More than 200 boys and girls, from debutants to juniors, applicated this year for the Belgian Cycling Climbing Project. Based on the results of a performance test and a questionnaire riders were invited for the climbing tests in the Ardennes.
Due to the current Covid-19 measurements, the group was splitted in twoo groups of 10 riders. During a 85 km ride two tests were performed: a short test of 500m on the Côte de Wanne, and a longer test of 2,5 km on the Côte de Brume.
The next step is going to the Vosges with a selection of riders, but the pandemie is going to decide when that will be possible.
