That was a bummer not to be allowed to continue. We had caught the wrong border crossing. It was for locals and not for internationals.
As a result, we had to make another 10 kilometers detour. Fortunately, the route to the other border was very nice.

It was also nice to take some gravel paths after a lot of asphalt riding. Despite the fact that this is not faster than asphalt roads, it does break and keeps it varied and adventurous. Awesome these gravel bikes! You can use them on all kinds of surfaces.
