I traveled up to the Arctic for a weekend break in February. I didn’t want to take my bike and have the hassle of disassembling and reassembling it (not to mention the cost to fly with it). I also didn’t want to bring a big suitcase with all the winter gear the Arctic requires. Therefore, Tromsø Outdoor provided the perfect solutions and made it easy for me to rent a bike and some gear, provide route suggestions, and transportation options.

The result was an epic winter ride in the Lyngen Alps: https://youtu.be/glZbCJK7YJs

    1. Awesome, thanks so much for this! I was starting to plan a Lofoten trip for the summer and was having a hard time finding a rental service for a good road or gravel bike. Is that route from Tromsø to Lofoten available online anywhere? Is it do-able in a week or so doing 80 – 100k a day you think?

    2. Feel like this video was made for me after I asked about cycling in Tromso a couple of weeks ago! I need to reply to the email they sent me!
