We leave Fradley Junction and continue our narrowboat journey on the Trent and Mersey Canal towards Armitage. Navigting through some very tight sections of what used to be The Armitage Tunnel. We explore sights in Lichfield and take a look at the magnificent Lichfield Cathedral, the only 3 spired medieval cathedral in the UK. We enjoy our very first floating market, as we visit Great Haywood Floating Easter Market. We finish our journey this week in Rugeley.

    3. Paul you came a bit early, like about a mile to early with regards the narrows.🤣🤣🤣🤣 Liz, so pleased you felt walking it first was a good idea. 😅

    4. A great video but Liz – your voice is lovely – so why drown it out with background music? Your telling of the history of the cathedral would have been fine without that background!

    5. Hi guys. Enjoyed tonights vlog. Brought back memories of our visit seeing the cathedral spires about 2yrs ago. Great place. Thank you.
      Take care and stay safe.

    6. I've watched your Channel from when you decided to get a narrow boat and it's by far the most entertaining N/B channel on youtube. We will be joining you soon, our boat should be finished by the end of may so may see you on your travels.

    7. Morena Liz, Paul & Ernie 🙂As a non-religious person, I actually love seeing the old churches & there structures…on the inside & outside. maybe its because I see it all thru a photographers eye. 🙂 So, since you asked for the number of statues over on the other side…I had said 30 or 50… 🙂 Paul YESSSS the Westside rules… cos I live on the Westside of my city 🙂Wow that tunnel was very narrow.. I bet the magnet fishing folks will find heaps in that part of the canal.🙂The Essex bridge is cute how they built extra bits to allow other people to pass by 🙂It's interesting see how close you are the homes that back onto the canal, and how well kept they are too. Enjoying the slow video scenery shots as you sail by 🙂nz

    8. The Lichfield Cathedral, what an amazing sight. The effort put into creating such a building and surroundings. Thanks for covering it.
The narrows quite an engineering marvel.
I've yet to see a jam jar which can transport you between locations.
And add to that a floating market with soggy bottoms ?
      Hsppy cruising.
