First race of the European downhill cup once again on the island of lošinj in Croatia. The track was changed a bit from last year but still brutal.

hello viewers um this is uh this is yob definitely um definitely not someone else um I’m going to be uh the host of this episode so um enjoy but no we’re going to lotion hello viewers uh today we are back on lotion we are already at the sea here on the island uh and tomorrow is going to be the first day of the first round of the European downhill cup um yeah I’m really excited like I’ve been feeling really good on the bike so I can’t wait uh the plan for tomorrow is to go go pick up the number plate do the track walk and then do practice runs and we’ll see weather is currently looking better than last year so uh that’s good uh but yeah we we’ll see more tomorrow now we’re going to just go home and rest yeah so it’s Friday morning we’re going to go get the number plate um the weather is currently holding up it’s better than last year so I’m really happy for that maybe it’s going to be actually dry this year um yeah normal plate the collection place thingy is down there and um yeah we’ll see what number I have what do you think Ida what do you think oh oh me um um um um I don’t know 24 Ah that’s to good like 54 uh 62 okay okay let’s see I was closer I got 55 so that’s that’s pretty good once again we’re up here at the top with this gorgeous view probably like the prettiest start high on the circuit uh but yeah I’m really excited to see what changes have been made to the track uh and yeah how stop saying and yeah and yeah what the condition is like um so yeah let’s just go I’m a bike here are the first two huge jumps on track massive and here you have to go like over there the full you have to go here not that where here not that oh yeah don’t miss that they Clos this one this year which is kind of good for the bike it was still kind of fun but it’s it’s better that it’s closed it was kind of too sketchy yeah it’s huge huge go stand next it’s massive [Music] this part is better than it was before I think would be the same as as last year but like it used to be worse so yeah um like so far the track is looking good probably easier than last year oh no it started raining on the same part of the track as last year yeah but it’s not going to be like it’s not pouring like last year so yeah it’s good let’s still let’s go let’s see the rest of the track they wrote on the take off there please go fast you are not slippery it’s okay than then go over the Gap huh go over the gap on foot yeah are you crazy and we’ve reached the end of the track now there’s just like the final jump over the wall and we’ll be done cuz I don’t think we have the Narrow Street down to the Sea um this year so yeah it’s easier than than last year there’s been some changes and yeah I really I really like it so I’m excited to ride hopefully it will dry out cuz there was some rain not as bad as last year it was a little bit slippery but like not not as bad as last year I won again huh yeah go l [Music] here [Music] [Music] h first day’s practice is done it went pretty good uh besides like I I hit the rim the back rim like a lot so it’s kind of really bent and I’ll probably need I mean probably I’ll definitely need a new one but um other than that it’s it’s it went really great um I’m satisfied with how I’m riding so I can’t wait for tomorrow uh all that’s left to do is like just service the bike like whatever is needs to be done and then just chill until tomorrow I’m a bit tired he okay [Music] oh iar [Music] [Music] qualifiers are done uh they went pretty poorly actually I messed up like completely at the top and didn’t get to jump any of the jumps which was like which cost me a lot of time and then I caught up with the riter that went down before me but he also kind of like threw me off and um although I passed him I crashed like a few meters after that and um he overtook me again and then I overtook him again it was just really stupid um like it’s it wasn’t that good but um I know I can do better and hopefully I will do that tomorrow in the finals so it’s not over yet I didn’t get into the superfinal but maybe next time so yeah that’s that’s Racing for you the bike is ready for tomorrow um you can’t see it because it’s behind the yeah there it is look at it um yeah and I’m excited for tomorrow hopefully I’ll ride better than today which I think I will so yeah I’m I’m excited he this [Music] w uh the bike is getting ready by my mechanic um and yeah like today was a lot better than yesterday um like in practice I went like 20 seconds faster than yesterday so that’s good and I’m actually now kind of excited for the race run um I am still like kind of nervous but it’s hopefully I’ll calm down a bit uh yeah otherwise like I’m I’m happy with how today is going the wether is looking great so yeah now all that’s left to do is just chill until the final run which will also maybe probably be the final run final race run here on lotion which is kind of sad but hey at least the the bikes won’t get tortured as much anymore going to the top for the final time [Applause] I’m done it was okay I may have still made a lot of mistakes but it was better than yesterday so I’m satisfied with that the time was okay about the same as on practice so I know I could have gone a lot faster but still I didn’t crash only one tire puncture tire so all was good now we just go home get a new Rim because it’s completely busted and get ready for the next race that is already next weekend and I was sitting on the hot seat for like 5 minutes and we’ve come to the end of the video um it’s been really fun being the the host um I did some great riding guys um um and yeah I’ll see you all in the next one peace out but no for real um it was a great trip I really had a lot of fun even though like I didn’t really achieve what I wanted
