Given a second chance in front of the goal, Javier Hernandez doesn’t disappoint. “Chicharito” jumps on a defensive gaffe by Bosnia-Herzegovina in the 92nd minute of Thursday night’s friendly, scoring from close range to lift Mexico to a 2-1 win.

Hernandez, who came in as a substitute in the 61st minute, had blown two chances to score in the 80th minute, including a shot from close range that Bosnia’s Senad Lulic barely managed to clear off the line. But then it went horribly wrong for the Europeans.

Trying to get the ball out of a scrum in front of the goal, Stojan Vranjes misplayed it with an ill-advised bicycle kick and the ball rolled right to Chicharito. The Manchester United striker stepped in front of Bosnia’s Boris Pandza and poked the ball into the net with his right foot, leaving Bosnia goalkeeper Asmir Begovic no chance to block it.

    1. Why you guys hating on Chicharito. He technically saved Manchester United when they were going downhill. Also, he scores the most for Manchester United. I notice a lot of people who do racist comments are American. We both know who always wins when it's Mexico vs. America. Huge gap. Football is about being patriotic towards one's team. That is how all how country's are. I'm pretty sure you guys would be the same if America was actually good in football.
