Left it in storage and I think over the years my nieces may have bashed it around, tried taking it out for the new year but no idea how to put this chain back on and can’t find similar videos on YouTube

  1. pull the rear derailleur lower pulley forward to give you sufficient slack to pull the chain over the front chain ring

  2. Push the derailleur down so it’s in the correct position, put the chain on top of the chain ring then work the chain on around the entire chainring. You should be able to pull the derailleur to give you as much chain length as you need

  3. I believe the person has a slightly different issue with the chain since it is outside the pedal. Old school would be flip the bike over so the seat & handlebar is on the floor. This might make it easier to do. Push the rear derailleur forward to get extra chain slack. Slip chain over pedal, over front larger chain ring to the smaller ring. Then pedal slowly and then it should get back on. Harder when upside down but without a stand to get rear wheel off ground takes a little more effort.
