Team Standert Brandenburg – A new era of German bike racing.
Team Standert is entering the highest ranks of German amateur racing as Team Standert Brandenburg.
What started as a loose bond of friends recklessly whipping their brakeless track bikes through the streets of Berlin now, ten years later, turns into a state funded U23 & elite racing team that is aiming for the stars. Team Standert Brandenburg is here and we’re just getting started.
Standert Bicycles teamed up with the Brandenburg State Association to create a program that is not just fun but also fills a real void and creates purpose. After setting up the successful program of the LV Brandenburg Juniors, the extremely talented offspring had to leave for other teams when moving up into the U23s. By merging the interests of Berlin and Brandenburg, we create a huge pool of talent that can find a home in Team Standert Brandenburg for their U23 and Elite racing careers without leaving their homes, families, schools, studies, friends, and jobs. Real life and racing life can go hand in hand, and that’s what we want to provide for the next generation. This program aims to help pave the way for a new era of competitive cycling, without needing to sacrifice life milestones for a racing career. You can now have both. Bike racing on the highest amateur level is fun and you don’t have to stop just because you’re not turning pro. Team Standert Brandenburg is here, and we hold the keys to the gate, charting a new course for cycling’s next chapter.

Standert Bicycles is a rider owned performance and urban bike brand from Berlin that is filling the gap between bespoke bicycles and mass production. The Hub in Kreuzberg is for all cyclists and the starting point of our two weekly shop rides.
