Here you join me at a lake right by my house. It’s smack bang in the middle of Worksop town centre and holds some great fish.
I’ve fished the lake once before where amongst losing a Carp and catching some big Bream I even hooked and landed somebody’s mobile phone.
Now the lake isn’t dead by any means. It’s a very healthy water with less of a litter problem than some venues half its size. But there’s not one safety Ring or Rope around the venue meaning it’s a silent killer. Definitely needs this rectifying immediately but on the plus side the fishing is cheap, it’s a strong Carp venue and houses a lot of great silvers.
There’s a few pegs in despair but nothing a few repairs won’t fix, and a few trees that need a trim too before they become real van fillers in full bloom.
Definitely going to give the place a fish soon as I had a cracking day last time and I’m also going to help out with a few emails regarding the safety rings being missing.

Lovely lake could be spot on with a bit cleaning up and cutting back making proper steps and that rubbish people should be ashamed of there self with cones plastic tyres get the locals to clean it up
The owner of that lake should be ashamed of himself health and safety need to walk around that lake
