Sam’s recipe for a good day — Vermont, bikes, and hills.
I’m riding the ninth steepest road in the United States today to test out my new gearing 15 miles in my shifting sounded almost cheap so I stopped and the problem was obvious I did not tighten my new cassette somehow this is what I came here for the last mile of the Lincoln Gap is a 15% grade which means I had a great test of my 3 to four gear ratio at the top there’s also a hiking trail to an Overlook so I trudged 20 minutes in my full biking gear and was not disappointed I asked this guy to film me because I was talking with everybody about my outfit no one stole my bike which meant the ride down continued the best sign yeah Vermont’s pretty nice a quick Maple creamy break and then I hit the middleberry Gap not as brutal as Lincoln but fun all the same the road was technically closed I went for it and my favorite sign meant I went for it really fast to the actual road closure and sure enough there was a bridge 60 M on the day some stats for the Nerds and that’s a wrap

Vermonters calling soft serve ice cream “creamies” is wild to me
if that’s a mtb cassette on a road hub you might be missing the 1.85mm spacer at the back of the cassette
53 max speed LAWD
Your videos make we want to be nicer to bikers on the road that don’t use the sidewalk.
