I take my Porsche Taycan EV from Nottingham to London then back up to Harrogate using ONLY Tesla Superchargers to see what it’s like to charge a non Tesla Electric Car on the Tesla Supercharger network. Is it cheaper? Is it faster than the normal charging Infrastructure? Plus I speak to Tesla owners to see what they think of non Tesla Drivers charging on their network.

I think you’re find I think you’re find you should have got a Tesla I think you bought the wrong car should have got a Tesla why when I can just use your network hey that’s all I’m going to do and they’ll open they’ll open lots more of their Tesla Network up to non- Tesla cars like mine cuz they’re struggling you’ve seen it on the news laying off people so you’re going to find when you get to your Tesla charge Point pora taans and pole stars there blocking you charging anyway in today’s video we’re going to take my Porsche tyan down to London and drive all the way back up uh through Luton Northampton then back here at annesley and then up to Harriet using nothing but the Tesla charging Network blocking it for Tesla owners should have got a Tesla we know what Tesla owners are like don’t we they like to smear themselves in Bal and peanut butter and get their dogs to lick it off that’s what a Tesla owner is like because they’ve got no taste cuz look at their cars they look horrible they look like a cockroach or a suppository anyway going to charge up here first and we’re going to head down to London to Tottenham before we do the long journey up to Harriet and we’re going to see what the Tesla charging network is like in a non Tesla car in something that actually looks quite nice and doesn’t look like it’s been drawn by a child if you’re new to the channel by the way do hit so with the Tesla charging Network you have to download an app you can’t just turn up and use contact list that doesn’t work there is nowh to do that you download the app you put in your credit card details Etc um and then it just builds you for it now what’s interesting is um they have a standing charge as well at idle fee so an idle fee can be up to1 pound per minute so if you leave your car idling once it’s charged you’re going to get charged which I think personally is a good idea because then it stops you blocking the charges for other people um also they have varying times as well so uh for instance uh busier times they charge you more off peak for instance 42p per kilowatt I believe uh on off peak and then uh on peak times uh on this one uh 53p per minute so it varies uh on how busy it is so there we go different locations quite a few locations across the UK now opened up to non-tesla cars which is interesting and more and more along the way as well that are coming as a Tesla owner if you are watching and you are a Tesla owner that would annoy me if I was a Tesla owner because these surely that’s what part of the thing of having a Tesla I think you’ll find you should got a Tesla because you can use the best charging Network what happens when they open more and more of these up you turn up and you’ve got a Porsche Tian in the space where you want to charge or even worse an mg or a PO a let’s get this thing charged up and get on the road anyway right so I’ve uh done the app now all I need to do is plug in hopefully the cable’s long enough so let’s get this shoved in and then we can get on our way once it’s charged and see what the rest of the Network’s like right so the cable’s long enough let’s pop this in there we go little bit tight but we’re good right so we’re underway I know it’s 90% but I thought I’d give it a go get it up to 100% And then we’ll get on the road tells you your charging fees also what kilowatt it’s actually charging at at the moment charging rate 15 kilowatt um it’d be interesting to find out it doesn’t seem to charge as fast as it charges Teslas is that is there a reason for that um because I’ve used them before let me know but also uh Tesla owners as I say got a Tesla owner over there now uh giving me the BD I feel guilty charging on your network I have to say I personally don’t think it should be allowed but you know I guess it’s all money in um elon’s pocket isn’t it you know well I’m waiting um You probably heard you may have heard that um Quentin Wilson X Top Gear presenter uh before it got good uh actually spoke about me indirectly wouldn’t give me the oxygen uh on BBC Radio and one of the things that he mentioned was he said it was all fake news about um cars electric cars being too heavy to go into car Parks Etc and making Bridges collapse and he said it’s basically all false news now interestingly enough though however and he’s mentioned in this news story here it says electric car driver turned away from hospital car park no electric vehicles are allowed so a father who has taken his child to Al Dey Hospital in Liverpool says he was turned away from the car park because he was driving an electric vehicle now then it says Paul Freeman poell said he was told he could not park next to nearby grass because his car could explode the hospital says it has temporarily banned access to the car park while it improves its sprinkler system but industry figures have challenged the decision pointing to research that indicates petrol cars are considerably more likely to catch fire than EVS H it says Mr Freeman pow told the BBC he attempted to tell the security guard he spoke uh to that that the hospital’s policy did not make any sense but he said in the end he complied because he did not want his seven-year-old son to miss an appointment he had waited for for nearly uh 5 years five wow blim me um nearly 5 years for in a statement issued to the BBC alery Hospital said the following advice from uh merys Side Fire and Rescue It had temporarily restricted the parking of electric vehicles in one of our smaller car parks while we upgrade its sprinkler system electric vehicles are still able to park in our main hospital car park it continued pointing out uh then it goes on about misinformation Etc and this is where Quentin Wilson comes in again seems to be banging on about electric cars Quenton if you’re watching I’d love to get together on camera with you just drop me an email if you dare uh it says it’s found it says here fa Mr Freeman po shared a picture of the sign at the entrance to the car park which reads no electric vehicles on X formerly Twitter uh Fair charge a campaign group for electric vehicles described it as misinformation uh erroneously shaping uh public policy its founder the motoring jour journalist Quentin Wilson said for the NHS to restrict electric cars from coming into car Parks dramatically conflicts with clean air and health benefits from zero tailpipe emissions anyway it goes on and on about this so I shall pop this um report in the uh description down below and have a read of it yourself but it’s interesting isn’t it that that’s actually come from the fire department so really what they’re saying is the electric cars are more of a fire risk than petrol cars because petrol cars were allowed to go into that car park but electric vehicles weren’t so Quentin answer me that riddle me that anyway let’s see where we are on this network it’s not charging very fast at all and I’ve got a Tesla owner right behind me wonder if they’ve got any Bal in their car this is actually painful 20 kilowatt charging rate and this is a fast charging car Tesla earners tell me why why is this not charging very fast I don’t understand they don’t seem to be giving me the power that I need so I think I’m going to just call it a day in a minute because I’ve been here about 15 minutes now1 26 20 I mean that’s Nots we’ll probably give it give it five more minutes and then uh we’ll just get on our way because obviously it charges slowly anyway after um 80% so uh we’ll get down to Tottenham and then we should be low enough to give us a faster charge fingers crossed right I think I’m going to call it a day we’re now at1 68 uh 92% of charge charging ratees only 21 Kow not getting a lot out of it so let’s hit the road and uh get down to Tottenham and test the rest of the network come on right I think you have to stop it on the app let’s have a look stop charging there we go stop charging charging stopped at 10:25 a.m. another Tesla owner is he a Tesla owner no it’s Mercedes we’re all right Mercedes I bet that’s annoying all you Tesla owners out there we’re using your network we’re using your network right I tell you what I need to get out of here because I feel so so uneasy around evangelists I’m getting a name now and uh I feel like I can they they’re burning their eyes are burning through me a little bit like their cars burning right come on onwards my friends now what I’m hoping is that you don’t have to go and register your car with that hotel because there’s anpr cameras on that car park uh and also along here as well so um that’s worrying that is worrying because a lot of the car Parks now we now have these parking operations in force Etc and it’s all one big con isn’t it everywhere that you go now you’ve basically got these parking things in in in operation where they just send you an invoice out a fine if you don’t pay it Etc and you pay it straight away it’s cheaper if you don’t then it cost you 100 OD quid they do it in Tesco they do it in ASDA they do it in McDonald’s it’s basically I think one big scam these parking people it’s again aimed at car owners would just get scammed all the time it’s easy money easy pickings right let’s get on the road and let’s get to Tottenham to London we’re also going to try and ring Jeff by cars along the way as well and uh see what he thinks to it but I’m be really interested interested to know from Tesla owners there’s got to be some Tesla owners watching this video as Tesla is in the actual description let me know what you think to us not having Tesla cars charging on your network because I know when I’ve been to Porsche uh in the Lake District and and and at Nottingham Etc and charged at Porsche charging stations if there is another car in there that isn’t a Porsche it windes me up and I get angry I’m like what are you doing get off it which is interesting isn’t it are we get are we going to get like that so that I mean you never go into ESO and start thinking oh there’s a Mercedes in there or whatever it’s it’s brand snobbery isn’t it brand snobbery [Music] [Music] it’s interesting isn’t it because Tesla really what has it actually got going for it if it opens up its Network more and more to non Tesla cars then really he’s kind of devaluing his brand because what else has it got going for it okay the software is pretty good on a Tesla it’s got really good software I will admit that but a lot of other car manufacturers now like VW and scoda Etc their software is getting better and better and he’s becoming on par with it and a lot of Chinese manufacturers as well their software is getting better and better so it’s interesting it’s like apple giving up their ecosystem uh and opening it up to PCS oh you can use our software on PCS it then devalues the brand of Apple now they did that many many moons ago when they got rid of Steve Jobs and I think it was UMX computers or whatever and they actually licensed their software onto Nona computers which devalued the brand because then why would you buy an Apple computer if you can go and get something that’s a third of the price that’s cheaper and you’ve got the same thing basically so I think they’re devaluing the brand a little bit so why would you actually go and get a Tesla so there you have it let me know your thoughts in that comment section down below [Music] ha [Music] um with Teslas by the way again Tesla owners let me know in that comment section down below um they have self-driving facilities now I don’t think that’s available fully self-driving in the UK but I believe it is in the USA let me know in that comment section but interestingly enough I saw a video on M guy uh in Australia who I met up with when I was over there and he did a video about where if somebody wore a stop sign on their shirt would the car stop because it sees that stop sign and it did it was stopping because it was it observed the stop sign that somebody was wearing on a shirt so it shows you that these things are not Invincible this self-driving car Etc and things like that does it actually fully work and is it fully safe because I know you’re going to say well human error as well you’ve got human error but at least we know the difference between a stop sign on the road and one on somebody’s shirt because obviously it’s using cameras which is uh it’s a bit worrying isn’t it are we in danger of these cars having more and more accidents if we actually go fully automated which seems to be the route that we’re actually going at the moment especially in the USA not so much um in the UK at the moment [Music] and a Nissan ARA is that an electric car oh I think I’ve been a bit sick in my mouth that looks revolting absolutely Revol revolting how you get it revolting is that an electric car good grief who’s designed that Stevie Wonder honestly these electric cars why is it if there’s any car designers out there right just design a nice electric car like the Porsche tyan and and maybe the Audis but then why would you have an Audi anyway when you’d go for if you’re going to go for the Audi you’d then go for you basically go for a Porsche wouldn’t you because you go for the Audi then you think I could have had the Porsche there’s no reason that you would have the Audi the Audi is a nice car but you’d you’d have the Porsche you’d pay the money and have the Porsche just design some nice cars that are affordable even the new mini the new mini electric it looks revolting again it’s no just stop it stop making these revolting looking cars and design something that’s nice [Music] right so uh we’ve got 76% of battery left I’ve got 187 miles of range uh 116 miles to get down to Tottenham in London to the Tesla charge point that we need to use and then we’re going to charge there uh we’re going to try and charge also Lon and Northampton test the charging points there as well and see what they’re like and uh test those out and then maybe charge again back up at anle if we need to uh which is where we started at which is near Mansfield and then off up to Harriet as well for the final charge so uh it’ll be interesting to see how busy these charging networks are of Tesla and how many Teslas and non- Teslas are actually charging up on them honestly I would would be really really methed if I was a Tesla owner that you’ve got non Tesla cars blocking your charge points that would really annoy me [Music] you know some of the road signs do not make sense sometimes they’ve just gone Q ahead on the sign and then we’ve literally gone through there about 100 yards and then it’s gone National speed limit again and there was no queue so who’s monitoring the roads and putting there’s a there’s a queue when there isn’t one and getting us to slow down for no reason honestly I think there’s more to this it’s interesting because I spoke to a guy the other day who uh picked the scod up and he lives down in London and he said he believes controversial that they’re actually narrowing Lanes putting bus lanes in and actually putting cycle Lanes in on purpose to slow the traffic down and to cause cues and congestion they’re doing it themselves but there is something in that isn’t there because with all the bike lanes and the bus lanes Etc you’ve got less space for the cars and yeah of course it’s going to be busier isn’t it doesn’t make any sense there’s something behind it all I think they want us off of the roads all together hence let’s get you all in electric cars that nobody can afford really it’s interesting because the other day I drove from uh boness on windir down to Worcester and the cost of the charging that it cost me to charge this car compared to Jeff bu cars where I went to see if you look head over to his channel you’ll actually see the comparison and the cost comparison for the same amount of money that I paid to charge my car he he put the same amount of money in his diesel Volvo and he actually got more miles way more miles for the same amount of money that I put into my electric car so it’s a fallacy that electric cars are actually cheaper to run because a they cost more to start with b they depreciate faster than equivalent petrol or diesel car and C if you’re not charging at home they cost you a lot more money to charge than put in petrol or diesel in your car so really they’re not that cheap and to actually make these cars they’re not even environmentally friendly look it up so where are we going what’s it all about what’s it all [Music] about now what I’m going to do is to get Optimum charging here on the Tesla charging Network um I know I didn’t do it back at anly but what I’m going to do now is I’m going to only charge to 80% at these charges so that’s all I’m going to charge to and then go to the next Charger and again top it up to 80% and then that way hopefully I get Optimum charging Etc and faster charging uh and that’s what we’re going to do so we’re not going to go over 80% if if we can try not to anyway so that’s what we’re going to do and do it properly cuz I think you’ll find that uh you only should charge to 80% and they’re not below 20% although some evangelists near other day said that’s actually not true you’re saying it wrong only charge to 80% where you can but there’s not a problem if you’re going on a long journey to charge to 80% they’ve always got an answer haven’t they these evangelists [Music] right well I need to stop uh for for the little boy’s room actually I need a Wii I need a Wii so I’m going to stop off at Newport pagal no I’m not going to charge because today we are testing out the Tesla charging network uh and it’s only a select few that you can use although it is growing it is growing regularly it’s getting quite big now if you download the app and you look it there’s quite a large and quite a substantial amount of charges that you can charge a non- Tesla car on so ha Tesla users ha Tesla owners ha we’re using your network childish child right milk flow off now interestingly enough we’re at Newport pagal Services here now I’ve been here before to try and charge and they’ve got some charges here uh electric or something I think it’s called and I tried to charge on these before and I couldn’t download the app because the contactless part wasn’t working so you couldn’t pay contactless at when they’d first set them up so I tried to download the app I couldn’t get a signal so I couldn’t actually charge on these which is interesting so uh but it looks now that you may be able to pay contactless now and download the app you can have literally a phone full of apps aren’t you for your Tesla charger your uh electric charger or whatever it is your grid serve charging app there’s literally going to be like loads of apps on your phone that you’ve got to download just to charge your code what happened to just contactless or cash and you can’t pay cash on any of the charges so in the EV World cash is not King come on ah hang on a minute we’ve got Jeff by cars on the phone let me just get him on loudspeaker is that Jeff mice cars Jeff talk sh yeah I’m right here Jeff talk SH now then guess what I’m doing today uh you’re hanging around outside queny Wilson’s house I’m not hanging around outside queny Wilson’s house that would be you’re at your new house making charging Network are you allowed to do that am I allowed you see I now I asked the Tesla owners out there who will be watching this they must be really peeved because more and more Tesla Chargers are now open to non-tesla cars again like if it was about saving the planet and doing good for the environment surely it would be an everybody love everybody sort of thing and we’d have one generic charging system for the whole country and all the car charger points would be the same but it’s not so it must just all be about money and control well that must be it well I’m at Newport pagal at the moment and there’s a another charger here which I’ve been here before and it wouldn’t accept contactless at the time and you had to download the app so there we go you you can have a phone full of different apps for different Chargers but I have to say the Tesla users must be really really peeved because when I went to Porsche the other week in South Lakes there was a I think there was a pole star charging up and I actually was annoyed I was like why are you charging on a Porche charger I I fully agree so especially if you paid the list price for your Tesla thinking you had an exclusive charging Network and then Elon Musk dumped all the prices on all the Teslas and then he opened up the charging Network to all the other proletaria I would be very annoyed if I bought a Tesla yeah should have got a Tesla Maybe not maybe not I mean what’s the point really let’s be honest if the Tesla charging network is going to start opening up to non Tesla cars what’s the point in having a Tesla because they look foul the people that buy them smear themselves in Marmite and get the dog dogs to lick it off so what’s the point I went to view a car yesterday to buy on behalf of someone else and the lady on Facebook Marketplace said to me don’t worry my husband will show you the car right so I go to the car and I’m there before the husband arrives husband turns up in a Tesla Model y why being the why being the word this guy knew nothing about cars not a thing the sort of people that buy Tesla Model wise know absolutely nothing about Motor Cars is it a model why is in wh y spell a Tesla Model y well my my youngest child tells me that the Tesla models are named Model S model three model X and model y because the model range spells sexy really apparently oh my word oh dear I I know and that you see that comes down to being again spreading themselves in Marmite and peanut butter and getting the dog to lick it off sexy you see it’s all about and I said I was there they’re Doggers they’re swingers it’s in there the word is in there yeah exactly swinging Teslas do you like any Teslas um I drove the model three for a test drive and I mean what is the novelty of the acceleration at warn off it was just another car um it’s got some neat features you know they’ve got some neat features but I just it’s the whole thing for me it’s the control element is the fact that I can’t get into it without my ID and the whole Elric car thing I’m just I’m just not a fan I’m not a fan oh well you know who’s got one don’t you I think quiny Wilson’s got one hasn’t he he has yeah I tell you what there’s been some great comments on Twitter apparently we’ve we’ve fully schooled him on the electric car charging and pricing Network people are saying he has made himself look a right fool have you got a message for queny because he’s probably watching I think he probably is watching and he’s probably cursing himself right now for being such an idiot calling you a nut job yes I’m not a nut job Quenton I’m not I mean I’m not am I a nut job I think we’re all nut jobs sometimes but the point was he did it publicly on the BBC the other thing as well that someone said to me in a comment is the reason he never named You by name and didn’t name your channel is because that’s on the BBC that would have given you the right of reply so you would have been able to publicly State your case had he actually named you I don’t know if that’s correct but but I quite like the idea that he deliberately didn’t name you so that you didn’t actually have any comeback I mean let’s be honest he all but gave my shoe size I mean he pretty much gave you a shoe size uh he did everything possible to name you without naming you it was hilarious I think we’re getting the message across charging Network come on right so these are the ones that I tried to charge on last apple green and it’s 77 P per kilowatt in app payment 72 P so to get you to download the app they’re giving you a bit of an incentive there uh but if you just tap and go it’s 77 so there we go they just try try to get an app on your phone aren’t they and get your data right well I’m going to get to the L there’s also some grid serve charges over there as well but lots of different charges there anyway I need the L I’ll meet you back at the car oh a Volvo electric oh dear [Music] right okay let’s get back in the car um D BMWs look terrible the it on to the grill it looks awful sack the BMW design team onwards right come on no time to waste let’s get there obviously I have got time to waste cuz I’ve got I’ve got an electric car plenty of time to waste milk float on and on our way [Music] right okay so this is the state of Brit Britain’s roads by the way 52 miles to the Tesla charger that we need uh at Tottenham uh an hour and 29 minutes to get there to get 52 miles now I need to get up to Harrier to the final charge point cuz I’m going to get from Tottenham to Har so what I might do is skip the Northampton one or skip the luten one I don’t know we’ll see where we’ll see where we are I’ll look at where we are on the actual charge point on the map uh and we’ll do uh another one in between maybe not an asly I don’t know we’ll see anyway we’ll work it out to get the uh to we’ll plan our journey I think you’ll find you need to plan your journey well that’s exactly what we’re going to do today we’re going to plan our journey cuz if I don’t get back to lead tonight before 6:30 there’s going to be trouble there may be trouble ahead I won’t give up my day job whatever that is is it really a job maybe I should get a proper job anyway stop waffling come [Music] on um by the way we’re going into a congestion charge Zone but it’s weekend anyway so I don’t think that applies uh and also my car um yeah don’t get charged the congested charge it’s exempt uh because I went online and I registered my car as being exempt from the congestion charge because it’s fully electric even though really they should know that with their ampr cameras but for some reason you have to register it maybe that’s to catch you out and make more money it’s all about money it’s all about the money um however that incentive is to go I think it’s 20 I think it’s in a year or two’s time it goes anyway look it up pop it in the comments section but the incentive of free congestion charge or wavering the congestion charge for electric cars is going the same as also um the I know it’s not Road tax now or whatever it is um that went as well that’s going so the your incentives going for the road tax your incentiv is going for the congestion charge your incentive for originally to have a home charger installed that’s gone as well so all those incentives are disappearing so if all the incentives are disappearing they’re going to take everything away they’re dangling a carrot in front of you here we are look buy an electric car oh we’ll have that back buy electric we’ll have that back so don’t fall for it don’t fall for it my friends stick with a diesel or stick with a petrol power to the people my friends power to the [Music] [Music] people pole star a pole star it’s not the ugliest looking car I will admit that it’s not the ugliest looking electric car that goes to probably the tan well no not even the Tesla I’m going to say the mg that’s one of the worst ugliest looking cars much it cost uh for us for Tesla users it’s a different prices so it’s cheaper than what we’re we’re doing and I’m only getting really slow charging out of these charges you get faster charging don’t you no pretty much I think they’re the same but maybe if you recondition your car before you ride here yeah then you get fast charging and you get fast charging I recondition my car like a 10 miles before coming here yeah so I get like a 134 K and can I ask you one other question yeah what do you think right you got to be honest when a when a non-tesla pulls up into a Tesla charging point I don’t mind actually because most of them they are empty you can see that uh Tesla’s were but only problem is if you can see here as well you you just occupi two spaces now yes I have yeah you take that charger as well and you take this space as well yeah why is because your connection is there so all electric cars they have a different different connections all over the place so that’s little bit unfair to the other users whereas you Tes are charging at the same place yeah some places I see people having a argument people are fighting with each other because they say you just take two space and I have to wait for 50 minutes now whereas if I was a Tesla the charging it’s only one space and everybody would be uniform that’s a good point they need to fix that one to make a universal yes for all the cars that’s a good that’s a good point so then everyone can be use that one yeah this is one of the biggest problem I’ve seen uh all different I don’t mind people use other charges because if they are empty so at least people bring more green got yeah got easy uh it’s not an electric airplan no not no yet soon baby soon yeah maybe so’s going to go out of business I think that’s the idea that’s it would you is it your first Tesla yeah the first electric car would you have another Tesla oh yeah I will I will definitely you would never go to like AOL no would you go to Porsche competition is coming in the market yeah U Tesla one thing is good the charging network is best in the whole UK yeah even in over the Europe as well if you want to go to the Europe they have the best charging Network so you always never I it’s never happened to me then I went out of charge you’ve never run out charge and so in 2 and a half year never happen the Tesla charging network is good Tesla take you straight away towards the charger if your battery is low so it’s tell you if you’re going to the weight let’s say to Birmingham it’s going to say you’re not going to make to Birmingham so stop at the Watford Junction or Watford camp and you you do you like the Tesla charging Network you happy with it yeah yeah they’re good their prices are good as well when I bought this one that time it was 25p per kilow now they’re charging like 55p kilow uh 45 P Kil in the night time is cheaper it differs doesn’t it yeah in the night time it goes but now just plug it in that’s it you don’t uh just just plug it in and automatically just take all the money whatever even you don’t have money in your account it still give you the charge really yeah what do they do then just charge it to no they keep making the balance in your account because they don’t let you go out of charge they’ll never let you go out of charge do you know what that’s been really interested answer a few question this happened to me one time I didn’t had money in my account and I so the Tesla just you know just let me charge and nothing happened next time my wages come and that’s it I took the money out actually messing around with different cards different memberships you just plug in and that’s it job done no messing nothing it recognizes the car talks to the car and then builds you which I guess is a better way of doing it instead of messing around with contact list downloading apps really I guess that’s the way that it should be done it should just be standardized but how are you going to do that with different cars and different brands that’s not going to work is it or is it maybe Tesla open up their whole network to uh other brands and then that’s the way of May way of them making money maybe in the future they don’t make cars they are just a charging Network [Music] one of us us one of one of us I’m not one of you not one of you um you know I have to say one thing about the Tesla supercharge Network it’s interesting because I’ve been to them before off camera and I’ve never been to one yet that’s out of service or isn’t working they all just seem to work whereas you go to other charging networks like grid seres for instance and there’s plenty of them all the time that are always out of order so is it different technology why is it Tesla owners let me know in the might have seen on the video and he picked up his scoda his new scoda electric car and I’ve just him what it’s like what’s it like are you enjoying it well I must tell you one thing it’s more short fotter to drive than it is the hyi ionic 5 it’s got a stronger presence it feels more robust the quality of the materials inside are a lot better um it’s got more space but that’s but that’s just because of the design of the of the car it’s got an interesting feature which I’ve never seen before um with the adaptive cruise control which I’ve had on on previous cars the adaptive cruise control works slightly different in in as much as when it reckons or sorry when it recognizes a different speed sign it increases that speed or decreases it according to the traffic sign recognition it picks up now our previous car that adaptive cruise control I’ve never known that to happen before that’s good are you getting good range out of it yeah it seems to be okay I mean we haven’t charged it yet we’ll be charging on the way back down the motorway sometime tomorrow it seems pretty good it’s showing on the what I call the gasometer uh between 3.8 and 4.2 KW hour uh per mile or or or or however that that that worked you know but it’s it’s a lot better than the hyundi was in in that respect brilliant that’s fantastic hope you keep on enjoying it you’ll have to let me know how the how the charging goes as well yeah I’ll sure do and I’ll do my uh Back preconditioning At One Two which I couldn’t do on the on the hyunda but I’ll tell you something very very quickly it’s it the the vehicle if you want to uh get a cheaper price as well you can join it and become a member on the app and then you get uh cheaper kilowatts Etc so that’s uh something to bear in mind the Tesla supercharging Network so far I’ve been pretty impressed with uh to be fair every charg has as I’ve said before always been uh working and not out of order Etc so uh they must keep them serviced and um do a good job of them because a lot of the grid serve ones that I go to they’re the worst I’ve encountered for being out of order and malfunctioning Etc in fact when I was filming the other today there’s actually a guy fixing one of them and I’ve had no end of problems with them never had any issues so far touchwood with the Tesla ones so let’s get there and uh finish up the video and see how much uh total in dangerous isn’t it I’ve also had it before where I’ve gone up to a car to turn around from it and and maneuver and it’s slams the brakes on thinking you’re collision avoidance thinking you’re going to see whether it makes any difference to how fast uh the charger works when we get to the Tesla Supercharger and see whether it actually charges any quicker cuz I need to get charged and I need to get
