Oh you bought the black currant flavored drink. It's a purely european flavor, as this shrub is strictly banned in the US due to it being a host for a blight that absolutely obliterates pine trees. Cuarantine species by definition. We grow them here and they are rather tasty fruit and universally loved in all kinds of sweet foods, although you cannot grow pines in like 10km radius around them without contracting Cronartium ribicola fungus.
