    1. This was epic, though for 17000 usd you could get a pure climbing bike way below 6.8 kg. I don't think that I would need this budget if I had an opportunity to have my dream bike built. Moots bikes are beautiful but so expensive. As for my bucket list of climbs, it is any big climb in the pyrenees. I have not been there yet.

    2. Sy, this might be your best video yet. You summed up the joy and difficulty of every epic ride I've ever done. I so wanted to be pacing you up the last hill, shouting encouragements. Well done sir!

    3. Thanks Si for talking about the Turini and the Cime on the way down back towards Nice. I visited there in 2022 and it was epic, came up the other way from Menton via Col de Braus and it was mind blowing. Felt like a million miles away, considering I live in California.

    4. I saw this film on GCN+ and signed up straight away for this year's event. Every time im on my bike now i think how far into the inferno i would be. Im not a climer, and the time cut worries me, but the film was so inspirational I just have to try.

    5. I loved the video! It reminded me of the Cent Cols Challenge and similar emotions one experiences over such long days. Si should give CCC a try sometime!

    6. I'm very impressed of this challenge, and of course incredible impressed also of all your other challenges. I understand that you on the road have to tell us who don't know how hard this climbs really is, because 12000 m climb is crazy hard. But I think that you normally have to give yourself some small talk and feedback to boost the head, because I don't think you are telling your selv how tired you are because you guys are professional to your fingertips. And I think you are using some different psychologically clever tricks you have been teached from yourself or an sports psychologist. I still remember some lines from a crushingly dry man with silk scarf who was our sports spyshologist many decades ago, and these lines are helping me at least as much after I became invalid fighting in a wheelchair as in the running and fighting against Swedes, Finnish and even some Brits in older days😅.
