  2. Congratulations incredible achievement, I finished the 496 challenge on the same weekend, watching the live tracker really pushed me to finish it off knowing you had moved so far!
Also loved the.. 220km, 5 plates. Ugh that's not how it works out here. Truly delirious at that point hahaha

  3. Congratulation on finishing. That would never be an easy challenge. I may be alone here but I found it quite demotivating. Lots of moaning in a car for 60 minutes.

I’d have loved to see you go after the training, put back to back high mileage weeks with big elevation goals and go after a time and push your boundaries there. A peak 60km week with 1300m was always going to make this a long painful walk. No doubt it took physical and mental strength to finish.

But This was so hard and you moaned so much because it was a reflection of the preparation.

Still bloody impressive and has motivated a lot of folk so fair play.

  4. Really enjoying this Fergus. Love your non-toxic approach to challenging yourself, and the supportive team you have around you.

  5. Incredibly impressive! For what it's worth, I used the fact you were doing this/had done this to get through two hard run over the past two weeks: basically as it got hard I kept repeating that if Fergus could run 250km then I could run the last few km of my run!

  6. This backed up what I expected, monumental effort, incredible outcome, and wonderfully captured by your videographer and editing team. What stood out to me was the power of a team, they gave you the essential support to do what you did. without them this would have been to much. Well done all concerned

  7. Great job! Will use this as inspiration for my first Comrades ultra. I do feel like Fergus would do even better if he can bring his dramatization down a bit…maybe that's his way of dealing with the hardships.

  8. What an incredible journey. Brought a tear to my eye, thinking of the adversity you need to overcome to push yourself this far. As you said, this may be someone else's 5k/10k or whatever their current perceived limit is, the challenge is relative. But the lessons learned and the experience gained are a treasure worth more than all the riches of the world. You are a warrior and a legend Fergus Crawley, well done indeed 💪👏

  9. I just want to say that this is truly inspirational and you deserve so much more appreciation than I can possibly give. In the last few months following you, I have been taken from a dedicated sprinter to an endurance focused hybrid athlete. This is my first ever YouTube comment and I’ve decided to comment because I feel like you need to hear how amazing this was to watch. Good on you mate

  10. I have my first 100km race on Saturday 27th April and I'm excited and nervous. The furthest I've gone before is 50k so it's unknown territory for me as well! To think you're completing 2.5 times that distance is unfathomable to me! Congratulations on your epic achievement 💪

  11. cracking job Fergus. I can only imagine how hard this was. I actually thought you were going to climb ben nevis at the end lol.

  12. In an absolute hole from about 50K in and the ultra fatigue started to kick in. Phenomenal support team to lift you through that lot and cracking effort for digging in. Training for when you're at your worst is underrated and this was a good example of having to push through that

  13. This was incredible. A monumental achievement and very inspiring. I did the west highland way a few years ago with my late father as my support team and it was great to see those beautiful shots from your team after Tyndrum I think it is, where you have the road, the river, railway and the trail all in parallel. It brought back some great memories.

  14. You are a f-ing beast! So inspirational! You have no idea how many people you inspire with this and what impact you make on people’s lifes and lifestyles. Keep doing this!

  15. Unbelievable effort Fergus. Truly inspiring to show others that you can push through whether it be 5, 50 or 250km! Amazing achievement. Well done mate 👍🏻

  16. Insane!! Absolutely insane! I have loved seeing the progress along the way and the way you are truly open. It's always hugely encouraging to see videos like this and make me want to have my own (much smaller) version of it one day! 1000km cycle next? 😅

  17. Astonishing achievement Fergus. Congratulations. I loved how you were so honest with the footage we got to see. Amazing work all round from you, Jonny and the team.
