  1. I like Jimmi's perspective on bikes, its a realistic opinion as a bike content creator. After seeing, riding and reviewing so many bikes you just become numb/jaded to all the exposure. Only very specific types would spark any interests. Him saying about the titanium being a bit generic is true and wish it had some other interesting things done to it. I have similar tastes about bikes where if im spending a decent amount i would at least make it a little unique.

  2. thats “was” my built bike SWORKS VENGE, previously sagan paint, repainted by a professional, logo was oddly finished, 😂😂😂, thanks for the feature though! 😂😂😂

  3. 13:00, it has fake mud on there because it looks cool 😂 😭. They do have a model with a straight florusecent yellow paintjob and the Cannondale logo and it looks boring. Boooooo! Jk, I’m just be facetious because I had a SuperX with the faux mud paintjob. I also have a warranty frame with the same design, but different color scheme and the ppl love it.
I run mine slammer; I used the top dust cover from a headset reducer kit (1.56 to 1.25) for a headshok frame. Does the job.

  4. I bikepacked the Colorado Trail Race on a Single Speed. Ssp is great for out of the saddle climbing, maybe no the best choice when carrying 35lbs of camping & cooking gear though.

  5. Guys tell me if should buy ultegra di2 or 105di2. Cant decide which to put on my Stevens izoard pro disc. Is it worth the extra money?

  6. Hunt Wheel, big thumbs down from me after one failed on me big time 40 miles from home when 4 spokes gave out. I re-spoked the wheel with stronger spokes and the wheel failed again. I will never touch another Hunt product.

  7. Logos suck and I get branding but I’m not impressed with $$$$ and not having a nice paint job. Either pay me for advertising or drop the price. Or keep the price level and give us frkn nice paint job.

  8. The anodizing on titanium can be done quite good so it doesn't come off. I have the Controltech Timania stem and dropbars and I've tried to remove the color with a dish scratch pad and it won't come off. I gave up and left it.

  9. I bought a Falath Evo out of curiosity and I find myself riding it more often than any other bike in my garage and that saddle isnt the Elves inhouse 3D printed saddle let alone being 3D printed at all, bro got scammed.

Regarding the seatpost height, I got a bike fit done and my recomended top tube length for is 545mm with a 100mm stem and 714mm saddle height which for Elves is a 54cm frame. For anyone looking to buy an Elves, down size. My I bought a 52cm (535mm toptube with a 110mm stem and 10mm spacer) and my correct saddle height has the seat post on its end range of being in the frame at the "10" marker. 10 being lowest – 1 being highest. The tup tube does sit higher than "normal" because of the intergrated stem.

  10. Ahhhhh, Nooooo!… I have a Curve Titanium Belgie Spirit (Curve is an Australian company)…. It is a dream to ride and I wouldn't swap it for the world …. brilliantly comfortable. My rating 10/10 .. 😁

  11. The elves rider is probably not that small, the top tube is just REALLY high.
Top tube is at the same height as the bars (normally it's at least a couple centimeters below the stem)
and the top tube is nearly straight. Seatpost to bar drop doesn't seem that big,
but I think because of the heigh top tube it looks small.
    Stack/reach is probably quite reasonable!

  12. That Hunt with its goofy wrong-way-round tensioner looks weird… A double pulley tensioner looks and works better for what he wants to do. Otherwise that bike is awesome – been wanting to do a build like this for years.

  13. I echo Jimmy's opinion about titanium bikes: They all look the same, like literally. Because there's no coloring. If I want metal, I use steel or aluminium. It's way cheaper and you can get an actual cool paintjob. Corrosion is not really a huge concern if a steel frame is coated internally and if you look after it once in a while. If weight is that much of an issue, I wouldn't really go metal in the first place. But even steel bikes can be brought close to the UCI weight limit. So for me, there's really no obvious argument for titanium. It's just expensive and seems to have an aura of exclusivity that some people seem to go for.

  14. i bought a single speed mtb. its so much fun it makes me want to go bikepacking. ill have to do it by myself as none of my bikepacking friends will let me use it lol
