    1. I've traveled to many countries and honestly, I wasn't impressed with Italy. The people there are extremely rude and unfriendly. The people there seemed miserable plus Crime is too high and local law enforcement are useless. 3 of my friends got mugged their and my uncle told me the women there are extremely cold and mean. Go at your own risk.

    2. Just be a decent human being in any country you live in or visit. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I mean isn’t most just common sense? Always observe first before jumping to do anything in a new country you visit. If you have to visit a place where you have to be constantly scared of doing something wrong maybe it isn’t a good place to visit. 🤷🏻‍♀️ no thanks. I don’t want to visit somewhere that’s like walking on thin ice where they themselves have plenty of rude, scummy scamming thieves that police do nothing about yet expect the visitor to be like robotic perfect machines.

    3. Italians are very rude. They say they are just to the point. But, that’s just an excuse for their rudeness..

    4. I was just in Salerno for a month. I did not eat pizza with my hands. It was served to me on a nice plate with silverware. If you're walking the streets and grab a slice, go ahead but if you're sitting in a nice place, please behave like a civilized adult and use your cutlery. .

    5. I found in Salerno, anyway, that even at a crosswalk, cars won't stop unless you are in the street itself and you put your hand up in a "stop" position. They were all very polite about it but you have to take charge.

    6. Ordered a cappuccino in the afternoon in Milan and the barista told me they never drink cappuccino after lunch because of the milk…. I was quick to point out the ice cream everyone was eating… He laughted and made me a double cappuccino. Some "rules" are just nonsene.

    7. Cash is appreciated because banks charge crazy commissions to shop owners for using pos.

Next time, if you want to give some advice, split from the beginning between north, center and south, ad, de facto, these are different countries with different rules. Ciao.

    8. Nightlife and aperitivo are different things.aperitivo is to eat some snacks with your friend while you talk and nightlife is disco and Italy have a big nightlife like the biggest disco in the world: the Number one

    9. I've been living in italy for a year now and I can confidently say ORDER A CAPPUCCINO WHENEVER YOU WANT. In fact, as long as its legal, do whatever you want at the time you want to do it.

    10. I'm German who lives in Italy whose partner is Italian. I advice visitors who couldn't speak italian, to know your budget well and let it known, once you order take note of the prices of what you order. Avoid arguements over small things, so pay as you order, specially if its just a cup of coffee, coz' some restaurants in touristic areas take advantage of tourist, they can over charge and not during high season. "Do give tip" not unless you feel you got ripped off.

    11. I am so "homesick" for Italy. My first trip was to Lake Como. I have lived in Italy since(1 yr in Naples and 1 yr in Rome), and been over 30 times.
