  1. Thank you very much for this wonderful contemporary document and for showing it to the public. Seeing it felt like a dream to me, back to the time when I was 8 years old. I already knew Stralsund, Berlin – Lichtenberg, Berlin-Grünau at that time and everything that travelled around there because I paid attention to these things as a child. Because I had a mum who took me to the living room window on New Year's Eve, opened it at midnight and we heard all the steam locomotives from Köpenick to Wuhlheide and Rummelsburg greet the New Year with a loooong whistle. Thanks for the time, thanks for the film!

  3. Das ist ja interessant. 1967 in Farbe, gerade zur der Zeit, als die Beschriftungen der Züge allmählich auf die EDV-gerechte Schreibweise umgestellt wurde. Es muss im Sommer 1967 entstanden sein, da auch eine V200 (Taigatrommel) vor einem Personenzug bespannt war. Das gab es nur im Sommer, wegen der fehlenden Heizung.

  4. Real amazing footages of steam locomotives in the former GDR. I think , the camera man had much luck for not been arrested. At that time it was forbidden to film Railways…😮
