Who is the extreme right rider during the Jumbo celebration?
Peter Sagan, we thank you for all your achievements, with which you have brought us great joy for years. You are a legend of legends and what you have achieved will be difficult for anyone to repeat!!!
Amazing finish to an amazing Tour!! Now on to La Vuelta!!
5:46 "and Cees Bol got up there, even for a podium, or did he even steal it!"
The legendary words by the legendary Carlton Kirby, commenting from a parallel universe.
It goes so fast!!!!! đŸ˜±
Jonas Vingegaard – the QUIET Champion – not sure there has been a more understated TdF Champion or is that because the media is ignoring him ? – few expected Jonas to WIN this back-back TdF – everyone claimed last year was a FLUKE and when push came to shove Tadej would stomp all over him – but it was a masterclass in racing nous by Jonas – he won or kept it close whenever he had to – who thought that 9 second lead would stand-up over the entire race? – he is mentally stronger than he is physically – unflappable – massiv pressure on his shoulders without Primos and with WVA doing everything to win himself a stage rather than the race – abandoning Jonas more than he should have – WVA is starting to look more and more like a Marc Soler clone – what the hell tactics was Soler riding by ? – fair enough – I can appreciate WVA feels he can win the TdF himself and it is becoming too obvious that he might need to find his own team to pursue that – not saying he can't win the TdF but not sure he has the physique for it – he is a BIG powerhouse guy – most GC guys are higher W:kg – re: he was 3rd in the ITT and lookie who was ahead of him – WVA also tends to be inconsistent and crashes more than he should – Jonas is CONSISTENT day in day out – even Tadej seems to indulge in annual "bad day" CRACK during looooooooooong alpine climbs – Jumbo Visma made this a LOT closer than it should have been – and Tadej made it a LOT closer than it should have been – Jumbo was ALWAYS pulling on the front during the flats and low cat climbs with low tactical advantage burning out the entire team when they were needed – too many times it was 3-4 UAE against Jonas alone and isolated on the BIG climbs – Jumbo seemed poorly utilised and not too many of their riders had good TdF efforts – they seemed flat and tired – not the powerhouse we expected – I would say UAE team outperformed them when it counted on the BIG climbs and only Jonas clawed his way to the podium – a cracker of a TdF nonetheless even with Tadej damaged goods – all things being equal we should have another 5-8 years of this rivalry ahead of us – hard to stay at the top though – just ask Egan "who-he" Bernal – the latest wunderkind to implode – Pogacar SHOULD already be on number FOUR in a row but …. he has WASTED his opportunities – Jonas has been opportunistic and is getting better …
Congrats riders, fans at home are crazy happy, except that.. the Tour is over and it leaves such a huge emptiness behind guys, really huge
Biniam Ghirmay was great, he would have won if he was led out by Vander Poel.
I'm glad Philppsen didn't make it … He was unfair a few times before and in this sprint as well …
I am glad for Beniam Germany from Eritrea
Wonderful
7:47 Jonas looks like a kid compared to his gigantic teammates. đŸ¤£
