A fantastic four-goal display from Erling Haaland helped earn City a 5-1 win over Wolves at the Etihad Stadium and move us within one point of the Premier League summit.
The Norwegian was at his unstoppable best as he converted two penalties and an incredible header to seal a ninth City hat-trick before the half-time whistle was blown.
He then added the fourth eight minutes into the second period to restore City’s three-goal advantage just moments after Wolves forward Hwang Hee-chan had scored.
Late substitute Julian Alvarez added further gloss to the scoreline with a fifth in the closing stages.

As much as I hate City, Haaland is a player you can only love especially in his RB Leipzig days to Dortmund, people will forever be critical of him for having players like KDB, Rodri, Bernardo and Foden which makes things easier for him, and this season we saw highlights of that when KDB were sidelined and Rodri suspended. But man, when he scores he makes things look so easy.
Not only is Foden scoring big goals, but he also makes excellent passes. It's also wonderful to see Haaland return to his prolific goal-scoring ways. Rodri is still very good, and Gvardiol gets better every game.
