200km of proper wilderness gravel with a ton of climbing sounded terrifying, but party pace made it ace! Jump on board with me and Al from SRAM for an epic session of big skies, epic views, lots of trees and even more banter from the 2024 Panaracer Dirty Reiver event at Kielder Forest.

    1. That must feel like a 200 plus mile road ride, pretty gnarly. Wish you would do a basic 'this is what I do' type vid as no idea what regular training you do for that level of fitness.

    2. Bloody good ride guy! I was with you on that…I could feel your europhia when you were flying down those hills, properly made me feel like moving home and come riding with you. What an awesome day out. Glad you were sensible and paced it out, no point in flying off in the first 10k if you’re going to drag along the rest of the way….loved the gentle leg pulling of those ripping it up though, I swear they all think they are Waloons named Mathieu.

    3. Any thoughts Guy on Kona going belly up? Looks like a Chain Reaction situ with Kent Outdoors aiming to flog the IP and fire all the staff/close shop. Awful.

    4. I fancied doing this event but sold out in no time. How many people did the event totally unprepared. Like your mate Al who to quote you hasn't ridden much recently. Anyway ended the circle circle now. Weather should be better lol.

    5. You might have been dropped by the racing snakes off the start but few of them held a candle to your descending skills! 👏👏👏😂 Looks like a great day out. Shame its so far away (for me).

    6. Hi Guy, enjoyed the video, great effort. On the cargo pockets: I personally love 'em, they're so much easier to access than my rear jersey pockets, particularly useful for stuffing empty gel and bar wrappers. The un-aero aspect certainly not an issue for most gravel riders.
