    1. i do some cycling, i do some running, i do some swimming and some weights every now and then. nothing competitive but its enough for me. i like that those things are all quite different and keep me motivated.

    2. the looks of your body can be deceiving and dont really matter much. a drunk is often skinny, but far from healthy. there are guys with quite a few kilos too much but do triathlons. in the end its very important how it is looking inside your body and for that things like, not drinking much, is way more important.

    3. I love the GCN videos that emphasize one's overall health, not just cycling speed. I'm about the same age and physique as Dan and I've learned that putting an emphasis on cross training and upper body strength has not only helped my riding, but helps me to enjoy life more in general.

    4. "who has unused filament laying around" almost every 3d printer owner on the planet has random filament laying around, currently got around 10 half used 1kg spools

    5. Has there been any studies into how the body deals with the increased carb intake of cyclist? Does the more frequent spiking or constant high levels of blood sugar lead to anything like diabetes? Consuming 120g carbs per hour will definitely require a lot of work to metabolise this.

    6. I admire you for this series on checking out your body health. I would say you would benefit from increasing your muscle mass. I am sure you will be hitting the gym in the series. A healthy diet too will help massively and you probably need to up your calories. Keep at it and re social media….Haters gonna hate. Looking forward to the next instalment Dan 👍

    7. I'm a commuter cyclist, cycling a TREK Hybrid FX1 Stagger. I used to cycle drops till I was rear ended in 1997. Severe slip disc in T6-T7 ended my career as a beach/pool lifeguard. Returned to cycling in Feb 2020 on flatbar. I cycle every 2nd day with a moderate to fast walking exercise regime in between my cycle days to keep the bones healthy.

    8. Caption contest: Lidl did Omar know what he was getting into having accepting Toms's invitation to hang in the front of the peloton. He was left completely shirt-faced by the end of it.

    9. Sy…Is your mother Catholic…”I’m just so disappointed that you….” Also Dan…shame that the Mr. Puniverse contest ceased. You would have at least been a finalist. Triathletes have the most balanced bodies…I think it is the swimming.

    10. Bit of a false equivalency with tdf riders living 17% longer than their country counterparts. Arguably they have a number of genetic advantages which allow them to be pro’s in the first place (and likely live longer)

    11. Body dysmorphia isn't worrying about how your body looks, it's an inaccurate (and maladaptive) perception of your own body. Let's not pathologise someone just because they want to look better.

    12. Healthy? Maybe. Fit? No way. Cyclists are specialists, as are marathoners. Body type developed for endurance at a specific sport, not overall fitness. Not a look I would pursue personally.

    13. The Euro Bike thing never ends 😆🤣😂 i´m curious how "good" it might be ^^.

btw: Leg Press and some weights helps a lot! Also do the Row! made me Strong and fast ^^ plus Zwift. love it!!

    14. Question for a future episode; have you got any clear and accurate information for a cyclist coming back from illness- particularly viral/covid related illness that many have been experiencing in the last three or four years. I have had Covid three times in the last 4 years and a couple of serious ent viral infections this year. As you can imagine this has played merry hell with my cycling. Whilst I am a very keen cyclist I am not a racer or someone who competes – just a rider who loves to cycle. And Dan rush and fie to the naysayers! All power to you, enjoying the series so far!

    15. Yobs/yobbos are definitely here in Australia although it competes with the term bogan and has fallen out of favour in recent times. For a good laugh lookup the filmclip for the song "Whatareya?" by Tism.
