hello and welcome back to the inside Tac with me Freddy Carr we are still down in Barcelona where we’re right in the thick of the action as we hurtle towards the start of the America’s Cup and this week’s theme is around cycla the legends on board the boat that are going to produce the power to get the boat sailing as fast as possible and we are lucky enough to be joined by Neil Hunter and Ryan Todd Hunter so two Hunters here together in a funny old way and two of them have got very Back stories to how they got to this point in the 37th americ cup so the theme of today’s pod is talking about their journey into getting to be a cyclor in Neil’s case moving out of grinding and dingy sailing and in Ryan’s case progressing out of British rowing so lad welcome to the Pod good to have you here good to have you off the bike and actually having a little sitsit and a chill yeah thanks for having us it’s bloody good to have a little break off the bike to be honest right now we are in the middle of our a training block as our as our coach our uh physiologist Pete we’re in the middle of an 8we block and it’s safe to say it’s kind of kicking our ass it’s kind of kicking our ass right Ryan what what are we up to what’s the theme right now in our training our theme is more towards race specific training so quite a lot of threshold a lot of high intensity stuff we kind of left the winter miles behind now and we’re sort of focusing on like those first days of s and getting into that block yeah and there’s a there’s a particular session NE right R3 race Sim just give us give us a little insight of what an rb3 race Sim looks like like a race B simulator it’s like it’s everybody’s least favorite session of the week for sure I mean it’s 24 minutes right and it’ses basically a baseline you’re holding kind of between 450 and 470 and then every 1 minute 20 you’re doing a Sprint to like over a th000 Watts so I mean going through and averaging kind of like close to 500 watts for 24 minutes and yeah at the moment it’s it’s fair to say it’s absolutely Savage you’re kind of pushing that session to the end of the week kind of w you see it arrive and you’re chaining Peaks and you’re like all right cool I’m just going to move that to Friday and deal with it later that’s a that’s a future that’s a future problem yeah yeah which is it’s a bit of a shame really isn’t it so we we as you alluded to Ryan we we’ve obviously got our years broken down into blocks and we’ve had a pretty nice nice winter to be honest of big volume out on the roads riding with the lads having good chat lots of cake which we like and obviously the opportunity to ride with the grenadiers training camps as well how was that mate yeah that was epic wasn’t it yeah it was pretty yeah I’ve done a few now like I mean I guess I’ve done probably four or five last few Winters and like to be honest like the opportunity to ride with these guys that I mean they’re later in the year they’re going to be riding in par R Bay they’re going to be riding in grand Tours and actually just like going out riding chatting to them as we do as a group of cyclers out on the road it’s like unbelievable to like just be riding along have that like behind the scene access to like their dayto day and like them opening their arms to us as well and it’s not only just like riding along chatting to them like the amount that I think we’ve learn as a cycling Squad about training and about like the specifics of what our what our sport is effectively now like training for cycling has been huge so like obviously they’ve got wealth of experience how many I don’t know how many grand Tours they’ve w the last 10 years yeah I I think it’s a 500 Pro win like this week that’s right I saw I saw it on Instagram it’s yeah they’ve got so much experience and a lot to offer us as a team I think yeah cuz for us it’s like we are rowers Sailors we’re not cyclists I actually have that insight and then like kind of look at on the road like we had that Sprint lesson with viviani how good was that yeah that was epic and just for them to take that time out their dat and be like okay these ads are part of our team part of our family it’s cool man it’s really like as well like just seeing those boys lighting it up like when they do their specific s of P like efforts on like I mean obviously a lot of our camps have been in meorc yeah and going to the likes of sakra which is a pretty famous cycling climb that a lot of people know and watching those buys lighting it up up there is like it’s quite something when people are ripping around it on the last Camp I was like completely chewing my hand up as like full red face dripping like almost like full Max effort and nean Bernard just like full bullet train past me I’m like well I can’t do anything like in the big ring I’m nearly crying you’re probably almost double his weight though right definitely double his weight I don’t think you’re getting many 50 kilo cycl kicking around so so we we’ll come back to the training camps because I know you in particular have a pretty funny story there not that funny but definitely a story that actually goes down in for me across the whole of the in your sports group but we’ll get to that but we’re obviously talking about cycling like let’s break it right down to Basics Neil this is you’re a grinder right do you know what I mean and here we are cycling like what what’s the story there mate you you you joined us in the youth Americas cup won that y as a grinder and you also pulled ropes which quite nice bit rope pulling old school and then obviously right at the Forefront our I think our fittest grinder in the last cup and now you’re a cyclist how’s all that bro it’s been a hell of a change to be honest like I mean I guess as you say been a grinder in the last two America’s cups which I mean predominantly it’s very much an upper body Sport and that’s kind of all my training for the last eight years I guess has been towards that and progressing to become well one of the best grinders in the team which has been which has been like massive amount of work and the amount of volume and the amount of time in the gym that that’s taken but then this time yeah I mean we saw the kiwis do it in 2017 with cycla and this time they decided to um track them back on the boat so for the rules this time the kiwis and do to be fair as Challenger of record um have written in the rules that you can have cyclo on the boat so it’s been a fairly massive change in my training I guess but I actually like recreationally had done quite a bit cycling before so like it pretty good already when you like I went all right for sure like I um I did a fair bit around late the weekends and stuff I got on my bikes so come on what’s your so you grew up in Aaron didn’t you exactly little Scotti Island and you have there’s a lap around Aaron that you would do go what what kind of what kind of times are you doing around there well yeah I’ve got I’ve got the Cal at the moment actually I don’t think anybody’s taking that anytime to be honest having a they um no me and my brother when we were like 13 14 we’d go out and try and take as many coms as we could on Aaron but we just be like Comm Warriors early days of straa as well yeah it was Mega I love that when I was 14 I was like playing Tetris on my game boy and your BR out there trying to call you must had some Rivals was there any that you know well I think so more so now like recently straa has become such a big thing and like so many people are out riding now right so a lot more Rivals now and every so often get an email pop up like you lost You’ve Lost Your Cal and you’re like oh man need to go home I need to go home and go try and get it back but yeah yeah got the got the big fuse still like the lap of Aon record yeah no one’s taking nobody’s touching that now now we’re quite well connected at the grenadiers I actually think I’m going to get hold of one of them and get them to go up there and here maybe get ging Aaron have a clue what’s going on would he he be I reckon he’d be pretty confused turned little island with 4,000 people on it what is going on and have you found it like you enjoyed the change cuz I know we had some like training on a grinder for 15 hours a week particularly during covid pretty gritty wasn’t it have you enjoyed the shift to cycling or how does that Lely yeah I think like it’s been a Cool Change like for it’s refreshing I think to do something different and to go into America’s Cup with a challenge of ultimately a complete change of sport almost for me in terms of changing from an upper body sport to a lower body sport so that’s been a massive change but it’s been quite refreshing and coming into this with like yeah relatively low standards to start but obviously a massive upward progression of how quickly you can gain watts and how quickly you can get good on a bike which has been cool and yeah I mean getting to go outside and ride with the lads is it’s obviously know it’s not bad right compared to sitting on a rowing machine for you like it’s yeah it’s a bit different like yeah it’s Mega different it’s just not exactly having that freedom to I guess explore like we’re very fortunate to do that like as our job yeah like away from being we’re not pro cyclist but we still get to live that life for now anyway yeah and like yeah I mean you know what it’s like Fred’s like we sit in the gym for 15 17 hours a week on a grinding machine which is there’s no option that’s all you had to do right so my numic and you go through films you’d go through podcasts and you’d just be there like how did you entertain yourselves that was it we had a lot of like I I really enjoyed it when we had Like Music Quiz days and play like 80s power ballads you had to do the song and the artist they were my favorite days that was good so Neil you you you have sort of grown up sailing your whole life you campaigned 49er with your brother yeah and as I’ve said you you kind of uh joined us and went through the americ you joined us at 18 n like 20 20 so I I did like uh as you say I did 49ers well growing up I did like 29ers and stuff growing up with my brother mostly in Scotland to start and growing up on a little Island called Aon so it’s like super remote not many people so we’ just go out in the bay after school and just like put course in and hack around it was quite cool like we were like our boat handling was always super good yeah you just went the wrong way but we just like never had anybody to race against so is there a Sailing Club or is it just no there is a Sailing Club but there’s not that it’s like pretty tiny yeah I can imagine but yeah so we’ just go out and hack around the bay and our 29er or 420 to start and then 29er and just kind of progressed and I guess eventually ended up sailing 49ers and eventually got to the point that we were kind of getting results and got our way into the British sailing team and into the like uh yeah Olympic development Squad effectively which um so you must have had to move out of iron for that uh yeah moved to wayth eventually um like even even sailing 49ers like we started sailing 49ers just in Aaron like and did all our training and stuff in Aaron and then like go away to international events and whatever and but then yeah eventually got joined the brti sailing team 2015 2014 and yeah did um moved to Amoth did all that and then yeah uh the the fitness test did the fitness which we’re going to come back to so so Ryan we I’ve heard of the fitness test the fitness test uh Ryan so very traditional sailing background like a fairly obvious trajectory to where we are now now if I told you three years ago that you were going to be sailing in the next America’s Cup what would you have said to that mate I don’t think i’ have I wouldn’t have believed youest did you even know what the Americans cup was my first experience to the Americans cup was like during covid I remember I was living at an ex-girlfriend and her dad was watching it right and he had it on the iPad and he was like obsessed with it and I didn’t really know what was going on like I I heard like the noise of the boats but I kind of got into it then okay so there was kind of like Greg s had done it before from I did it with Greg in 20 3 actually yeah Greg s done it before out of rowing and then obviously got TR so everyone sort of knows what it is and everyone sort like oh that could be a possibility like afterwards it’s kind of mentioned that kavish sometimes is like could be an option but no one knows how to get there right yeah and so you’re let’s wind back you’re a rower you you kind of came you grew up in cocka mouth up in the late District area went to University picked up rowing there picked up rowing at University so I went to watch rowing at London games very randomly again wasn’t sure what was going on but I remember had like a talent ID tent there and I was like oh need to be over 6 foot needs to be these parameters and like I was like I could I can do that I fit those parameters but then left it alone because I was like mad into my Cricket left it alone fell out of cricket then just found the RO Club at Uni yeah but much like Neil saying like I wasn’t at a roing university to begin with as that nor reuni and it was Lally like Four Lads in the shed like there was no set up like Rowing Club like we set the Rowing Club essentially yeah like there was tin United was there but we wanted our own University Club so like I sort of met some guys there off the learn to Road program yeah then moved through that and then to progress out of there I was like I want more from this sport Than Just Four Lads in the shed which I’m sure you and your brother did when you’re in Aon like you want you saw like what it could be yeah yeah so I’d like try and work out my head how to get to that level cuz no one from my club had ever done it so I was like I’d go online I’d find all the ERG scores from like the best people in the country I’d like have a spreadsheet of like where I think I need to be right what scores my score literally like month for month just try and tick them off that’s cool so like another name off the list like another name you like a Hit List like a Hit List hit list of it’s like moving up through the bosses in in Mario World or something actually was yeah so like and like I love how basic you made that yeah I love how basically you made this kind of made sense to me that oh if I want to do this I need to be this quick on the Ergo on the roar machine over 2K and like the water stuff will pick up as we go yeah um but yeah so like even Newcastle uni rhen are um stretched and I remember some of their guys are going sub six I got all their scores and it’s like how like how many off do I go sub six kind of thing right let go yeah and then from there you obviously did go sub six as we well know and you joined the British Roar team and moved down to so I moved after nor and I sort of got good at on the water as well and then I got a scholarship to Durham which was massive for me like I had no prospects of going to like a uni like that out Sport and I think for anyone th is two short planks is what exactly what I didn’t know what Duran was at school right um but I think that shows the power of what’s your what’s your motto that’s on the gym wall chopwood carry water chop wood carry water just simple isn’t it just keep it simple keep it simple list of names you want be see the new light here that’s incredible I do like that it’s so simple and I think from that like people like fear Fitness tests right like people are scared of the num I think the rowers don’t but we’ll get on to that here though like yeah yeah but like making it simp my head meant I never really was scared of it like I always knew that I could just progress it was quite a simple thing so that that leads me on to and I’m going to we’re going to talk about fitness test because where we are in the Americas cup it it’s a thing yeah it’s a it’s a real thing at at what point did you go not quite sure about the rowing and it leans to you as well near with the 49er stuff at what point did you go not quite sure about the sailing or the rowing and where my Olympic aspirations are to making a pretty big life decision to have a switch and here you both are at the top of the game yeah good uh well for me like I guess it wasn’t so much that I the opportunity kind of presented itself to me to be honest like I mean with the youth Americas cup stuff and landra would b as it was back then the team this team um basically announced like a youth program and I was like I want in on that yeah immediately as soon as I saw I was like and we were still 49 or so I remember we were in Miami actually at the time when it all got announced and like applications open I was one of the first to put my name down for that and I was like I’m applying for this I don’t know how many hundred people it was Unreal it would have been yeah it was 400 people and then we we did like uh the blind CV thing so cover the names so you had no bias yeah and you took the CVS and I think we Fitness tested the the top 40 because it was everyone was there because they’re a world class sailor at least kind of Olympic development squad or very good kill booat sailor and a lot of that game at that moment was about being physically fit to get a what the ac50 round the water as a grinder and obviously the World Series boats which is like a crossfit games on a trampoline it was full nice bloody good fun though actually but you’re it was Unreal great boats but that’s making me feel a bit nostalgic because we had a winch and a rope who have thought but I will I will remember for the rest if we’re talking about fitness test your fitness test there we had tested about 40 40 youngsters that day boys and girls and there was not really a standout performer and your group was the last test to go through and we were on uh what you call it bik old school they’re very worry they are very wor if somebody’s doing well you can really hear it you know right oh man and this little Scottish kid from AR he said like one word all day you know he been really in himself and he tested well with all the strength stuff and my God he could have powered Portsmouth with his warm effort he knew what he wanted to myself and our old trainer B Ben Williams was there and we were just like this guy this guy and the rest is history right it’s kind of funny though isn’t it like I get people were just kind of around a little bit and you’re like this is literally like I could see it quite clearly that this was a prime opportunity to not only get yourself in the youth team but to put yourself very much in like standing for the next opportunity that came along with the senior sailing team but I was like if I actually just smash this like you never know what could happen like really like you saw that moment as a Line in the Sand and you’re like if I crush this I’m done it’s like that in sport right like you don’t sometimes you don’t necessarily know that that is the chance no one’s going to write it on the wall you like this is the chance you kind of have to identify it it’s kind of funny cuz even after that I think they almost did write it on the wall for me like this is the chance because like so I obviously that was me I was all good like had got to the youth team and everything but it it kind of developed and eventually joh mcth theiling team manager at the time was basically we need another sailor for the America Cup in Bera and yeah and almost just set me a fitness test that was like if you if you do smash this this was grinding rather than rather than on the assault bike and like I done at that time I was 49 or sing so I was always trying to lose weight because we were always big yeah so i’ done I was doing quite a lot of cycling so the assault bike was like kind of all good like I was all over that but gring very specific barely done any grinding at this point and so like yeah and jonno basically said to me like here’s a fitness T like in if you get within like whatever amongst the lads basically and you at the time who’ been training for a few years at this point and he’s like if you get amongst them then we’re going to give you a job and you’re going to do the americ Cup in ber at the time I was 10 years younger than I now he like King of the castle King of the castle and then this little lad comes and I mean went within like 10 wats of me straight away I was like who’s this let’s H and then give him a paint brush and make him paint was it’s proper like it was cool because it was like a real humbling uh intro to America’s Cup world again so you were in my head you were the last proper Nipper which I love you’ve had that schooling crap jobs yeah for sure and JN and MC Beth as I mentioned before it gave me the job but then immediately get to Bermuda and join the BR America’s Cup team and I’m like oh this is sweet I’m an America’s Cup Tor now yeah first day on the job into the into the boat shed we’ve got a brand new boat shed and it’s basically given a paint brush a pot of paint and all the metal work you can see in the boat shed is your job to paint it all so then basically spent the next month the lads would go out sailing on the test boats and I would be in the shed every day for like 10 hours just painting the shed and I maintain that has made you the rounded well measured young man you are today no I totally agree 100% so so Ryan moving to we’re going to keep with the fitness test theme you obviously within I mean I don’t know R overly well but I remember talking to you around it and you thought you’re within a good shout of making a boat for this upcoming Olympics in Paris yeah I’d say I was probably in the like if I was getting the boat it’d be like one of the last seats in okay like it’s definitely like there like the group that selected and I was kind of always a bit behind that curve in terms of like starting late and getting to the squad and stuff yeah um but I’d say yeah boat or in the spares group definitely more in the spares group yeah and you made that big decision that you’re like I’m not going to take the gamble on making the British rowing team for Paris 2024 I’m going to do this opportunity yeah I made that decision yeah that exact decision based on where I felt I was in the squad and what my chances were of making the team and obviously that opportunity cost and to Hest is like a really hard one to walk away from in the end because like I spent the best part of eight years head down like every day thinking about the Olympic dream I want to go to Olympics I want to win I want to be part of tgb yeah and like to walk away from that even though you can see this big glaring opportunity in your face that is ultimately the better option you’re still a hard one to walk away from I can imagine like I spent a good few months messing around being like do I want to do this don’t I want to do this and yeah ultimately I’m glad I have done it I was going to ask that are you happy with your decision how how do you think you how do you think you’ll feel in 4 months time watching the rowers on the start line in Paris yeah it’s going to be it’d be a hard one to watch but like I think maybe not actually that hard like my girl yeah probably not all good don’t worry about Ryan I think I’m all good yeah but like I’m glad I feel at peace F cuz like my girlfriend’s going to go to the Olympics in the eight hopefully anyway like that’s the plan at the moment like I can I’m happy I feel I can support doing that that’s cool mate and that to me that says that like I’m at piece of it yeah so I I’m going to hopefully go and watch a race there if I get the chance to and then yeah I feel like I’ll be happy on the day like there’s obviously going to be part of like I wish I was competing here but actually no I’m going to go and racing America’s Cup yeah exactly and like that’s ultimately sick and like the professional environment we got here like and the chance to be the part of the first team that could potentially win the America’s Cup like we’ never done it with Britain right no that’s and like that was ultimately what B down to like you could be part of the team you’re part of a team that’s pushing towards doing something that’s never happened before yeah and like for me that rold it in the end I love that yeah I love that that’s class all the roarers just like look at Shrek and they’re like I want a bit of that I remember when when it was like oh when they announced the protocol and it was cycling Shrek’s just like shik became like the rower Cyclone manager he was just like just getting text from like every single person in British roow like phun just Absolut buzzing like oh this guy kcks me he thinks he can do [ __ ] he thinks he can do 600 watts for an hour check I’m not sure the recruiter right Sig bonuses but it it was interesting wasn’t it like we I remember so Neil we’ve had we’ve got a unique Cy cycla group where there are four or five cycla with a solid sailing background that have basically come out the last cup and we’re all reasonably fit chaps I include myself in that just qu is going so well isn’t he yeah FR is lit like honest the number the best 42y old in the cup absolutely best 42y old in the country I think get out make me Crush so we got this group of five but then we were aware we needed to get a bit more Boosty power and I remember when we were talking around the initial wats and hey man the moment in time is gone and everybody’s fit so we were looking for people to do 450 Watts for 20 minutes was our non sailing requirement to join the team and I remember you and I would talk about it Neil and we’d be like oh we’re going to get loads of people who can do that and we’ll then just be about the personalities and getting the right people on board but it was quite the opposite creeping around for people weren’t we a little bit like I mean to start as you say we were like I’m sure there’s hundreds of people like you you kind of look around and you’re like cyclists and stuff there’s going to be loads and loads of cyclists like semi-professional cyclists that are going to be to 450 but actually I mean a lot of the cyclists are too small to do those numbers and it’s all about power to weight a lot of the cycling stuff right so actually they’re all trying to be tiny and we want to be 95 kilos be a cycore and ac75 and then yeah I mean it came down to rowing really was our go-to so yeah yeah so we all came Shrek was dialing us all was Shrek was was wheeling and dealing remember so many conversations about it at cavish as well like Matt went quite early yeah Matt R Matt rer sorry went quite early then sort the conversation around like who’s going next like who’s speaking to Shrek who’s who’s texting Shrek everyone’s kind of keeping it quiet but I know there’s more than just me and Harry speaking to him yeah okay must have been getting a lot of calls sh was like The Unofficial like um I don’t know agent of he was literally The Unofficial agent of the R so Shrek would just group all these names together of people and like numbers he thought they were doing and then he’d report to Ben Williams but he wouldn’t really tell anybody else what was going on in the background and then you just turn up at training camp and we turned up a Yorker and a bunch of roarers te up like all right Lads yeah you’re a part of the sailing team you know D now yeah so you obviously you had that much like Neil had his Portmouth fitness test where he lit up the city you had a a moment in Henley on temps where you borrowed someone’s tax bike I put out on Instagram I was like I have to I need a tax well I actually got my mate to put it on Instagram CU all top secret oh my goodness he was like a personal trainer at a gym and he’s like need to borrow a tax turbo training for the weekend right um we’ll give you the details if you have one type thing and yeah I I remember BDubs and got like we need you to do a a fitness test this weekend has to be on a tax has to be done this weekend or we’re going to move on we’re not going to like think about you whoa big moment big moment I also had GB trials that weekend it did you did you do a 2k row and then I did a 5K row up at Boston on the Saturday oh my goodness and I was so I full full gas on that and then woke up Sunday morning like right need to get this fitness test done oh my goodness went to my friend’s house to cuz I I lived in rers I didn’t know I was doing this yeah so I went to their house smash us out in the morning morning like few Double Espresso few new dropic just hammered it out knew kind of where it needed to be sent off thought like that would be it yeah like happy with that then week later still no coms from like inos or anything so I went on training camp with a GB Rose got a call there and it was BBS and he was like oh we need to do a five minute test BBS being our old sorry our old trainer yeah he’s like need to do a five minute test I was like God oh man I’m on training camp he’s like sorry you got to do it so what did you do then so um did you have to squirel away into the room yeah luckily the gym was like away from the hotel at so I had to like wait till everyone was sort of in the hotel like kind of having dinner yeah sort of scre oh no it did yeah that was a different one I did we had the I was on the bike any side of B back and um we were doing like a fresh hold session yeah and the lads were like doing on the front row looking out the gym and I was like when we had bad backs you like cycle in the squat cage yeah yeah so so I was like I’m going to do I’m going to do it in squat cage I can like rest it so off my back and I they’re okay whatever makes sense so I pull my w bite to the back of the gym had a five minute Max effort to do they own I waited till I start their first effort and just absolutely sent it AB send it so good and like one lad was stretching he’s like Ryan what are you doing I was like I’ll tell you later yeah don’t worry about don’t worry about me you stretch I’ll do me you know what that was I remember this day because we were on training camp in meorc yeah we got there and we had a bunch of people triing for us yeah and like some of our current cyclor actually like Skully and Harry yeah Harry was there and Ben Williams basically sent them off up the first climb out of yeah the formentor climb and he’s like you Lads have got to organize it and you’ve got to go and do a f minute effort on formentor yeah and so he’d have literally been comparing your numbers to them to see whether you got a yeah had to do yeah exactly that’s what it felt like there a few of people in line and yeah yeah it was it was actually quite hard to find people wasn’t it like I think I don’t know what we’ have done I think for me like it was like I was trying to stay loyal to the British roome program because I obviously been their system but like as time went on I was like I want this opportunity to go into the cup do you know do you know what stood out to me when we kind of met sort of Harry and James skolik um and obviously Matt roster had signed early but you and I went for a cup of tea didn’t we and well in your case a coffee cuz you’re a coffee snob um and we had a bit of cake and you whereas the other guys might have had a bit of mixed reviews of British rowing you were like I absolutely love it there I really appreciate everything they’ve given me yeah but it doesn’t feel right right now for me and I need to move on and I just thought this kid this blow kid how disrespectful this guy has got his he’s got his he appreciates what he’s had but he he’s ready to to shift it and that stood out to me so for all of this cloak and daggers stuff that was going on it’s safe to say they’re hugely thankful to British row yeah absolutely thankful for I went through there and like it’s made me who I am like definitely definitely I I wish them good look at the pirat Olympics like so my so my girlfriend’s doing it hopefully so my mates are doing it yeah like I want them to succeed ultimately yeah and that that kind of brings us to the World Neil where you and I have only ever worked with Sailors we yeah we and when that when now we’re now in a world where we are trying to upskill these guys into Sailors we have a really let’s call a spade a spade a really kind of diverse group of personalities because I think Sailors produce a particular type of person particularly in the America’s Cup we’re all very sey and it’s been really interesting for me over the last year to have this mix of people and try and get that unit working together as a cyclo unit and then integrate it into the sailing team and then integrate it into the wider Cup team that’s been quite a journey right yeah has been pretty interesting hasn’t it and as you say like we’ve never had a lot of other Cup teams have had nons Sailors coming in in the past and like have had those and I’ve had to deal with like the challenges that that faces because ultimately like you ever done any sailing most of the guys have never really never been on a boat really and it’s like even just logistic my first saying was T6 man like first time I a boat was T6 your first time on a boat first time on a Sailing Boat we sailed and all that was T6 so like filing is all I know really weird all I know for but like for me and friends that’s so weird like we’ve literally grown up like for me I don’t remember not being around boats and stuff you know what I mean and like I don’t like I literally grew up in a sailing family and I’m sure a lot of people did and it’s like that’s all you know and that’s like your whole life is revolved around that so to have people come in from a different background it’s actually I mean it’s super good to have different opinions and a different way to look at things because ultimately it’s like yeah we’re all out very similar molds aren’t we yeah yeah like really average banter you know like we are PE in a it’s been refreshing but Ryan I remember you when again early on when you were learning about the cup you said to me how do like the sailing why thees sailing World feel about us coming in normal day ab but like I actually think I don’t know it’s kind of funny though right cuz like if you are if you were like a I don’t know a sailor that was had his eyes on becoming America’s C sailor you would look at the likes of you and rooster and it’s kind of opened a way in for people right it has but at the same time like I think you’d probably kind of hate the fact that the rers are sailing in the America cup and yeah your first time sailing is on an America’s Cup test boat yeah for a lot of professional Sailors I think that would be absolutely mind-blowing and they’d be like this is a complete joke that it’s funny isn’t it it is funny that but it is funny and I yeah it’s just the way the Sport’s gone and that now like the demands are the physical demands of the sport are so high that there’s no more Sailors out there that could do what we need to do really for yeah you’re right and that’s quite a hard one to accept though right like for like an old school grinder or like someone who’s like loved sport and this is their dream right like as I saying before this is like I don’t know what the comparison raring is but if I was trying to get top raring then all of a sudden like we need someone with these capabilities to come in they’re going to sit in the boat and they’re going to row it yeah like it would upset you yeah yeah yeah for sure like it’s putting people out the job but like I am grateful for the opportunity and I I am doing my best to learn everything about sailing and like I will go out and like do the hopefully do like the nation proud and the sa World proud and that’s like love that as I said I I want to win it as much as the next person yeah for sure and like yeah I hope people can accept like this is just unfortunately or fortunately the way the Cup’s gone yeah it’s not unfortunate is it’s fortunate but then like to kids out there that want to go in the pathway like these numbers can be achieved like you’re a sailor from a like you’ve gone out and achieved them like I started rowing late yeah yeah yeah and like I’ve still trained ultimate I wasn’t training for the cup but now I am but like all that taking people’s name for this like training hard was had led me to here like there still a chance for people to go down that route for sure yeah it’s cool and I think the the cool thing about the way we’ve done it with the cyclo group as well as the fact that we don’t only have I think other teams are going down a route of not having many sailors at all on the boat it looks that way yeah like actually they’ve gone largely into other sports like rowing or cycling and handpicked people that can produce the power whereas actually we have a group of people it’s it’s pretty much a 50/50 split of people that have vast amounts of sailing experience versus people who have produced heaps of power for their lives ex so it’s actually quite cool the way we’ve done that and the fact that we can we can actually have jobs on the ac75 that only people that had experience sailing and a lot of experienced sailing they can they’re the only people that could do those jobs really and I think that’s cool and it’s potentially something that other teams can’t do this America’s Cup I don’t I don’t know I think that I think you make a great point I think that’ll be a point of difference across the teams and it’ll be very interesting to see sort of how how people skin that problem it will be it will be really interesting very good lads well let let’s draw a line under that little section and we’ll move on to one of our regular SE segments quick fire questions okay when I when I’ve done this previously it hasn’t actually been that quick fire and we’ve waffled for ages okay okay we’re going to stick with the fitness team Fitness Test theme mhm your 2 minutes out from a big test that you know will kind of get a bit ranked and looked at by the governor and everyone will see where your scores are at what’s your song y y y Eminem you are man you’re so predictable with that you would have called it like your your playlist when you get going in the gym you flick between Coldplay and Eminem and I’m never quite sure where to go it’s some Journey it is all over the place like it’s one extreme to the other one minute I’m singing fix you the next minute hardcore rap but it became a real feature in the last ACA you do actually real featuring the last AC on The Big Race days You’ sing FL of Scotland to the lads yeah that was actually a feature actually I just sung it this weekend in the I saw it in the Irish it was a good rendition You’ have loved it you got the voice of an angel I do and bloody get it really quite you’re good at sailing cycling grinding and singing a flower Scot no no yeah yeah well done man and I think we’ll bring that back into this cup as well very rousing we’ve got another Scottish sailing team member now as well true I think I don’t think he’s going to sing it with you probably I’m going to be bling it have your K song could you there you go Ryan same question mate two minutes out for a big fitness test You’ be something quite trendy I feel we used to play it for R but I forgot it’s like Credence Clear Water Credence survival I can’t it’s like on that what is that from like last night the proms or something I know you but that’s ridiculous oh man it’s in Forest Gump when they go into the Vietnam War right okay Credence Clear Water survival something like that I can’t that out in fact let’s we’ll play it tomorrow yeah don’t worry it’s absolute clearly it clearly doesn’t mean that much to you I just can’t remember the name of it can you sing it for I got this other one though as well some like my fir like so I usually have like a bit of an intro with Y but then actually I switch so the first like three minutes of my fitness test is uh Kendrick Lamar King Kint yeah that’s right yeah I also look Kanye West Power that you going as well that’s a big classic yeah I’ve got a special playlist I have a special playlist for fitness test and like when you’re doing a threshold session and you’ve run out of juice I have like special John faram you’re the voice probably a bit yeah talking oh that is a classic yeah that’s B it sick that but maybe a little time Credence Clear Water Ral give it up you clearly don’t care you clearly don’t care okay next question because we’re not doing very well who moans the most now we all moan a lot because we we we we all moan a lot this is easy this is so who Mo the most in the Shrek he is like e out of really the Poo isn’t he we give the sh he’s got two young kids under two I’ve got an alltime quote from Shrek the Cornish and Shrek and I went out for coffee the other day Friday actually last week just chatting through sh’s like life issues which he’s always banging on about a few ultimately man’s got Olympic gold medal and he’s ceiling in the America’s Cup for the second time so I think he’s doing all right yeah but he goes to us well Lads it’s fair to say the future is not looking bright we just s there like what are you on about looking great in his defense that day I think he’d been up at 2 o’clock in the morning with young Ruben and he then failed at a threshhold session and oh he’s having a bad day was he he must to be fair this morning he’s actually all good again he’s back on top on top of the world but Shrek yeah he can be a bit moany can’t he a little bit he’ll hate that he won’t like that no he won’t like that who’s the messiest roer roer only because steal so much stuff right it’s actually hard to like manage that amount of stuff because you just steals like gels and stuff so there’s SSS everywhere at our house yeah Hydro does he sell them on eBay the HS did you get nothing at British rowing to no he didn’t get any SAS stock yeah he’s got a stock for at home I’d say yeah he’s he good housemate though yeah if you have to tell him needs to be told yeah needs a bit of guidance needs a bit of guidance you got a three bed and then roer can just put his stuff in there now this one I mean this is absolutely hit tearing this up for you boys to hit it out the park who’s got the strangest diet uh quite a tough one that one isn’t it really hard come on then um I don’t think lei’s eating the vegetable since he probably four or five I’d say if he ever has it’s a bit Grim to be honest like it’s a bit it’s mind-blowing actually it’s mind BL someone needs to come G harsh let’s paint the picture this guy is an Olympic silver medalist he is when we were trailing people to become a cycla in Neil in our eyes he was like the non-negotiable he was he was so fit still is still pushing on getting better as well man lives on rice chicken tomato ketchup and Diet Coke pepperoni pizzas pepperoni is a big hit and there oh um cocoa pops or Golden Balls gold like the five foods he eats that’s about it yeah nothing no colors on that someone really need to come and do study soone need it’s beyond human isn’t it what he does imagine what he could do if he ate like vegetables and fruit and virgin he might just thrown completely out of balance maybe he’s so dialed in yeah he’s so dialed in well I knew well I think everyone on site he’s like a little when the whole team is having lunch together people kind of walk past him marveling it blows everyone’s mind did on the graders Camp as well yeah like when we talking to Dan bigam bigam just couldn’t believe it could he he’s like what’s going on yeah yeah absolutely right so you find yourself in big trouble mhm I don’t know what kind of trouble to be honest but let’s say big trouble in general and you’ve got one phone call for someone to come and help you get you out of that trouble who’s it going to be who’s your phone call to go mate got a bit on here yeah I’m calling you Freds I think are you actually I don’t know I think it depends what the trouble is yeah it’s quite vague on that isn’t itue cuz if it involved like anything mechanical on the tools I’m not your man yeah is and calling beefy if it’s mechanical who’s our kind of drivetrain engineer formul One champion yeah he’d do anything for us as well he be no time say I would have said Shrek before he had kids but now that he’s had kids he’ll just be like no sorry B got to take L Ruben’s going bed now yeah time sorry mate can’t do it Shrek is absolutely cing it isn’t he are we calling Cornish yeah corish is Cornish is a safe saish is like eight out of 10 every day solid depends if it’s was a football game on or he’s waiting for his deliver Cham and he was watching The Gold Cup racing horse racing he wouldn’t answer would he yeah no he wouldn’t answer okay well I think they’re all pretty good answers lad so let’s move on to where we are right now yeah so we’re within six months of the cup we haven’t got our race boat yet as we mentioned at the top of the Pod we are in a really tough training blog but like what else is going on yeah there’s a small group of us um they’re doing SGP along the America’s Cup which obviously makes it a super busy schedule I mean is that good or is that bad how like how do you feel about that to be honest for me personally I I love it because I love to go sailing and I love to go racing so like feel every time you go you have a great time I I love going racing and I love sailing those boats so for me and I think everybody actually you seen hting you but I yeah I I mean I just love going racing and it’s so great going to those events and getting the opportunity to race against the best sers in the world like yeah right I think it and I actually think as a as a group it’s great for us to keep our hand in at racing because ultimately with the America’s Cup I mean it’s been better this time because we’ve been able to go sailing 240s and go racing in house but ultimately you don’t do that much racing against top caliber Sailors until the actual event and racing against the cup Helms right it’s pretty much your Ro there they’re all there yeah exactly so it’s um it’s cool yeah and then we’re straight back into a media week in the UK before that I think one of the biggest things is G Brackley so when you look across how s getting excited about we know you’re going love the media but obviously there’s a lot of uh let’s have a little think about it eling New Zealand and uh American magic all their cycla have cycled on an ac75 we haven’t that’s our strategy but we have got our cycl test rig up in Brackley which is fundamentally nutting out our it’s exact replica of what we’re going to sail on the boat in Brackley in this Formula 1 World Ryan and we’re there next week right we are there next week for what should be our final testing there yeah and that’s been a great toour like I think we got a lot out of that I think at first it was like oh this feels weird cuz it’s just on land like just a normal bike but like yeah it’s been a lot out of that and like they every time we go it’s like different they’ve like made changes and I think just like seeing how much effort theyve put into that and like what’s how much we progressed from like even the first time I came a year ago to rig to what we are now like yeah it’s very exciting it’s pretty cool as well like I guess like the progression in terms of America’s Cup World we’ve seen like the hydraulic tuning and everything from the previous caps and like this has taken it to a new level in terms of having Mercedes Formula 1 involved and the even going there blows your mind every time place in itself you kind have to pinch yourself you’re rolling into like an F environment and being like all right yeah like they’re here for us like we’ve got a whole building here for us it’s pretty cool like it’s to have that backing in the team and like the expertise there in terms of hydraulics and stuff is obviously massive so yeah it’s been pretty useful for us having that hasn’t it I mean in if we if we wind back to the last cup in ockland Neil we went sailing and it took us probably about a month of sailing on the water to get the drivetrain to where we wanted it to be for racing for going into the Christmas cup and this time round all things being well touchwood and all the superstitious stuff we should be minor bar a few tweaks we should be sort of 95% of the way there right yeah we should be dialed I think like all the gear shifting strategies and everything like that I mean we’re just dialing that in on the test RG and hopefully by the time we get the boat on the water like as you said this was this is the last block of testing that we’re about to do so the guys are going to be pulling all this kit off the test rig and it’s going to go onto rb3 straight after this so then when rb3 hits the water hopefully we can get on we’re going to know what we’re dealing with with effectively cuz we’re going to have already cycled in it and we’re going to have simulated ceiling and we’re going to have simulated racing even and for me that’s mass as well like not being on a race boat like to actually know what your cockpit is going to look like know what like your setup is going to be like it’s just like a nice thing to know I don’t know why felt like if I was going grinding and trying to di in the drive I had no idea but yeah it’s nice to have this opportunity do you know the great thing for me is as you alluded to Neil we were we’re a complete hydraulic system in Bermuda we were the first first team not to use a winch with a clutch to move a wing sheet we had a hydraulic Wing sheet so we were we led the way there I think we did a really good job in the last campaign being a single Direction drivetrain with great help from Nigel rosewall and Harkin that got us all grinding forwards all the time I was incredibly proud of our product and now to take both of those things sprinkle a little bit of F1 magic and Mercedes Magic on top and people say oh what does it feel like cycle now we haven’t cycled on the water yet Al but it feels like to me a w bike that’s the level that we’ve got it to it feels like a really a quite well service what bike in a gy which is exciting which is exciting that’s certainly not where we have been historically no cuz before everyone was like told me before it’s like it’s going to feel like you’re pumping oil it’s going to feel gritty it’s going to feel like a square Cog but like that’s not what that’s not the world we’re operating no it’s cool like I mean they’ve done such good especially considering where we started with it I think it’s so D now compared to where it was and I think it’s just going to be epic like hopefully we just launch and touch word as you say like hopefully we just hopefully we just launch this boat and we go out and it’s just all dialed and all good and then we can just focus on the big things because ultimately we’re just there and as long as we can provide enough power to the guys to move everything at the speed that they want to move it at then our job is done basically right and we are the sherpers we are we are we are the sharpers carry him up the mountain he get to put the flag in the but we do it with a smile on our face we do with a smile on our face heads down smile on our face chopwood water simple do you know mate if you if if all Little Nippers listening to this broke broke their life down into little goals like Ryan Todd Hunter does yeah little goals little goals chip away it’s a good way to work actually it’s such a good way to work and I think it’s like yeah it’s a bit slow and like everyone wants quick success but it’s not overnight right you have to give those little goals and like chip away and like at the moment my little goals are like learning the pyo HMI like learning like the Maneuvers like yeah what’s it going to be like like when I was Ill over there to watch all the races like it’s just those little things like getting me ready to like go out and do it you’re a bit of a sailing geek now actually yeah I’m getting Ryan messages me like every other day asking him rules questions I’m like I don’t know R Mozy sales Mozy sales have you been watching Mozzy sales a good place to learn I’ve watch a lot of it’s actually like really good it’s very educational shout to shout out to Mozzy it’s nice to come and then talk to Dylan about what Mozzy said and like seean fler Dylan I call kind of spy Recon man yeah he Lov sailing more than NB in the worlding more than he shouted it a few times recently apparently on the AC4 I I love sailing oh I love Dylan is coming on the Pod and I think what I’ll do deals I don’t think you’ll get a word well I think I’ll ask him one question and then just push my mic away and that would be that to go yeah right lad so so final section of this pod and we do it with everyone obviously plastered up around the base we have our grit riger humor so around our gym actually isn’t it so here’s an opportunity for you guys to give me a sporting story a sailing story an America’s Cup story around those themes have you got a particular story that Springs to mind relating to one of those three words Ryan we’ll start yeah I’ll go with um I’m going go of humor and it’s wasn’t my first sing experience we talk about cuz I was on T6 but a part of our getting saying was we did level one two three sailing course yeah in Picos we’re down at um Berfield Sailing Center won the Andrew Simpson centers Legend Love Andrew instructor was great yeah it was like a great experience but like I didn’t quite get it that quickly and like I was getting the tax and then we moved on to jibes and this the boom as everyone knows in the Picos I’m pretty big for a Pico like I’m not exactly Nimble I looked huge in that thing you look ridiculous um I just couldn’t work out when to duck and this boom just kept hitting me on the head I was getting tired and more tired and at the end I just I just got up and just punched The Boom Like swearing I just lumped it which didn’t help yeah like Anthony Joshua Anthony Joshua me versus boom and you punched the boom as hard as you could as like I was so angry at it God that tricky boom keeps hitting me then someone dug me out had to say on a sailing team meeting Jazz I think like how was how was your sailing experience and Rost is like oh Ryan had the experience with the boom so here am J anley all these gold medist on them yeah I couldn’t couldn’t Jive the Pico so I hit punch the boom luy we don’t have a boom isn’t it yeah look we don’t have a boom look we don’t have to cross the boat yeah exactly you just get in your trench raging at a Pico I was so angry at the that day yeah mate but mate our level three ourway level three you’re going to go ourway level three bit of T6 sailing around at 40 cup I’m sure everyone’s had these experien with booms and yeah yeah when I was about three mate it’s good man like that you know I love that I love the fact that your first couple of weeks here we put you on Coach cam following the boat coach cam so coach cam is the camera on top of our Chase booat where we got our new cycla to follow the race boat and you also had coms on so it was like all the information coming at you and I I’d imagine that was pretty useful right it was really useful to have that coms and stuff yeah coach cam was fun they wouldn’t let me get these edgy shorts I wanted I wanted more like photogenic shorts they all wanted zoomed in videos of sailing but you wanted like you wanted like the black and white kind like filters black and white you know but they weren’t happy with that I was getting like teams messages like from SSR room being like please can you like focus on both boats can you not do a closeup of go the reflection of the S and gb’s goggles oh I appreciate your artistic impression but yeah that was good and like hearing they were doing like pre-ets and stuff that day so like hearing the noise and the chaos of the pre- starts and like then being able to like watch through the Cameo was really good experience for me cuz I think that’s going to be hectic the pre starts well it won’t be it will become second nature absolutely will first two or three times on the yacht will a bit but after that yeah you’ll be good as gold so Choo same question to you the old grit R actually I’ve got pretty good grit story um Shrek and I last uh two years ago now actually we basically we were in a ceiling team meeting and Ben mentioned that he wanted two people to go on this triph it’s like and he was like oh you’ve got to go to Namibia so we ended up going to Namibia with a bunch of anys graduates and Executives which was was unbelievable like such a cool country and so basically it’s it’s a thing that they do every year and they they go to Namibia and it’s basically a 6 day 325 kmet challenge effectively and uh so you start on the coast and you work in land and it’s a mixture of cycling running and walking and you basically yeah you do two half marathons a full Marathon uh a whole bunch of cycling like every day you do a run and a cycle s in sleeping in tense and in the middle of the desert and then on the middle day so the day before you run a marathon you go to the top of the highest mountain in Namibia called the branberg which is 2,500 meters up so like like for I guess like it was a challenge and it was super hard physically but I’m a professional athlete I like it’s my job to train and these guys a lot of them have never done anything really physical at all so like seeing the grit and determination from some of the graduates and anyos exacts it’s unbelievable like these guys are training for well actually the group that we had trained for three years I think in the end because basically Co came in the middle of their when they were supposed to go so they ended up it kept getting delayed and delayed so they’d been kind of on this like started training for it gets delayed keep training for it gets delayed again and they’ve been training for like three years for this trip this week trip and yeah seeing what some of those guys had been through and put themselves through on that trip it was incredible actually like they it’s an epic group and it’s such an epic experience that anyos give to these people and I’m I’m right in thinking that that’s a that’s a gym thing right that’s on the top if you’re going to come and work within the inos family you need to show me a bit of Steel ABS that just shows what sort of company in US is as well like great rig of humor obviously underpins it but yeah like we’re gonna you’re gonna do greaty things like You’re Gonna Go to Nu you’re gonna if you want to work for his you’re gonna have to do this yeah do and you’re gonna have a laugh whil you do it as well cuz I’m sure you had a good time there yeah yeah it was Unreal it was actually the best time I’m so glad we ended up going but like it’s so cool that any us give people this opportunity and I think it’s come from Jim himself actually and he he’s a massive fan of Namibia yeah and he’s done that trip a few times himself I think and yeah it was it was Unreal life experience that I won’t forget for sure Neil we talked at the top when we were talking about training with the grenadiers we said you had quite an interesting story from your first cycling camp with the professional team yeah come on man because it go is that story has gone down in the wider in your sport they talk about when we turn up they give us a little so basically we’re getting towards the end of the training camp the first year so the first year it was just Cornish and I went um because it was like fairly off the cuff like we were just like Cornish and I were going to go on a training campaign anyway just ourselves and we were like We messaged Ben Williams we’re like oh we’re going to go to meor and he’s like oh see if you can go to the granders camp so we basally turn up in January and we’d not been cycling for that long at this point like a few months we’d been training properly in cyclers so we turn up at this graders camp and do a few days we’re pretty gas like we’re like we’re not that great at cycling in this point still grinders at that point still grind I class myself still as a grinder at this point but so we’re like I don’t know we’re probably day seven here pretty and we went for a recovery ride Cornish and I Vivani Luke row maybe Ben Swift and uh we go out to fermentor the unreal so yeah January New York a little Lighthouse ride we’re like this is going to be great we’re going to have a nice little recovery ride and then go home and we’re almost done anyway on the way back from the lighthouse there’s kind of a bit of a descent coming back and we’re pinning it we’re all in a group and these boys are obviously pretty used to cycling BL close to each other and very fast right we’re kind of in the mix somewhere which probably wasn’t a great shot to be fair but we’re in there anyway I’m kind of on the inside of Cornish next to the verge and we’re doing about 50k an hour and I my goodness I’m kind of not concentrating that much we’re just ch and um my front wheel next minute is like on the grass next to me and I’m like Jesus got a bit on here so anyway I was like oh I think I’ll be all good I’ll just try and get back on the road anyway my back wheel’s then on the grass as well I’m fully on the grass Verge you’re committed to the grass I’m doing 50k an hour I’m like okay I’m all good I’m on the grass it’s fairly flat this is all good and I’m like I’m just going to slow down slowly and I’m pretty sure this will be fine anyway still doing 50k hour on the grass next to the road look up and I just remember there was a drainage ditch right in front of me and my front wheel just dis instantly just disappeared in front of me like 2 de dra ditch and that’s kind of that’s kind of that and then I face planted a rock 50k an hour and I’ve still got the scars to show for it but I I remember like I got in the team car shortly afterwards and well like I picked up the piece they picked up the pieces the lad and the team car was with us luckily and they were like right just get in the team car and like we’re going to get to hospital so I get in the team car got like a towel all over my face trying to mop up the blood yeah cuz my nose is in absolute pieces and my Chin’s in pieces Jesus and I go the first thing I did when I get in the car is I pull the pull the um mirror down to have a look and see what the damage is and I remember luk R just being like whatever you do do not do that really slaming the mirror no and yeah to be fair and then on my way to the hospital I did have a look and I was like oh boy I’ve got some on here but I think the grit is that you went out and Road the next day I did yeah yeah I did saob the next day s the next day and they remember that prob to be honest it was probably pretty stupid yeah probably I’d BEP I mean you can’t really land on your head at 50k an hour and not have concussion can you there is a bit but there you go yeah M and they it’s it’s amazing as I said the the inos grenad is still talk about that crash now Ben Swift says it’s still one of the bigger crashes that he’s ever seen and he’s like 15 years a pro you know oh big day for you huge day out a huge day out but yeah and then off to sackal we’ve had a few fun days with them up saak great days on Sacra haven’t we great days them in general they’re here this week as well you kind of missed the early days of sakra though R when like I mean like back in the day when Ben Williams was coaching us every time we went sack lobra it was basically a fitness test wasn’t it it was a race so we’d sit off at the bottom and he’d be in the car watching and it would literally be like nobody wanted to ride on the front of the bottom because everybody’s just trying to like save energy and save energy and I remember the the time that Skelly and Harry came in child with us actually and like everybody like especially those boys they’re just all sat on trying to they want to be the first to the top of Cobra eventually Skelly gets on the FR drilled it he just drilled it and blew himself to Pieces two of the way up he’s absolutely done gets dropped by like 10 minutes oh bless yeah he almost back with me boy and I’m like the broom cart man if I ever ha you going up a hill you ain’t getting a job J you’re not getting that job mate absolutely hey Lads that I’ve loved that that’s been a real I really appreciate like your honesty around your journey to get here like the different the different kind of roots you had to take and and particular you Ryan you talked about having this eight-year dream to become an Olympic lower and then stopping that dead in its track moving over to the America’s Cup and I think a lot of a lot of sailing fans who will be watching that will love how much you are into the America’s Cup I hope so cuz I really am that’s cool man I love that and and Neil like as you said a long way from eight years ago painting a container in Bermuda absolutely a long way from like shed in Iron right true a long way from the sh that’s true of both of you really isn’t it like in your late teens it wasn’t all shining lights really it really wasn’t and you took your opportunities and here we are and here we are nice where are we well you’d 1. Wow Ineos getting an very special set….😁
Microphones with flash cables and they talking like in court?
One normal mic its not perfect enough for ineos GB?

    2. Wow last cup circle was training like cracy grinding….. now its power delivery with legs and. …?
Hopefully this time u not on most worthless boat system?
Grinding or cycling its not important…. only able bringing enough strength over time its important.
Not only bicycle professional needed…. rowers, triathlete or grinders with all trains in body are best for AC boats.
