All the action from the Women’s Equalizer competition from Super League Triathlon Malta.

Agility, power and relentless effort are the foundations of an athlete’s success in The Equalizer. This two-stage race begins with an individual time trial, which exposes the athlete strengths and weaknesses in the individual sport. Athletes will need to push hard in this first stage, as they will pay a ‘penalty’ for any time lost on the individual effort as they head into the second stage. This second stage’s swim-bike-run-swim-bike-run sequence will see the athletes head off at different time intervals determined by their part one finishing position. The winner is the first athlete across the finish line after the second and final stage.

    1. Why wouldn't you use the super chute on every pass with the run? The bike, fine, speed, I get it it. But the run? Someone explain that logic to me.

    2. Nothing like a nice refreshing swim through a grungy boat dock … all that lovely floating shit and oil and crap on the surface to get in your mouth..

    3. I like this clip and the looks on these athlete women's, well or ladies, faces as I used to do Swim and Run weekenders in North Sydney for about a year or so. What these energy sapping disciplines can give you are euphoria and fantastic fatigue, 100% physical and mental peace right after the races until the bed time. The following mornings remind you the tolls they had on you but I sort of recover toward the end of the day pretty well and this also gives you the sense of physical strength. Boys and men have so much more social stress here and there than in 80s and I am glad these women discovered the benefits of these disciplines, I rather not say sports because the improvements can be made in each individual in diffrent stages and in various degrees in terms of speed and time and length of continuation to maintain during swim, bike and run. These women do not necessarily beat myself in my thirties for all disciplines, especially runs but they could beat me in my best form as I have been slow in swimming. Still, if I have ever have a chance to do these things in my life, I would. They are true professionals and so committed. Go girls!
