Hi Mike, this will be a great ride. I cycled Narvik to Nordkapp with a friend in 1985, returning to Narvik via Hurtigruten from Honningsvåg via Svolvær, then by train to Arlanda/Stockholm for the flight home. We rode mainly on the E6. Your route will meet ours at Lyngseidet. The Lyngen peninsular is very beautiful. I suspect that the views are not so spectacular as you ride east from Tromso but I hope I'm wrong. For us, the best views were from the camping ground about 8km north of Olderdalen, which is on your route. OMG, that was 37 years ago – time flies.
What an adventure this is going to be! And more people SHOULD subscribe…. IMO you produce the most beautiful cycling content on YouTube bar none! Very inspiring too.👍
Mike, I hope they have the temp bridge up in time, but maybe you should some another bicyclist go over it first? 😄 That river looked rough, and I'm looking forward to seeing this awesome tour in it's entirety. 🚴🏼♂
