Glamour you can head to Opera Beach and immerse yourself into the glitz and glamour of this destination or on the other hand ryal Beach is ideal for families with plenty of space for the little ones to play and literally relax so this speech is just across from a fourstar Lee Meridian and just steps away from the hotel mcure but I can tell you it can get uncomfortably busy especially during the summer so you’ll be lucky if you find a spot [Music] [Music] [Music] number five the plasma Cena is the centerpiece of n both physically and figuratively it borders the old town and it’s a short walk from the prominant so this is a must visit ideally as soon as you arrive a niece to soak up the spirits of the city you see the square makes quite an impression especially with its enormous Fountain and you can really feel the Italian influence here the Fontaine du has an obvious Roman inspired theme and so the plina is full of life just like a Piaza in Italy so make sure you take a moment to admire the fountain you can notice the enormous size of the Apollo statue at 17 M High [Music] and now we come to the Old Town the oldest part of the city and it’s a change from n’s broad boulevards and expansive squares like PLO it’s a mesh of Alleyways with local shops and restaurants darkened by tall ochre painted apartment buildings and dominated by the Coline The Chateau to the east so there are plenty of ice cream parlors to enjoy creperies cafes all flow into the square which is often Lively until the very early hours but you’ll also sense a strong Italian feel about the architecture and its setting it’s kind of no coincidence as n wasn’t French until the Treaty of tyin in [Music] 1860 n Cathedral is another very famous cathedral in N known for its Baroque architecture and its very religious significant and it’s one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city so you I guess you can make time to visit the crowds here are not as busy as with the other attractions but as you can imagine during the Peak Travel season it can get to that point so try to visit earlier in the morning it’s also free now we come to must seed day trips asz is a useful Hilltop Village in the south of France and it’s just between Monaco and N famous for its spectacular views its impressive architecture and stunning geographical location which is above the French Riviera about 1,400 ft above sea [Music] level now walking the streets of this town feels like you’re back in the Middle Ages but be prepared to walk up the hill quite a lot and then down the hill on the way back so in this little town you do need good walking shoes believe me but I recommend you take Bus 82 or 112 from the last time I visited [Music] [Music] another one of my favorite day trips from nce is to head to the Village of vran su and it lies just on the other side of Park lore making it one of the easiest day trips to visit you can either take a long walk or get the bus and it’ll only cost you just a few Euros but the main drawer is how colorful the town is additionally it lies by the water with a very Lively prominade by the harbor so make sure you bring your bathing suit for this day trip as will FR Su has an amazing Beach I guarantee you you will definitely enjoy your [Music] trip and last but not least one of the best day trips from nce has to be can known for its luxury and the famous film festival you see it’s a town that should not be missed especially if you’re visiting the French Riviera super easy to get to from n and only takes 30 to 40 minutes using the train so some of the popular things to do is to walk along prominade you can find lots of stunning Beach Clubs to relax in or simply just grab a free chair overlooking the water and just admire the view you don’t really have to spend a lot of money but if it’s possible and you’re there at the right time make sure you head over to the film festival building may not be attractive for everyone to see from within but it’s still worth seeing from the [Music] outside and there you have it folks that’s the end of the
