This video is the final part of our mega ride on day 3 of our November 2019 dirt bike tour in the Rila mountains of Bulgaria.
After for me quite a grueling day we chanced upon some locals having a bbq and of course the Bulgarians and their legendary hospitality didn’t let us down.
After some BBQ horse burger and some homemade wine and the local firewater rakia, what I thought was gonna be a fire track home, turned into the toughest rockiest section of the day. All of us tired, but all of us in awe of what this amazing country has to offer the dirt bike rider.

All previously too far away in time and in expense to make it a viable destination for most, until now! So many places just a day’s ride from our base in Samokov.
Some you can ride there completely off road, or via some stunning tarmac routes.
