Second day, cycling in the USSR, 1989. A glimpse of life in Moldova, our first Soviet Republic. We begin to get the feel of life and the hardships. Our Team Leader, is accompanied by Sergei on his Moto. Allah will bicycle with us and was invaluable as an interpreter. Sabina, Dima’s wife played an important role, in locating food. Food is always a problem. A good visit to Capital City, Kishenev, opened our eyes to everyday life.
