I’m trying to restore the old family tricyle, but I can’t find any fitting pedals for this type of tricycle. Any suggestions where to look? Also if/how can it be done
P. S. I’m a total noob and don’t realy know what I’m doing
Is this an aesthetic restoration or a functional one? If it’s a kids trike, a beefy chunk of hardwood could suffice. I’d measure the shaft diameter so I could fashion a bushing, perhaps out copper and order some shaft collars. The bushing would sleeve into the hardwood with Polyurethane glue.
Edit: or just remove the spindles from some appropriately sized metal pedals, grease up the insides of the pedal bodies as bushings, and the aforementioned collars to keep them in place.

Four properly sized [shaft collars keep the pedals aligned on the spindles.](https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/shopping?q=tbn:ANd9GcSTixtiuGGbK8kFSsFNvydNkEv5XcTFXd-pgjUNn3dK71xqTXpBx7rZk5UY_m3K-QZLl8z3OO-vJDTmnVejBuJyLKUxxQuK9t1vuy-3NO-R50RZbxY5hcGnCDs)
