    1. Awesome video. My brother and I were riding the same trails on the Bank Holiday Friday morning. Enjoyed the ride. What happened to the rendering on this video? Artifacts everywhere. Youtube compression?

    2. The new trails are looking good! Great video, thanks for the comprehensive review. 6:23 – I'll never understand these people who go on MTB trails without helmets…

    3. Great video. Really like the combination of POV and off bike footage. Need to give the new bits at Cannock a try. Looking forward to FOD tomorrow 👍

    4. im 14 and thinking abt doing these kind of things and im wondering what kind of mountin bike i get a normal one or a full suspension???? or any kind of bike thats good for this?

    5. I've just bought a bog standard mountain bike, but unsure if it is solid enough for trails like these? Could I just rock up and see how I get on?

      Total bike noob, sorry!

    6. The random stone slabs on the blue trail catch quite a few people out, i've seen quite a few accidents as a result of novice riders hitting them. As someone who rides a hardtail i'm no fan of them either.

    7. Returning to MTB with a hardtail after many years. Would be grateful for your feedback on knee pads – I see you referenced a couple in the description, I've been looking at many. Horses for courses I know, but is something like the Fox Enduro D3O enough for a place like Cannock Chase? Is something like the 7idp Sam Hill a good all-rounder? Likewise, is something like an IXS Carve overkill? The slenderness of pads now with non-Newtonian materials is preventing me from knowing what to do! On the one hand, great that they're thinner, lighter etc. On the other, you can't plan how hard to fall, so to some degree you're either protected or you're not. Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated

    8. Brilliant video!
I rode Perry's for the first time yesterday (First time on a bike in 20 years as well!!) was a great way for my friends to get me into the sport and I loved it! made it a lap and a half before my legs finally gave out and I had to call it a day but will 100% be going back to ride this trail again and when my confidence is a little better take on some of the easier Dog sections!

    9. I mountain bike on Cannock chase way before the trails, or the cycle shop and the cafe was run by the forestry commission and car parking was a £30 yearly pass.

The cycling was so much better, more remote and enjoyable

The best thing about the current trails is it keeps most cyclists to specific areas, so those that really know Cannock chase can enjoy the really good areas with less cyclists and walkers.

    10. I went yesterday and was disappointed with the distance. The blue route at Sherwood pines is 7.5 miles and they have added extra berms at the beginning. I appreciate that pines is a bit more XC than anything else but Cannock could be longer.
