Exploring the city of Pilsen in Czechia (the Czech Republic), which is where pilsner beer was originally invented in 1842.

You could go to Slovakia and then Greece, Aegean and Ryanair both have direct flights from Bratislava over there.
Don't leave Czechia without trying medovik (honey cake)!!!!
Amazing video. Thank you for sharing. 👍798
I saw an interesting historical anecdote from Wikipedia saying that Czechkoslovakia was invaded by the Soviet Union in 1968
Im watchinf you from České Budějovice. Its awesome u are so close from here. If u need a guide in Budějce, let me know.
31:06 Bratislava is literally 40mins away from Vienna, so in case it's not to late you can still do both.
Really looking forward to the Greek adventure Gabe. Any new islands on your radar?
Do you speak Czech 🇨🇿
❤❤
Fun fact "České Budějovice" in german is "Budweis" — guess what American knock-off brand is named after that city?
I don't know if you're going back to Prague on your trip, but if you do I recommend you to go to Kozlovna Lidická, this is a pub/restaurant owned by company that owns Kozel and has their different beers on tap and has pretty good food!
Hello Gabriel I am not a big fan of pilsner beer either but I would say that Pilsner Urquell is one of the best pilsner beers that I have tried.
I gave up climbing hundreds of stairs to get a five-minute view of the surroundings only to turn around and walk back down.
Noisy boots.
As always, fascinating subject and such professional work. I'd know your style anywhere! Been traveling with you for years and have enjoyed every mile. Thank you for taking me along.
On August 20, 1968, the Soviet Union led Warsaw Pact troops in an invasion of Czechoslovakia to crack down on reformist trends in Prague. Although the Soviet Union's action successfully halted the pace of reform in Czechoslovakia, it had unintended consequences for the unity of the communist bloc.
I'm a stout and old ale man myself. The IPA's never found a home with me. Tastes like soap.
Oh Gabriel you should have visited Kutná Hora too.
Thank you sir
27:00 be glad it did not ring. Sound levels from the small ones are around 110DB inside. And that big boy could reach 200DB easily. You would lost your hearing at that distance. I was once inside a church tower doing photoshooting for them. Two minutes before noon something starts to buzz and the bell starts slowly to swing… 1cm left… 2 cm right… we ran downstairs like crazy, the sound hit us on the first floor of the tower. Was not very pleasant 😅 My most used word for a week was "what?"
You haven't posted today. Hope you are ok.
That’s a really good tasting beer 🍺
Beer 0:30 Beer on a train? Try to do that in NYC. I guess Czechia is an open carry state.
Amazes me that most of these things survived WW II
Those road coblestones are called cats heads by Czech people, dont know why 😊
If youre still in Cz recomend KOSTNICE church of bones 😂 hella creepy
Soviet style comunism back then was Dictatorship,,,todays Rusia is diferent story 😊 China is only True comunism now, recomend visiting
You have the same interests in beer that I have. I never enjoyed pilsners or IPAs. Some of my favorites are ales and ambers. 🤩
I love IPA’s. I enjoy most beers except porters. I don’t want my beer tasting like coffee, because I don’t even like coffee.
I love Pilsner Urquell, one of the best in my opinion. Fair enough if its not to your taste Gabriel. Great Vlog as usual. Hope you enjoyed the Aussie/Czech pies
If you come to Latvia, try "Labietis" breewery pub, they have 70 different beers; usualy, 15 or 25 are at the bars and they change them regularly. 🙂 one is located in the central market (zepelin hangars)
