Day 2!!!! Join us on a 115km loop cycling in the Murcia region of Spain where we tackle Port d’Albatera and Puerto Frio. we had already climbed 1000 metres at 60km in before we hit Puerto Frio which on paper is an easier climb than Port d’albatera but for some reason I found this one harder (maybe it had something to do with the 1000 metres already climbed) however knowing the rest of the ride was pretty much down hill or flat I managed to muster up the energy needed.
Spain really is a great place to cycle with smooth roads, great drivers and many climbs or many flats depending on what you fancy tackling. we stayed in Albatera which is on the edge of the Alicante region and a nice little town that allows you to reach many destination points plus it’s affordable which is a bonus.
I’d be interested to know what you guys think, comments and suggestions welcome. Thanks for watching 🤘

Great video 😊
Captures the memories well. Nice one buddy 🎥🚴🏼♂️🚴🏻🚴🏼♂️
When do we go back?
Looks epic!
Looks like a tough but awesome day. I hope the UCI don't see Mike's illegal super tuck though! 🤣. Great video.
Love it! 7:05 says it all – when you hammer, cakes just disappear and never touch your stomach. You're right Ben – however you try to dial in the measurements on a rental, it's just not the same. Great pick of route and region. Quiet roads, not too much gravel, lots of hills and pastries. Perfect.
I like your grey abus helmet, what model is it?
Great video, I do most of my cycling in the Murcia region. Roads are good and motorists far more respectful of cyclists, the weather’s a bonus too.
