welcome to the football filling as usual alongside me today I’ve got super Dave Watson we’ve also got big Chelsea fan s obaseki is absolutely buzzing after they battered West Ham 5-nil at the weekend uh talking of batter Ino Liverpool put four pass Spurs we asked the question hasand finally fully fully been found out Arsenal and Man City just Relentless and finally ipswitch Premier League well done what a story it’s a football fil [Music] right Super Sam we got to come to you first then um Chelsea talk to me about your boys in blue it’s almost like they’ve found their form about 33 games too late but incredibly they could still make top six couldn’t they yeah they can but I’m not getting my hopes up just yet like when I look at the table I think you know it’s possible but I’ve looked at the table multiple times this season where I thought we could pick up points we could be in the top six Sheffield United draw Burnley draw and then boom yeah and then the five no loss where where has this come from though because we we did something together last week and you were like I’m still not fully sure about Po chatino and since then they’ve won about three games 19 N they’re on fire aren’t they it’s weird though because he’s made a change in the formation bringing Kara into an into an inverted role yeah a role that we’ve not necessarily seen him in at Chelsea before seen it in different clubs and you’re thinking could it work he’s put him there and everyone just looks better like Kao looks 10 times better I think Enzo coming out when he’s been injured for six or seven months is definitely played a part because you know Hern I’ve never had such an experience but they say it’s the most one of the most uncomfortable things that you could do while you had a hernia before yeah they’re brutal aren they brutal really so but how how does he still play through it is it something that they they can play through or kind of man it you can kind of manage it and it’ll be on like pills it’ll be on anti-inflammatories you’ll have injections and stuff like that but it gets to a point where especially if it’s like these bad boys here right eventually it gets to the point where it bulges through the muscle the muscle bulges through the lining so much that it presses on a nerve right and the ner oh the pain Sam honestly it’s like an inferno it’s like an inferno mate and it gets to the point where you go no I can’t do it anymore so but that’s what I’m saying like obviously pochettino I can understand he’s had injuries so he’s going to try and play players that you know he trusts and things like that but I think if he’s injured been injured for six seven months surely you should say okay cool we look all right with cedo gagar and every time they’ve played since I think we’ve won twice drawn once came back against Villa as well like those type of performances it’s that okay we would have been fine without him if he wasn’t there now everyone’s questioning whether he’s good enough and but that’s another conversation I think Chelsea currently can do it but I’m not saying anything just yet just because i’ what I’ve seen this season WTO um with this strong finish to the season possibly getting top six is po chatino going to be the man for Chelsea next season then yeah look he’s he’s for sure the man last uh season disaster I thought when they brought him in he was a man for him I think he’s a phenomenal coach a lot of people did though In fairness a lot of people thought this experienced manager coming into like a a squad of young players is exactly what they needed didn’t they but everybody’s giving him the credit now because Chelsea have finally stuck with a manager but it’s not the season yet but they’ve stuck with him but he’s the one for young players that’s what I thought I said at the very start of the season on this show they were my dark ERS to even get in the top four I thought they were going to be a phenomenal team with him in charge with these young players no European football I thought he would have done more than what they’ve done yes they’ve had injury problems a lot of the teams have but I think he’s the real deal as a manager and I think these players are now gravitating towards him and I think if they have a good summer in terms of recruitment Anything could happen with them but they’ve got a finish strong and I believe they’ll not get you know I don’t think they’re going to catch Spurs to be fair to them but I think they’ll get European football and then it’s the big question next year is the UF for conference a hindrance or a help to him yeah it’s it’s tough though because like like you said before poch came in everyone was saying he was the right man because of the the age of the squad you know the timing of him coming in but All Season there’s not really been that consistency that fans could like latch onto so there’ll be like one or two performances where you say ah they were great against City they were great against Arsenal in the draw but then you have the draws against Sheffield United against Burnley the losses against brenford not in and Forest and you’re questioning like where’s the consistency what type of football is he trying to play and yes you can say you know this the injuries has affected what he’s been doing but preseason he did try the inverted role with the the left backs inverting and the back inverting and then Inu got injured and obviously first game against Liverpool and everyone’s like okay cool you’re playing one of the best teams you might have to do something different but I think because that game was such a good result in terms of you know finding out his team getting a one-1 um draw I think he stuck with it when he initially wasn’t really trying to do that so fans are like like be brave you know we know what you’re trying to do we know the players are there and and that’s what one thing you can say now that you couldn’t say last year we’ve got Cole Palmer Jackson who’s been in my opinion I think he’s had a very good first season in the Premier League people comparing him to you know Darman nunas gabier Zeus this is his first season I believe he’s 22 years old scoring double figures in the Premier League that’s that’s a good Fe what do you reckon for Jackson do you do you reckon he’s good I think he’ll be I think he’s kind of symptomatic of the of that Chelsea team in general really a bit little bit inconsistent kind of hit and miss you get some real good performances and then you get some not so sure you look at sort of Chelsea’s last four games in particular got absolutely pumped by Arsenal and then they bounced back back with a great draw against Villa beat Spurs and then they absolutely pump West Ham that’s kind of that’s Chelsea in a nutshell isn’t it you don’t really know what you’re going to get from it and that’s what happens when you got a load of young players yeah that’s what I would say like Po chatino I still think is the right man and he’s the right coach for them young players but what you have to accept is as a Chelsea fan you’re used to winning all the time for sure but when you’ve recruited such a young group of players you don’t always get that level of consistency you’re going to have the roller coaster bit and poino is the man to get him through that I don’t know and maybe just this year just give him this year and maybe they’ve all bed in a little bit you guys are convincing me are you Pino out still then no I’m I’m get Europe and I believe he deserves another chance but I think with the squad that he has and the way the premier league has been this season with the inconsistencies in every team that’s basically outside of the top three you should be in that conversation and now obviously he is so you can say okay cool you should give him another chance but a few week ago it didn’t look that way you know he was winning drawing after after the Arsenal game that Arsenal game was a big one for Chelsea fans wasn’t that it was pathetic is hurt that hurt I think that was that was the worst loss I’ve ever experienced as a fan after after I think it was the 85th minute I just went to my bed I said you my head was so hot I was getting messages from like 50 people from on every platform it was the worst thing ever and obviously you bounce back from from that and it’s one game three points whatever but that’s a game that you want Chelsea and like Chelsea fans take pride in you know we’ve always been the biggest or in of recent years we’ve been the biggest Club in London so seeing that momentum shift was hard to take but I think the team bounced back well and hopefully if they do you know see out the rest of the season get European football I think he deserves In fairness they did bounce back they’ve had some fantastic results one of them was against Spurs we’re going to talk about Spurs in the minute actually because they are on a stinking run before we do though W you watch this Chelsea game I’ve got to talk about West stand because wow talk about a team just basically giving up they did they gave up they didn’t try a leg really did they yeah it’s certainly not a David Moyes team uh or a David Moyes team’s performance um and actually with Chelsea playing on the Thursday night you’re thinking that if West Ham attacked that game and you know went for it full throttle and showed some real energy and legs that Chelsea would have crumbled a little bit because West Ham have been used to playing on a Thursday night and the know the detrimental effect come Sunday afternoon so I was surprised that it was so comfortable for them look I think they got knocked out of Europe two or 3 weeks ago um and I think they’ve been in Europe on a Thursday night for the last two seasons and and I just think it’s the whole thing mentally and physically it’s catching up with them and right rightly or wrongly I think they they’re virtually on the beach now I think they’ll be happy for the season to finish top 10 finish no Europe next year and potentially for who whoever may be coming into be manager at West Ham if there’s going to be a change it could potentially give him three weeks to to do some work on on the training it’s a shame to see though cuz someone like David Moyes you know such a great sort of name in the game you know a lot of respect for a guy like that and then to see the team just going down with a whimper really it’s not nice isn’t a lot of West Ham fans absolutely fum him with it all as well the thing is it’s it’s tough because you look at West Ham last two years and they’ve achieved great things you know playing European football back to back but maybe we’re underestimating the the the biggest Factor here and that’s losing Declan rice in in the summer they made a few signings which were good but we seen how much of an impact he’s made to the Arsenal Squad so why are we not giving them you know a bit of Grace when you see a player like that leave a squad like that when he’s their Captain he’s literally the most consistent player in that Squad that I think David Moyes deserves at I know some of the losses have been bad yeah but I think he deserves a bit more grace for for losing that player and still being in and around the European conversation I agreed you know what I totally agree with that because de R is a worldclass player yeah when you lose a worldclass player it doesn’t matter if you buy two or three very good players that can play in that position or fill around it you’re still not replacing a worldclass player it’s as simple as that so it’s not going to work it’s not going to be the same um but yeah it’s just a shame it has to end like this then right then come on we got to talk about Spurs um oh luky boy our editor Luke big Spurs fan he he is absolutely fuming he’s coming this morning he said I can’t believe anes this and it’s just absolute disgrace um W what is it what what what has happened to spurs why have the wheels fell off so kind of spectacularly over the last few weeks I’m I’m not so sure um I I just think this game it’s the one game where I thought they’ve lost three on the spin yeah away at anfield is a tough game they’re a pressing machine Liverpool and yes I love the way our Tottenham play try and play but against Liverpool Sunday afternoon long day long day at the office you going to give up too many opportunities and there were times where they’d suck Liverpool straight onto him they could have gone long Vicario especially and they had 3v3 at the back even overloads because Liverpool were just pressing so high because Spurs were never playing the long ball to expose them and I just thought they played into Liverpool’s hands to be honest with you and let’s be honest it were 4-0 it could have been 5 six or seven and it were only the fact really that Liverpool took the foot off the gas and that Tottenham actually made the score respect the score line actually flattered Tottenham a little bit to be fair those two goals kind of absolutely and and actually I think potentially one of the saves of the season is Gomez’s clearance because like Allison makes an unbelievable save but like our Gomez got his foot up there to stop what Madison on the oh my God incredible but if he nods that in you never know with football and that was the crazy thing but look Liverpool pressed the life out of him got so many opportunities and I just think Spurs fell into the Trap of not having a plan B at that moment now and I know Angie’s going to say I’m living and dying by I don’t want to play football and it’s fantastic it’s really exciting but sometimes it’s hard to beat the Press because you’ve got everybody flying in and you’ve got to have two or three exceptional moments and then yeah you’re are you’re at them for sure but you’ve then got to take advantage of them moments and even on the two or three occasions they broke the lines they didn’t look to really kill Liverpool off Sam were you surprised to see uh mosala start after after what happened last week with jgen klopp no you know cuz I think I think klopp wants to end he’s like reain at Liverpool on a high and I think that that would have just distracted everyone yeah obviously you see it wasn’t a good thing to see but it does happen with top managers and top players they sometimes have disagreements moal didn’t want to be coming off the bench in the last 10 minutes klopp doesn’t want to be in a position where he’s not fighting for the league anymore after talking about it for the last two months so you you you get their frustration but I think they handled it really well and him scoring straight away and he looked a bit more like happier to play maybe yeah this old yeah yeah but that might be because the manager is leaving in two games well that’s the thing like you you’d expect this from Salah obviously he is their best player and has been their best player for the last few years but I think he’s running he’s probably been disappointed in himself he knows the Liverpool fans have not really been excited about his performances especially against um Everton where he barely had any chances and for me I think it’s it’s been tough to see how they’ve adapted to him he’s still scoring goals but you can tell he’s kicking on a little bit and I think they’ve had to adapt to that and say okay cool we have to give Harve Elliott a few more minutes and he’s doing really well we have to rely on um Darwin Yun and and Diaz and GPO and those players haven’t really performed to that level which is obviously frustrated him a little bit more but I think him scoring the goal now and and them having that performance the Sun and shine in at anfield which is a rarity in itself exactly exactly so I think I think they were they were happy that they got the result and now that conversation about crop and Sal is like completely open you got to think as well like look at Liverpool from a couple years ago the likes of you know you got your firmino s man MOS all firing it’s a trio of absolute Doom when you come up against them the players that they’ve got to replace them again we’re talking about worldclass players when we spoke about de if you lose a worldclass player like man even Roberto firminho I thought was super underrated double underrated it’s really hard to just replace them like for like isn’t it you can’t go out and just replace world-class players with another one it is virtually impossible to do so it’s going to take a little while um jave ‘s performance oh double impressed with harell of the weekend I think next season he could really come into his own couldn’t he yeah look he’s he’s really pushed on towards the end um with the Euros coming up England or all the teams now I’ve got three more players to put in your Squad what do you wrun little dark he play that where does he play though the only thing this is the problem with think with so many players that play for England at the minute is I don’t think any of them have a real set kind of position where they I think football has changed so much though now that it’s not really like that is it it’s all about like moving around and evolving and revolving and you play on that and then you come inside and then you’re out on the other wing and he’s just hard work is it he’s a good he’s he’s just a good player you could but I I if starting like I’ve been saying for the last few weeks he deserves to be starting for Liverpool but I just don’t know where like if you he when he when he plays just forward but put there he creates chances he scores goals the goal he scored was just incredible and he’s growing in confidence but I think now his next step is to like stamp a position in that Squad like am I playing in the front free am I playing in the Midfield free but yeah I think he’s he’s going to be a player that the next manager is going to say okay cool we’re going to give you more minutes and we we need to see what you’re about right and before we move on to the big boys Arsenal man city um quickly and po coo a lot of people saying he’s been found out W um is he all right is he GNA be fine or does he have to sort of tweak it a little bit no look for for me it’s been a breath of fresh air to the league and what they did at the start it’s been a shame that the fall off and the drop off’s been so so big towards the end I think they’ll they’ll hang on and finish fifth for sure um for sure for sure he said for sure I think they’ll hang on I think they’ll hang on I think they’ll just have enough uh and may maybe they’ll throw the title race up in the air and get a result against City you know what it is though I think we saw this from an earlier on where the the Chelsea reverse game where went down to 9 men and everyone was praising them you know playing The High Line still pressing they still lost the game this it was honestly one of the only games I’ve ever seen a team lose by like that and getting praised for how they played but people some people are questioning like why why are you still getting praised you should have adapted a little bit you know gone a bit deeper a low block but he didn’t and he said I’m going to stick to how I’m playing now he’s doing the same thing and you’re seeing like teams are starting to work out how he’s team set up is that the pundits as well the media kind of the way that different now the energy different they’re not yeah they’re not giving it that oh it’s great to see him stick by it and die by it now it’s like no you have to adapt a little bit here you know you got to read that situation in game and you got to adapt to it a little bit as well I’m with you I’m with you it’s going to be interesting for spars I’d say um right come on then let’s talk about Arsenal fantastic win for Arsenal it’s that time of the Season again where everybody expects them to start sort of crumbling a little bit and you know Years Gone by that’s has been what’s happened but Relentless at the minute yeah look there were big moments in this game and we fed up about talking about V but surely it played a big part in in let’s talk about it then go talk about it before we give a goalie perspective yeah this is what I want to hear right want to hear your view on this Sam okay I want to hear kind of like the neutral fan the kind of like let’s just say it for what it is the kai havoc’s penalty situation um talk me through how you saw it I think it’s soft yeah I think it’s very soft but you can I can see why it’s given like that doesn’t mean it should be given but that’s the thing I I’m at a point where I don’t understand what they kind of want for from certain players in in those positions a goalkeeper good going to come out he didn’t really make contact with him k k left his foot in and the referees bought it you hear that in football all the time but it’s like who whose side are we on who are we giving the grace to like I don’t think it should be a pen but if it was me and Kai was my player I’d be like oh that’s that’s a penalty so I understand it but from a goalkeeper’s perspective it’s it’s tough man it’s tough I like that that was a nice little balance very safe very that was it was good for for me and you’ll know I think it’s uh very black and white for a goalie yeah in that situation if you go to ground and you don’t get the ball first then I think you’re risking all it’s like when a Defender just dangles that leg Yeah and I know it’s really soft but I think I don’t like the fact that he’s come with his foot if if I’m honest with you I think that were a moment where you driving with your two hands or one hand if you want to flip it away and you your momentum is going to take you through him yeah but because you’ve gone with your hands and you’re leading with your hands and you’re coming through the momentum of the ball as long as you get in there first you’re less likely to give a penalty away I think coming with his foot like you’re a Defender and not being there just give Havoc the opportunity asking for trouble basically asking for trouble and I think we talk about decision making as a goalkeeper a lot of the time and I think there he had to go attack the ball is spreading and blocking as though havit is going to take a shot yeah and that delay has allowed aat then to Nick the ball past him and take the leg so I thought it was a penalty because I thought Travis made a poor decision but then I I look on the other side of it and I do think ry’s fouled in the buildup to yeah for sure he nudges him and as a goalie it just changes your momentum but the key on that moment there for me is that CBA pulled the guy and VA I never looked at it never saw it because actually I would have G the foul but I would have had his penalty because I think which was firsto I think it was kind of at the same time almost was I don’t even think they’ve looked at it Ben that’s my take I think they’re so embroiled because the refs give a foul on ryer that they’re just checking that and I don’t think they’d really seen the other action yeah yeah yeah and that’s what which is understandable because that’s where the ball is that’s where the action is so they’re looking at what will impede that’s why Iola is Going Bonkers on the side because he’s they’ve all got the screens next to him so he’s watched the action and all he’s seen he Cela taking a shirt and they’ve not looked at it so Sam was shaking his head a minute ago as soon as you mentioned salanki sort of giving Ry A little nudge and he was like no I I get it look at the fou you got against your at Villa the other week exactly yeah exactly the same it’s not a million miles off it to be fair okay yeah but that’s what I’m saying I’m confused thing is we all are only only because only because we’ve been in this situation right when you are on the ball only from David reyer and you are transfixed on that and you know you have to take a couple steps to go and then you’re about to take off as soon as somebody gives you any kind of nudge contact no matter what it is right it will just knock everything off all your senses your balance everything just goes all over the shop and you end up doing something that you didn’t want to do right the problem I’ve got with it is that sani’s eyes are only on David ryer salanki is not looking at the ball and he’s not trying to attempt for the ball he is literally transfixed on trying to get him off balance and I think that bit there is a bit where I would go yeah I think that probably is a foul then again though it’s probably a bit soft and if that ball goes in the back of the net and I was in goal I’d be thinking oh this is going to be a 50/50 one but I agree though that the Travers one on Kai hits this is my problem with v I think it’s 50/50 I do I think it’s 50/50 Kai havitz is the one that made contact with Travis Travis didn’t make contact with Kai havitz he’s left his foot in there anybody that’s played the game would know that Kai havs was playing for a penalty there it’s as simple as that if if you put that situation into real life and there wasn’t a goalie there he’s quite literally just gone and dived over but this is the problem I got V is cuz somebody has to make those 50/50 calls instead of leaving it to the referee there and then to just do it somebody’s made that decision and that’s a bit that I worry about a little that’s what makes it worse though because you we’re seeing the angles from like so many different angles and they’re literally fixed on the screens yeah they can see it so many times and it’s like with those things W it’s kind of 50/50 I think they just need to come to to terms of either in those situations you favor the keeper or you fav it’s always know if the player is touched a little bit you’re favoring the player if the Keeper’s touched in the air you’re F but because there’s been so many inconsistencies we’re like ah that was given the last game so surely it would be given or that wasn’t given the last game surely it would be given so it’s it’s it’s too tough to like we have it all the time but look we V played a big part in in in the outcome of the game in terms of G giving a penalty and then not potentially giving Bournemouth a penalty or a goal at that end the reality for me is Arsenal played really really fantastic they deserve to win the game and maybe we shouldn’t be so critical of the v in terms of influencing the win because Arsenal deserved to win the game and 3-0 probably didn’t flatter him to be honest with you uh if we take it on a year from last this time last year they’ve kept the momentum they’ve kept things rolling and ultimately they are putting Manchester city under a little bit more pressure than what they’ve had in recent times uh two games remaining for Arsenal then Man United and Everton can you see them dropping any points in that I see this is me just talking as a Chelsea fan so I’m going to be honest with you I want them to lose hey at least you’re honest at least I want them to use lose to United I don’t think they will though I actually think that there there’s a storyline Shi in somewhere I don’t know where City I’ve pulled it for you big and is GNA sort it you reckon big Andrew is going to I don’t know I think it’s going to be against Fulham there’s just something about that game FH Fulham at home at Craven Cottage or problem they are a tough place to go so I think Arsenal I want them to drop points against United will they probably not I think this is probably the well it is the best we’ve seen Arsenal they’ve been so consistent I wanted us to be the team to throw them off a little bit we didn’t as everyone you know what I mean I think we even gave them more momentum to score more goals so I think Ed is going to go through to the end season score goals not concede much but I think City a fullham game even Spurs a draw because all it needs is a draw drop points they just need to drop points which brings us nicely onto man city um Erland Highland just the um just the four goals at the weekend May the fourth be with you absolutely perfect um wow that’s nine hat tricks in less than two seasons for him Man City there it’s just you know what’s gonna happen don’t Time of the Season city were really comfortable um obviously difficult place to go as we know wolves get give it the best they came up against Highland on the day but we’ve just had the discussion there talking about V how is the first penalty a penalty I know in football terms right it’s across Ani is not in the greatest position but he trying to clear a ball when some and actually he gets flattened yeah he gets flattened it’s a weird one though and how is that then given as a penalty Three Man City is good to the referee and I know he can go to V and the all Shar penalty he goes oh yeah penalty it’s the do you know I know what you’re going to say but he never went to the moment of the law though is that uh gradi got the ball first he won the ball even though it went about seven yards up there to Red he won the ball first I agree I don’t think it’s a penalty but then you look at the other penalty that got given and the ering Harland one where ering didn’t try and claim for it whatsoever and as soon as he saw it I felt that’s a penalty well that’s definitely a penalty there wasn’t even a question about it what do you think about the the first penalty though it’s it’s when I saw him blow I was like to be fair it did look like a serious coming horrible so so I can understand like you’re seeing it obviously gavardo he’s rolling on the floor he’s won the ball first and it looks like they’ve collided strong it’s that not similar to the Arsenal um the one that Dean Rice gave away against Spurs yeah that would that would a proper kick in the yeah but it’s more of like the impact after the ball’s gone if that makes sense so I can understand it in that sense but when you look at it again and that’s why I don’t know if the V could say is that just not coming together or is I think we need to be careful that any contact in the Box nowadays it’s penalty it’s and not every contact should be a penalty if you put that actual incident somewhere else on the pitch I would say that the Wolves player would get the decision more times than not I would think he would be the one because I think it would be deemed as kind of OV exuberant or too aggressive from gardio I really do I think that’s what but because it’s in the box as soon as it’s in the box if you get that first touch on the ball and you’re the where you think right lad we got to give it everything we’ve got today we’ve got to give it a real go if we win today it puts pressure on absolutely everybody they went and just got absolutely pumped didn’t this result were the one that really surprised me this weekend because I’d seen Burnley at Man United last week and I were really impressed you were Buzz really impressed with them and I thought because of the Run that’ been on this game at home like it can really drive them forward but like the home form they’ve only won two games at home all season and that’s the really going to be the reason why they go down but like it really surprised me but fair play to uh Newcastle I think the weathered the storm first 20 minutes and then after that there only one team uh going to win it I think the front of the team Isaac Wilson just passed bids his record so I think he’s only got 100 to go to catch Shir so uh just the 100 just the 100 um the front of their team Gordon Isaac Wilson played really really well real threat Murphy creating chance after chance um I think Newcastle obviously I don’t know whether they’re going to be disappointed because obviously last year they got in the Champions League I think the Champions League took some steam out of them early in the season I think I think if they can get European football again I think that’s that that that’s a good season for him to be honest with you for Burnley uh unfortunately I think that that’s probably the the end of their road yeah yeah the one thing I would like to add for um Newcastle it would nice to see Pope back on the bench and hopefully he fit well and maybe maybe they’ll give him a game before the end maybe get a game and then have a nice little summer off don’t worry about the Euros Nick just get yourself ready for next season I think he he’s been a massive Miss of them Alexander Riser though 20 goals for the season we spoke about him on the Premier League Rising Stars show last week Sam um that’s another good season for him is this really really good season he’s he is incredible he’s an allround Striker but I think their their front line has kept them afloat this season cuz they’ve had so many injuries even K Wilson being injured I think ASAC even though he’s been injured at points I think he’s come back in times where they’ve needed him the most I think Gordon deserves so much what a season credit for what he’s done this season like I I saw an interview with him where he was talking about the expectation that he has puts on himself and the speculation before he was linked with Chelsea and before he went to Newcastle and he just seems to love it so much you can you can see that he doesn’t listen to anyone all the noise around him he like no I’m going to be a baller regardless of if you sign Harvey Barnes and you want him to no I’m going to be starting I’m going to create chances I’m going to score goals and I think he’s been I think he’s been their player the season he he might be the first name on the team Sheet you know Anthony Gordon he might be the first name on that team Sheet I would think so and I think the the fans have obviously gravitated to him because he’s the kind of player who would be first on the team Sheet because he gives it everything and obviously new all fans love all that but Newcastle have an affinity with the the the players and now they go about the bus oh if you show a especially St St James’s Park but but looking at it um just for England in the summer I think Wilson is a goal scorer I think we have to take him as a as a finisher you know what I mean wow that’s a tough conversation cuz um Tony hasn’t scored in these last I just come back from Watkins I think Watkins will go just cuz he’s but those two now I don’t know I think Wilson he’s always kind of just been a little bit overlooked just because of his injury record and the thing is I think for Newcastle they they kind of work his week so that he’s ready for the game on Saturday he probably has a bit of a Down week really sort of rests and recovers because he is very susceptible to injuries and I think that’s the problem when it comes to England the players that aren’t going to be on the pitch on the Saturday afternoon or 3:00 kickoff or whenever it comes you need the rest of that 15 Squad the rest of them players to be at it in training you need them every day to be turning up to training to keep all the morale going to keep the the standards high and I just worry that Callum Wilson won’t be able to do that for G South Gage you know what I mean yeah Tony’s not about at pens is he exactly how incredible is this that we’re we’re trying we we’re talking about picking a striker just because he’s better at penalty it’s mad is it it is absolutely mad uh right at the other end of the table then Nottingham Forest who I think it looks pretty much certain now doesn’t it it looks like we’ve got the three that are going to get relegated the three teams that were promoted from the end of last season um look like they’re going to be going down um Forest massive win for them but you know what I’m a little bit disappointed with Luton I really am like all season long for for about 30 games I’m looking at I’m thinking I think you’ve got enough here I think you’ve got enough you can pull a win out of the bag you score goals you really do go for it they were the one team out of the bottom three that I thought yeah I think you can go and do this yeah but then in the last five or six games where it really matters where you really have that opportunity to go and do something it’s like they’ve just kind of Taken their foot I I guess a bit I think it’s Ado getting injured Big’s been a huge Miss for them I think when they play well they’re play into his strength as a forward I think Morris is good but he’s just like I don’t think they have like consistent forwards and obviously you’re not going to get that when you just come up from the championship but I just think the way adabo plays and the way they play you know getting the balls swung in from both sides they it’s perfect for him and we saw exactly what what they missed against the go that he scored against Everton what a what a finish he made young just look like a like a small boy like that was a strong finish but I think it’s tough because like like you said they have had games where you said you know what you deserved more from this game and you have played good football and and look the the their home ground you can see the love that the fans have and how how you know almost romantic it is to play there but yeah man it’s not been enough it’s not been enough at a minute Forest are on 29 Points right and if they don’t win another point which you’d still kind of think that would be enough wouldn’t you you’d think it’s enough just with a goal difference compared to to Luton it’ll be the lowest total anybody has ever stayed up with in the Premier League I they’ve got Hutchinson on loan who’s scored 10 goals in the league he’s really coming to his own but can they keep him for another season like what’s that going to do for him and I think McKenna’s been great I think he’s been a manager that’s bought of lack of breath of fresh air to you know young managers that are coming through and saying you know what you can start in League one and trust me can work you can work your way up yeah true that what sort of players do if need to be signing in what like like Sam said there you need to be a little bit careful don’t you yeah look you you don’t want to sign the mercenaries who you’re going to be paying a a fortune to who don’t embed in the culture the philosophy because to get two promotions back to back you’ve got something in that dressing room and I think that’s a dangerous area where you not been paying massive massive wages for two years and you can really go overboard but look we talk about the front and the back of the team has has to be as good as your budget will allow you but I think at the minute I think if you’re an IP switch Town fan I don’t think you really want to be worrying about the first game of next season what
