a doctor could theoretically sever all of the blood vessels in your neck and connect them to the neck of a donor body then the muscles tendons and bones are precisely cut and your head would be fully disconnected the surgeon would then spend hours reconnecting everything in your neck to the donor body and once everything is attached in theory your head would be completely joined to a new body

    1. This is wrong. What about the concept of spinal cord. Plus if it was true, we could still have seen traces of life after someones assasin or murder or even a chance to save them. It's all a FLOP

    2. To be honest, I feel that the risk of this surgery wouldn't be necessarily the process, but whether or not the body or head accept each other.
The immune system can distinguish cells foreign to its own, and the thing about transplants is they're not always successful. So if this were to work, I think the body and head would have to have similar genetics through either a relative (which would be rare, unless there was some legal consent involved), or we develope cloning methods to produce body parts and have a factory of them.
