Here is the PVY Z20 MAX – an ultra long range folding ebike from PVY. With it’s 2.3 inch wide tyres this is an alternative to the Fat tyre ebikes with lesser range. The PVY Z20 Max has 2 batteries which give it such a big range. But also it has a torque sensor which means you’ll be helping out though you won’t be breaking a sweat.

cheers actually this isn’t a drink this is a battery I’m going to put this on the bike you’ve seen the PIV zed2 Pro and you’ve seen evrc bike of 2023 the pivi z20 plus well here is the pivi z20 [Applause] [Music] max it’s well packed the computer pedals hand grit if you don’t want a throttle two amp charger European plug tools manual what’s that taada that was quick let’s check it out cheers slots in extremely easy there so yes this is a dual battery bike and I thought it was going to be an upgrade of the z20 plus 1000 that was evrc best bike of 2023 but actually looking at it it’s a lot more like an upgrade of the zed2 pro now I love that bike but it is cheap and you can tell it’s cheap because it’s got a lot of cheap stuff but it’s a decent bike for the price this bit more expensive I believe early on it’s on offer I won’t say exact the price now because they always change and then the video becomes out a date but at the moment it’s definitely under a grand and there’s a lot of Kit so in this video we’re just going to have a look at what it’s got quick first ride and then later down the line we’re going to get a full review but it looks very nice indeed let me tell you more about it so as you already saw this battery here is a 10.6 amp hour battery and then inside here we’ve got another battery a 15 amp battery giving a total of 25.6 amp pivi reckon that you’re going to get 200 km of range on this obviously decent conditions and all the usual stuff but 200 km and what help with the range is the torque sensor because what the torque sensor does this bike’s got a torque sensor it detects how hard you’re actually trying and based on that it will give you a bit more power so when you pole in along you go a bit faster than normal bike but not Mega fast and if you want to go fast you can just pedal harder now the great thing about that is it feels more of an extension of yourself however if you are feeling a bit lazy then it does have a Twist throttle optional by the way I can take that off it comes with another proper handle that you can replace it with if you don’t want a throttle it also comes locked down to 25 km hour we’ve currently unlocked it and they say it’ll go up to 32 km hour which is about 19 to 20 on the flat just there it got about 25 so it’s a decently powered bike don’t be foed by the nonfat 2.3 in wide 20in diameter tires this is faster than it looks it’s also com fortable if you’re worried that it’s going to be less comfortable because of the non-fat tires but it’s got a rear PIV branded shock it’s got front shocks so it is fully shock shock you might notice some of the design on there it says city city Powers City I think they want you to ride this in the city and it would be ideal in the city it’s got your rear wrap for your luggage or your deliveries and of course it can fold the pedals fold in undo this bring that in together it’s got a little metal thing you can lay on handlebars toy and down it goes it is 27 kg it’s not the lightest but it’s far from the heaviest could you you can pick it up if you wanted to and let’s get it back to normal again let’s bring the handle bars up push the thing around do the pedals EV VOA another thing I like about this bike as with most bikes in this style you do need the key to work it now it’s got two keys that come with it one key for this one key for the battery inside there it’s got three positions it’s got totally unlocked so you can remove the battery just remember to remove the key it’s got locked but no power and then locked and power and now you can’t remove the key but you can now turn it on now that means you do need the battery in here to run it but you don’t need this battery here think of this one as your backup battery another nice thing they put on this bike are the hydraulic brakes any ebike that goes over 20 I think should have hydraulic brakes just because it means any anyone can then get maximum stopping power without having to yank them down really hard so let’s see what it’s like then let’s go now compared to the z20 pro it does feel a lot faster let’s see what kind of speed we get up here obviously the Drone can only go 15 miles now we’ve got 17 18 we’ll probably have to go back for it 19 uh cruise control is kicked in 21 let the get drone catch up then totally lers now it’s got throttle settings where when you’re in parisis zero the throttle works and it’ll take you up to 25ish 20 to 25 it will go to parisis one it’s just a light push parisis 2 bit more up to 14 15 but because it is a torque sensor all the while I’m always doing a little bit of work not loads of work you don’t get tired but you’re always giving it that little bit of help which is why the range with a torque sensor should be better than if you had a Cadence Sensor you can always lower the power of the Cadence Sensor but the cleverness of the torque sensor means you don’t necessarily have to so now in parisis three and I’m hoping is going to be coming here because this bit looks nice there’s Runners I’m going have to wait one a sec oh man there’s more oh and the great thing about having a torque sensor is that it detects that little bit of a push from you straight away the power kicks in immediately but being a torque sensor it’s not all the power it’s like it just gets you going and if you want to go faster then you just push a bit more brilliant it’s very clever there the Drone going to make you through here that’ll do for the Drone so that’s your preview of the z20 max and I can say right now that it’s a really nice bike I think even if you can get it now I can tell the review is going to be a good review however nothing’s perfect and you know me I will tell you if there’s something wrong or there’s something that needs to get better I’m already eyeing those front shocks and wondering if it was worth putting lockable front shocks on but we’ll see if it’s needed and until next time thank you for watching if you want
