    1. Gotta say, I don't really separate Europe and Asia in my head. At least not with a hard border in mind.
Doesn't make sense to define continents with an over importance on socioeconomic zones.
It's logical that Eurasia is a single continent. Same tectonic plate.
It's even called the Eurasian plate.
Though some places are not on it. Like India and the middle east.

It's really annoying that there is no clear definition for what a continent is.
Various models are taught around the world, counting 4 to 7 continents depending on who you ask.
Out of the existing models, six continents (v2) makes the most amount of sense.
Africa, Eurasia, North America, South America, Oceania and Antarctica.
This aligns reasonably well with the actual tectonic plates, which provide a less easily distorted and less debatable framework.

(Though personally I'd just be strict with it and make tectonic plates and continents synonymous. )

The other existing models are really dumb (except maybe the four continent version, still geographically oriented).
If all Europeans left and settled in Asia, will Asia become Europe, will Asia stay Asia?
The definition completely falls apart, which it wouldn't if we let the planet dictate those borders.

    2. You know in that Istanbul picture, the building in the distance is the blue mosque (I'm pretty sure), which is very definitely on the European side of the city. 🤔

    3. Croatia is really beautiful, excellent vacation spot. But they don't have many sandy beaches, the shores are mostly rocky and there are sea urchins everywhere, so water shoes are a necessary

    4. the tectonic plates pic is good marketing. its in a lake in iceland, but its only one crack of several forming the fissure between the tectonic plates. the dive spot is called silfra.

    5. About the stalls !!! EVERY TIME we went to Grafenwoehr or Hohenfels training grounds (owned by US army) i fell awkward to shit in there !
I even felt more secured in the wild !

    6. Ive crossed the bridge in iceland that spans the small gap between the north american and european tectonic plates, pretty mental.

    7. Dude… You actually spent minutes on a car more than 99.9% of the people in Europe don't even give a sh*t about where it came from, with a novelty number plate worth less than $5 you can get in any touristy novelty shop bigger than 10 square feet? And the numbers are not 'off', it's just a regular French number plate combination, like so many thousands upon thousands in France.
Overthinking stuff that doesn't need a second though gets you into the Q-Anon realm.

    8. The meeting point of the European and North American Plate is north of an island called Santa Cruz if I remember correctly, so to take a Pic like this could be possible.

    9. Island – west side america, east side europe
Loch Ness – west side america, east side europe. Documentary – How The Earth Was Made – Loch Ness.

    10. That car owner at Paris hopefully a US citizen. Why use 💩 cars made in US of A when our European countries are making more better quality cars. Porsche Mercedes BMW etc – Germany, Maserati Ferrari Lamborghini etc- Italy, Bugatti Renault etc- France and the list go on. Always used a Audi or Alfa Romeo or a Smart and those are magnificent cars so easy to drive in French cities

    11. As for Croatia vs Italy. As a European, I've had a talk with coworkers today, talking about whether it's better to go to Croatia or Italy for summer vacation and a lot of people agreed, that going on a vacation to Italy tends to be cheaper than going to Croatia. As I haven't been to Italy in the past years, I can't concur, but just putting it out there, that the tourism to Croatia took off in such a way, that discussions like this take place.

    12. The unsolved metal object that looked kinda like lizards/snakes eating eachother, reminded me of the Auryn from Michael Endes "Die Unendliche Geschichte". But without any other object to compare its size to, it's hard to know how big it is and therefore hard to judge what it actually is.

    13. And how does european tectonic place stick this close and shallow the the american one? I think they ment alaska and russia if anything

    14. The rift with the diver isn’t the border between North America and Europe 😂 So: Between North America and Europe lies an ocean. Oceans come with their own marine plates. And the Atlantic is still expanding. It used to be together, millions of years ago. The Atlantic is a younger ocean and is still expanding, pushing North America further away from Europe (or actually pushing both away). This happens roughly at the same speed as your fingernails grow, so everytime you cut them, you see how far both continents pushed away since the last time you cut them 😊

Fun fact: Geologically, Florida belongs to Europe. The Eurasian Continent collided with the North American one. When the Atlantic startet to grow, it split North America from Eurasia again, but Florida broke from Eurasia and went with North America 😂

    15. About that US truck in France, i dont know exactly how it works in France, but here in Slovakia, some people go buy american cars and register them in there, so they dont have to pass the very strict inspections here. Basically some people just register their cars in US to make some EU illegal stuff legal becuase it from the US.

    16. The plate even is NY plate, the number is a French license plate. Some people who worked abroad would bring their car back which needed to be registered with the French authority, this may be the case here.

    17. at 09:30 thats the Mount/Rock of Gibraltar. its (like you said) the southernmost point of Europe and you can see Africa which is only about 35km (~22miles) away. Gibraltar isnt Spain, its part of the UK.

    20. the pic with Africa in the background is Gibraltar but it is not the southern most part in Europe, the southern-est point is in Greece in the peninsula between Kalamata and Sparta!

    21. The scuba diving one where you can touch the tectonic plates is in Iceland. It's in the Þingvellir National Park and you don't have to scuba dive to do it, it's on the surface too.

    22. I live on the Rock of Gibraltar. Yes we are the southern most point of Europe and on a clear day yes you can see Morocco . We are a British over seas territory and are all British Citizens
