Great film, Please may I ask what date of the year did you start out on? and if you were to do it again would a South to North traverse be better to have the head winds on your back? or where the winds from all directions? Thanks
Mate, that was incredible. The video is amazing and the way you have of telling the story is excellent. Thank you so much for sharing it and congratulations for reaching that adventure, really inspiring. Cheers!
Amazing video mate. I went to Iceland for a ride a few years back but route changed so quick due to winds…now find myself looking to head back and do the North South Divide. Two questions: Did you use local buses to get to start / from finish? How many days do you think the route is doable in?
Hey Ruaini! Amazing video, thanks so much for sharing.
My boyfriend and myself are preparing for a similar trip in a few months, and I was wondering which gas stove you used for this trip? and how did you get the gaz? Cheers!
Not sure why you went to Iceland with a sleeping bag that is having trouble with -2 degrees. Also, at the end you mentioned you only slept well in the cabin. Also very odd. I sleep better in a tent than at home.
That's a womdwrdul journey. I joined The Rift to see the Land of Ice this summer. Would like to see more of it after the event. Thanks for sharing this.
Now this is the right way to travel. What makes it soo special is from the uncomfortable wet cold miserable hungry to the perfect days and views done it in Kerry but would love to return to iceland and visit the Highlands in the North of iceland

What a great adventure. I'm sure that will stay with you for a lifetime. Thanks for sharing it.
Amazing trip, great footage.
WOW!
Iceland is just a quarry wasteland. You have no idea what kind of a graveyard you're travelling through.
I'd like to go to Iceland one day and plant a tree. But maybe not.
Beautiful! Going to do something like this, but of course less epic! Wondering how did you manage the camera batteries and memory cards?
Nice one ✌🏼👍🏼
Great adventure, and certainly one of the best Icelandic bikepacking vids on youtube, if not the best. In which month did you do this trip Ruairi?
What a great video and journey. I will share this with Friends and family ✌️👏
Wow, beautiful film! I can't wait to go here, you have an eye!!!
Epic bikepacking journey. Thanks for sharing. Quick question. Did you rent the bike at Icelend or you took your own?
Fabulous.
Do you have strava or gpx for this?

Dude amazing! Sorry I skimmed the comments but couldn’t see anyone asked.
1 what cameras did you use to film everything.
2 what tent pegs would you recommend for a tunnel tent in Iceland?
Thanks dude
