Stuff we use:
LENS – Most people ask us what camera we use, no one ever asks about the lens which filmmakers always tell us is more important. This lens was a big investment for us and one we wish we could have made sooner. Started using this lens at the end of 2013 – http://amzn.to/2tbtmOq
AUDIO
Rode VideoMic Pro – The Rode mic helps us capture our backup audio. It also helps us sync up our audio in post https://amzn.to/425k5rG
Audio Recorder – If we had to do it all over again, this is probably the first item we would have bought – https://amzn.to/3WEuz0k
LIGHTS – Although we like to use as much natural light as we can, we often enhance the lighting with this small portable light. We have two of them and they have saved us a number of times – http://amzn.to/2u5UnHv

What do you like about this one?
Is this an older interview?
Semaphore Alert !
Amazing interviewer! Doesn't interrupt, let's the guy answer the question.
It's amazing how independent films/television is making sort of a a comeback after a somewhat long hiatus after the 90s ended. I am working on getting my own production company together in my home state of New Jersey. 🎬📺🎞📓🏆📽
Greetings in today
This guy is very off the mark about Netflix being monopoly. They also produce and spend on their own television and movies.
informative interview
Listening to this man, I am reminded of the importance of putting in the work diligently and to me, emphasizes why you must surround yourself with the right people to thrive as a Creator
drawing is hard…now writing is also hard!
But thank you for this!
*NOTES*
* don't be just a writer; be a creator
* modern story tool
` compelling conflict; big consequences and outcome is not known
` targeted escalations
` relentless pursuit
` intriguing question tool
` deep heart of darkness
* WHAT IS YOUR STORY ABOUT??? 😀
* refine our processes
` try to write bad
` try to write good
` compare several outcomes
* make an extra ordinary experience; take something relatable, and then go for depth
* experience; events; make the events be compelling
Great interview
Thanks for the "get up and go messaging". Very helpful. It's too bad there isn't the organizational momentum for artists guilds and unions to chart a new distributors mechanism that is artist owned.
When it gets to the point where it can replace writers we are then in Utopia so you don't need a job at all because we are in an abundance based economy at that point.
