An engineer in Ukraine is using recycled materials at hand to build DIY electric bikes. He uses wires, old bike parts, and even plastic bottles, which serve as battery housing. The bike-building takes on greater urgency in the midst of Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine. Since it began in February of 2022, the military action has devastated Ukraine’s people and land. As the country’s resources are diverted to defense – or are lost in the destruction – homegrown ingenuity steps in.

    1. You can find videos about this topic all over YouTube, nothing genius about this! However I do support idea of useing rescaled materials, even though Ukraine is so much polluted the difference it makes is no verg of being non-existing.

    2. Nice dude! Very nice, engineering is a big part of what I do and a heat shrink, see through, insulated, easily made case is a nice addition to a bag of tricks. Really good 🤜👍.

    3. The problem in Ukraine busy building and doing things that have nothing to do with WAR or WARFARE. This where and what American dollars doing in Ukraine, we fund a WAR their own people refuse to help fight.

    4. My greatest respect for this diy-er. Ukraine desperately needs these ingenious, enthusiastic and talented people who can do anything they can in spite of the devastation all around. We need more like these instead of people spoiled by itrash.
