Bike Shed | My LBS

This vlog starts with me visiting my local bike shop (Bike Shed), to have a look around and to get my Creo in for a service and to replace my faulty TCU. After collecting my bike, I take it for a ride, to test all the new kit added; it really did feel so much better.
My observations are the subject of this ride. So come along and enjoy another great cycling adventure.

hi guys welcome back and thanks for joining me on my Vlog I’m just on my way to the local bike shop bik shed which is the outer Town store um to go and get my my poor little cre she’s going in for a service and I’m obviously going to have a look at that TCU so let’s go and have a look around up the uh Bike Shop let’s go [Music] open [Music] beautiful there she is [Music] absolutely lovely this is a mechanics this is where all the workshop this is where my bike’s been brought in that’s it the bike’s all in [Music] now yeah so if you want to come up and test ride any of the uh bikes up here whether it be ebike or normal bike but you know who wants a normal bike nowadays but they got a nice little circuit here going around the car park they got nice slope nice slope there look guys uh yeah really really good really really good business here yeah I’m lucky to have this on my doorstep to be fair yeah so there is a apparently there is a solution to the problem that we’ve been having here in the UK or wet wetter countries if you like wetter climates there’s some sort of gel that they put onto the electric terminals of the battery and the harness and uh for the TCU connection so so um apparently that just puts a nice little seal around it and it stops any moisture getting in I’ll let you know when I come and pick the bike up in a few days time see how they get on with it and uh I find out the name of that gel that they actually used so you want to pick it up morning morning [Music] [Music] yeah morning [Music] hi guys welcome back and thanks for joining me again on my ride today um I’ve got my bike back yay she is absolutely running mint I’ve just ridden her for about five or six miles I think it’s about that and uh she is absolutely flying along yeah very pleased with this they done a great job you see I got my TCU back absolutely lovely to have that one back and obviously head tube got new bearings in that and the steering is just so so smooth now yeah what a difference big thanks to Rob at the bike shed uh out Town store for uh fixing up my girl yeah and well please um yeah the out store is a brilliant brilliant store um you’ve literally got everything there you know all all different types of bikes uh you got trikes you got the penny fing you got every kind of uh ebite you can think of and they got a brilliant test track if you want to get up and test ride an ebike for instance yeah brilliant service team just just brilliant sales team and uh brilliant brilliant customer service I can’t say any more than that we have a bike shed at a Town store fantastic yeah a great bunch of stuff up there and like I say if you’re looking for a bike any kit lights mud guards anything like that they got the lot up there yeah bit of a windy chilly day today it looks nice looks nice on camera but there’s a there is a barely cold wind it’s nearly May for God’s sake Jesus but uh yeah this is my surroundings I’m in at the moment nice little cottage up there yeah it’s nice is it so I’m going to crack on with the right side usual guys let’s go and see if we see anything interesting on today’s ride see a couple of uh cyclists up front is it beautiful here got to be be a little bit more careful on these bends because the wind’s blowing at me I can’t hear any traffic coming [Music] thank you [Music] [Music] [Music] amen [Music] h [Music] yeah I got my uh I got my pass pixie on he doing a good job oh [Music] yeah it’s quite interesting uh trying to pass pixie out on the uh on the major [Music] roads I’m in terrible guys I thought I got up that hill so easy that was nice I’m going to take this [Music] [Music] road yeah that was uh quite interesting with the pass pixie I must admit I’m very impressed with the uh with the [Music] results it’s just beautiful around here [Music] guys still Turbo [Music] [Music] is [Music] Oh What A Lovely Lane this is it’s uh I’m headed into a place called Rock Beer [Music] [Music] oh nice smooth [Music] Road oh that’s very nice [Music] [Music] yeah little pass pixie is working [Music] well so many poles in this road [Music] oh [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] W looks like rain’s coming thankfully nearly home God it’s really chilly and windy today right that’s it from me for today’s ride guys I hope you enjoyed that wa goodbye Pete right until next time guys make sure you get out there and ride and I’ll see you on the next one bye for now bye-bye by [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music]
