Can Cassis really be my new favourite town and pip Honfleur for my top spot of places to visit in my motorhome in France?

    I think it’s fair to say we may have just topped on flare hello I’m Joe otherwise known as the menopausal motoroma now after navigating through some challenging years adding The Twist of my rapidly depleting hormones I think I found my ultimate remedy hitting the road in my motor home Lane join me on my travel escapades across the UK and Europe and don’t forget to hit that subscribe button to join me on my upcoming Adventures so we’ve arrived in ciss uh after a scary little moment in carford this street just got very steep look at everybody swimming down there I no no no they’re not swimming no it’s the boys I did wonder if that might be warmer than the sea we went in s sounds Marie [Music] no this would be a taxi back up this [Music] one yeah yes it’s definitely the uh French version of sent Ives now we’re talking now we’re talking John get the moths out oh you can rent just to see if you like it that’s only € 1,065 a month [Music] [Music] there’s mine and John’s boat I think it’s fair to say we may have just topped on flare this is a special find [Music] [Music] seriously this is one of those places from a postcard like yeah just no [Music] words he’s uh he’s just washing his fish freshly caught very [Music] [Music] proud lots of English here um which is there’s only one campsite one campsite it is only a tiny little town um and I think I’ve just seen the area where packed up but I definitely imagine it’s the kind of place people come to highend beautiful and some really nice looking boat rides too so you might know the name ciss from a couple of different things you’ve got the famous lure which is added as a crem de ciss from the black currents it’s also known for its luxurious Hotel L Ro blanch a favorite among celebrities that’s where we’re parked up near those brown buildings yeah that’s going to make us sweat walking back up there [Music] there’s nobody in it though I wonder if it’s as cold as it was at S Marine I think it will be why nobody’s in it that’s why nobody’s in it even there the video probably just doesn’t capture how high up that clip is [Music] [Music] I think I may have changed my mind about where I want to live still France though and there’s not going to be much talking in this video because I’m just completely too busy stealing it move that it is just [Music] beautiful yeah the sea is just so turquoise and come and sit here at the end of the lighthouse and watch the waves [Music] [Music] and don’t worry if you brought your bike there’s even secure parking you just have to throw it down there imagine living in a house like that oh the little land train ciss express the tourist train well there’s where you can [Music] go it’s € 10 a person the French love a um uh Carousel don’t they every time we’ve been to yeah perfect place for an evening game of patonk yeah with a beer 100% And 20 Chesterfield got a bit of a queue for the toilet though looks like they’re doing some that hotel up Hotel Le is there’s part of me that wants to relax on this holiday and just lay by a pool but I’ve also got fomo what happens if we miss something [Music] I yes John has rightly pointed out the she if you need to get out the heat get to the streets look how shiny the streets and Pavements are though I wonder if uh you reckon they’re original like Romanesque very shiny [Music] and now John you know what’s coming next don’t you the [Music] hills the uphill Tre the uphill Trek we’re actually going to do this by the back street so we’re not in the main Sunny the other the shade via the shade [Music] exactly a look it looks like it’s my name up there most people probably don’t know that my surname is French Joe [Music] French here we go slowly does it hey John and you can have some nice b-roll of some berries while we get his breath back could have got the bus nah in all reality there was a steep bit for about what 3 minutes the steps the steps and then the Steep bit were the toughest part yeah and then this hill that would just you but it’s about 10 minutes yeah walk back up the hill I told you it was those brown buildings that’s them up close wonder if it stops as we walk past can you see it nope if had a thought on and park two spaces be back would have had a nice Shady pitch what’s betting the van is cooking we’re parked here um and I found it’s € per hour um and it’s only pay between 9 and 7 you’ll see there are a couple more behind me I don’t think we’re going to stay here overnight but you can um and it’s 3E after 7:00 p.m. um
