hey VI Riders and uh thanks for joining me today uh I on a little demo ride on a random bike I’ve never never tried before this is a moto gy V7 Stone so there’s a demo day going on at uh Wheels motorcycles in peterb up I didn’t even know to be honest I just rocked up and uh it was on I think I saw the post but uh on social media I think I just forgot about it so luckily I was off today and I was passing by so I’ve never ridden a guy before and uh straight away yeah this is nice this is characterful I like it is it transverse v twin what it is is a packing plenty of character rocking from side to side got to be careful cuz this is a brand new bike apparently with 12 miles on it so not going to be able to go too mad so what we look at slow speeds then the clutch is a little bit awkward um there’s doesn’t seem to be adjustable and uh and the uh biting point is close to the bar so there just a little bit out so getting into neutral there we go neutral out okay so slow speeds it’s well balanced it does the steering is a bit lazy has to be said and uh but this is the style of bike it is so can’t hold that against it yeah that motor lovely absolutely lovely peachy well it’s not fast but full of [Music] character so riding position wise it feels uh feels okay your legs are quite uh your feet are quite high up so uh there is a bit of a bend in your knees so I’m not sure be comfortable for all day riding so we’re chugging along and yeah uh in terms of vibe it’s not actually that bad we’re near as bad as I was expecting to be fair and uh let’s just say it’s not fast fuel light just come on there’s no apparent fuel gaate I don’t think I can see anyway one is Du Carri way doing uh 60 M hour it’s coping fine chugging along yeah so Comfort is uh pretty much spot on gear box is a little bit clunky that’s to be said but that’s in keeping with the character of the bike I imagine it does tip in corners but it’s holding that line Tech wise you got your traction control and abs and that screen is pretty nice actually in keeping with the character of the bike you won’t want to a tfd on this would you I like the speedo displayed big numbers got 17 miles remaining according to that trip computer telling me you got your trip computer and this bike is doing an average of 38 M the gallon very in M it’s a brand new bike though we weren’t uh against it I love that uh Rumble of the engine side to side brakes wise just got a single disc at the front and uh I can’t go mad cuz uh cuz it can’t be on me but it seems adequate suspension wise uh feels pretty nice actually quite plush doesn’t seem crashy at all not quite sure which tires on it I think they’re Mitch Lins so I think this has got somewh 47 R horsepower so it’s definitely not going to uh rip your arms out their sockets but uh for the kind of bike is it’s adequate this is a perfect bike for gentle Bimal on a Sunday afternoon not a track bike so if you want something fast and you’re in the wrong place I think it’ll be all right to carrying a plion it’s uh it seems a reasonably flexible T unit one uh criticism I’ve got of the uh fueling is when you come to a stop I think it’s it’s quite easy to keep a little bit of throttle on unintentionally so I don’t know if that’s just me or or what but uh it’s not so experience on any other bike all the uh switch gear levers everything is pretty basic stuff as already mentioned no adjustment on the levers by looks of it the gearbox although clunky is positive so I’ve got no idea where I am I say I wasn’t uh I wasn’t geared up for a test ride today just uh happened by chance yeah I it does it tips into corners but it holds its line really nicely it almost feels like uh you should have your pegs further forward Cruiser style but uh I guess those cylinders would get in we it up so first time ever on a uh motor gy and uh yeah I like it I like it a lot uh it does remind me in a way of my old sports that I’ve owned power do seem to come in around 3,000 revs I mean that Rev counter is isn’t the easiest to see but there’s a definite Step Up step up around 3,000 this isn’t a bike you’re going to you’re going to be doing test test this isn’t a bike you’re going to be doing trap days on but wow so much character I love it you could easily do a bit of touring on this is it wouldn’t do it too up fully loaded I don’t think well you do it but I think you might struggle but solo touring put a screen on strap your luggage on the back it will do it it’s not a bike I would uh recommend as a community though cuz I think the Finish would soon soon wear off uh in Winter riding yeah rear break is uh it’s there but uh it’s not the best yeah front is adequate it’s not grab you or anything though which is a bonus it’s uh it sounds beautiful as well I’ll tell you you BP the throtle like that and you can uh you can feel the uh the Pistons moving have bike rocks from side to side I love it absolutely love it uh would this be a bike for me personally I think I’ll get a bit bored of the lack of power myself but if that’s not something that bothers you and Fair Play It’s just problem is you got things like this bikes like the uh Street Twin which has got uh probably about 20 or so more horsepower uh I going have to stop and put my S on a minute cuz I’m lost that’s interesting the uh fuel light have just gone out and I’ve now got 22 miles now it’s back on and we’re back down to 9 miles mirrors are pretty good not uh Too Short on a staring of them but you get good view out the back I’ll tell you what it’s called pep High revs it doesn’t struggle to be fair yeah I thought uh thought I’d run out a puff at uh higher speeds but no that’s fine so what do I think of the uh Moto gy V7 Stone after my short test ride well I like it I like it a lot it’s probably not a bik I would own myself so I like a bit more power but you never know one day I want to slow down a bit must be perfect this should be a perfect little bike if you uh just want to take it easy on a sunny Sunday afternoon oh that engine is just delightful there’s a one thing I’ve noticed there’s quite a bit of slack in that throttle so you could probably get some like a spacer like ducatti spacers I’ve got my speed to [Music] in that would cure that so that’s a not a deal breaker I suppose one last thing to address is the uh looks I mean it is beautiful isn’t it not going to be able to do a proper walk around but uh it’s great looking bike well that’s us little short test ride on the uh Moto gy V7 Stone what we not paddling about yeah it’s not bad I want not a light bike it’s not that heavy yeah Neal I need to find side stand where are you ah water a back there’s a big look on it there easy to find yes s a good looking bike it’s
