Hello everyone, yet another quick local ride to get out on the bike while the rain has stopped! It is about 30 miles long & a mixture of road, canal towpaths, cycleways etc starting at the Derby Museum Of Making, following along the river down to Elvaston Castle Country Park then over to Erewash Canal following this along to Sawley, from here following along the river Trent to the Trent & Mersey Canal then across to Elvaston Castle Country Park & back along the river to the start. All in all a very nice route, all be it very wet in places due to surface flooding from the heavy overnight & morning rain.
Here is the link to my Komoot map of the route: https://www.komoot.com/tour/1538813481?share_token=a7niUltnxTCjLi443jKoOgy8WAzDpVrGsoLlviQ3O3SPgIq522&ref=wtd
    Enjoy!

    1. I nearly went out on a similar route myself yesterday but went for a walk instead. I'm glad I didn't now I've seen how wet it was. My Gravel bike doesn't have much clearance under the mudguards so it would have been a nightmare. Think I'll go on more of a road ride today!
