I’m supposed to start working here today. My name is Haru. Our job is to take care of these Pokémon and ensure they enjoy the resort. In other words, you’ll be the Pokémon concierge. The Pokémon Resort. I can’t believe I’m actually here! It’s the first time I’ve felt so relaxed. I want you to make the Pokémon feel the exact same way that you do. Psyduck! The Pokémon don’t exactly tell you what makes them happy, and I have no idea what I’m supposed to be doing. Well, most humans won’t say it to your face either. They say things like, "Take a guess." They’re all pretty interesting, right? This one is Hoppip, this is Mudkip. And the yellow one is Pikach– No, I mean, it’s Psyduck. Now, let’s have another fun day at work! Welcome to the Pokémon Resort! I wonder which Pokémon we’ll meet today.

Ngl, I'm really glad they didn't take the ultra safe route by making Haru's partner Pokemon Pikachu. They took a (even if small) risk on making it Psyduck.
